This is a great family restaurant. There are so many options on their menu which is ideal for picky eaters and there is lots of space at the tables. Shake Dogs food is really filling and cheap. I always get the €10 deal, you can get a large burger fries and any drink for that money and it is so filling that I can never finish it. Compared to the likes of Mcdonalds that never fills me up fully because the portions are too small, Shake Dog really goes above and beyond portion wise 👌 👏 hiely recommended 👌 👍 😀 👏 😄 😉

Generally find it much nicer eating in vs takeaway. The burger buns are always way too soggy as are the chips if getting takeaway. The burgers are otherwise lovely though... just a shame about the soggy buns. very reasonably priced. Don't miss out on the shakes and malts, these are delicious, particularly the oreo one. To be honest the fourth star is for the great malts and shakes. It is located fairly centrally so is convenient enough.

Really nice place if you are looking for a cool burger restaurant. You get a super good deal for a 10€ menu including a burger, a side dish and a milkshake of your choice. One of the best burger places in town. The food is delicious, made quickly, and reasonably priced - my favourite is the Hawaiian burger! There is plenty of room to sit and it feels like an old-school diner which is always fun. Perfect for a delicious burger on the go.

My first time getting food from shake dog but my daughter has eaten here numerous times and wanted to treat us so I drove from Mayfield to southmain street collect our order and bring it home lockdown times I would give mine a7/10 it was fine best being the chicken a good generous portion, my husband would say 6/10 , but they got my daughters burger wrong meaning I had to drive an 8 km round trip to collect a replacement, which I stood and watched being prepared reheated burger tiny piece of bacon all costing €44 for 3 fast food meals and the apology for the mistake was poor .

The best burger place in Cork. 10 euro for any burger/hot dog/tenders, a side and any shake/soda/coffee/tea. Great choice of music. Shake Dog is often busy so expect to wait 30+ minutes sometimes. Normally the wait time is only about 20 minutes but that changes depending on how many people are eating with you. I've been eating here regularly before this place changed its name from Rockin' Joes to Shake Dog and it has not dissapointed me once. Food is actually made of real ingredients unlike mcdonalds and burger king. You will not be dissapointed.

I wish I could remember shake dog. We went after several pints at the Mardyke. From what I recall the food was excellent. I do remember I couldn't finish it all. And for someone slightly more than slightly inebriated that says a lot - because usually drunks can eat whatever isn't bolted down. I couldn't even finish the basket of chips and a burger. That probably should translate to 5 stars, however, I can't remember what any of it tasted like .... 4 stars it is

Possibly Cork City's hidden food gem.. Once you step inside the door you are greeted with a wonderful American style diner layout. The layout is diner booths with comfortable cushioned seating that add's the relaxing touch. The menu is endless. You are spoilt for choice with the amount of sides, burgers, chicken, drinks and dessert options present. The food is cooked properly and can be seen cooked if you look well enough behind the cashiers counters. Any meal of combination of food is very affordable and reasonable for what you are given. Highly recommended, definitely one of my favourite in the City.
