We celebrated my husband’s birthday here with our two kids. Such a wonderful evening. They gave us a glass of bubbly to celebrate the birthday. Our food was exceptional. Thank you so much to the chef. My children loved their steak and fish meals and we both had steak. The chocolate bar desert was amazing! Anna and all the staff here were all wonderful, friendly, professional. I cannot wait to return. Our kids said it was the best meal ever! Thank you to Anna, Chef and all the wonderful staff at Brookwood.

Wonderful restaurant and bar. Went as a planned dinner trip with the Team at work and our guests from Berlin - really was a place where we enjoyed ourselves and bonded over beautiful dishes such as fabulous sirloin steaks, gorgeous chicken supremes and for the fish-of-the-day, the salmon was seared to perfection. The drinks were lovely too although on the day, their Guinness taps were broken so sadly our German guests could not have a taste of a pint. But otherwise, the staff were super friendly and lovely enough to take a group photo of us for memories 😊

I found this Restaurant rabdomly. God Bless the day I did! The staff is super nice, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and decoration. Most of the tables are closed so they give a sense of more privacy. The Menu is outstanding, almost every time I have gone I have taken the Steaks. The quality of the beef is supreme. However, the best of all is the price you can get an incredible Stripe 8oz for 19 eur. That is definitely unique in Dublin. The Peppercorn and Butter sauce are out of this world. Thanks for the service and the great quality! Will be back soon!

Fantastic! The staff was super friendly and we got there around closing time. They never made it seem like they were rushing us. I had the Salmon and my sister had the burger. My husband & I rolled into Dublin around 6PM, starving! We were not sure where to begin, but looked over online reviews for guidance. Brookwood popped up close to the top of the list, so we decided to check it out. It's a small, cozy atmosphere with an open kitchen. The vibe was very cool and it smelled amazing inside!! We ordered a whipped goat cheese appetizer that was truly amazing! My husband had a filet for his entree and I ordered the chicken. Both were sensational and the accompanying side dishes were just as tasty! My husband had one of their local beers and I tried their house ginger cocktail. Both were delicious! We finished off the night with a berry crumble & homemade honeycomb ice cream, SO GOOD!! The staff was super friendly and made our first meal in Dublin a memorable one. Highly recommend!

Third time visiting - the food is good, great flavours, well presented and portions are perfect as long as you have all three courses (e.g. home-smoked salmon, 8oz striploin and chocolate bar). Staff is efficient and polite. The set menu works out quite well, but it is not a cheap place. The upstairs room is nice and comfortable, with a small issue of noise (the first floor room gets very loud both, with people taking, and also with the coffee grinder, machine and the constant back and forth of the staff ordering drinks).

Amazing Sunday roast! I and boyfriend repeated here for Sunday roast for 2 and the cheeky desserts also. You could try different kind of meats, vegs and Yorkshire pudding. After the meal you will feel a full stomach with happiness!

The French onion soup could have done with a little more flavour and the crouton to be in the soup as it traditionally would be. I worked locally for some time and passed Brookwood, Always saying that I needed to try out Brookwood. Will i finally got around to it this weekend, taking my partner out. I checked a huge amount of restaurant reviews and menus in Dublin and chose Brookwood. We only got to eat at 21.15 so a late feed. Turned up abd was greeted by an exceptionally friendly waitress who took out coats and brought us into a cosy table with a small soft light on the table. The service was efficient and exceptional from the moment we stepped in. Very friendly and happy staff and more importantly, genuinely happy staff. We were advised it was margarita night (half price) so we bought and they were fantastic. I had the 10oz strip and my partner the chicken supreme. I found the steak unbelievably beautiful. My partner found the chicken supreme stunning, both very, very happy! We had a great night here, genuinely. The total bill came to less than €80 for two exceptional meals, bottled water and cocktails. Highly recommended, nice warm atmosphere ideal for couples or relaxed dining. If i had to criticise anything, it would be the dessert menu we wanted dessert but found nothing to our liking. Brookwood is a great little find.

Overall a very nice spot for both a cocktail and a nice steak. (Team diner out) + The "côte de boeuf" was well cooked and came with a wide selection of sauces. We tried them all and I would recommend the pepper sauce. + The mash potatoes were perfect and creamy ! + The mushrooms were served in a creamy sauce and were lovely + The cocktails were all very nice ! Proper cocktail bartender putting serious work in each drink served. + Lovely staff ! The girl that served us was very responsive, patient and friendly. She was a very positive contribution to our nice evening. + - The truffle chips were lovely although it would have been perfect if the sauce was mixed in rather than just sitting on top. (the way it was served meant that the chips on top benefited from the sauce, but the ones below were just normal chips) - I was a little bit disappointed by the crab toast starter that lacked finesse ! - The Mac&Cheese were a bit dry. (Probably sited a little bit too long under the grill.. ) As for the wine menu, it has a nice selection of wine with a couple of great Californian bottles. Personally would add a few classics on the menu: why not a coupe of Burgundies for example... Additionally, we felt the waiters needed a little bit more training on the wine menu. (Apologies if the English in this review is not perfect, its not my first language)

We were in the mood for steaks and this was the place to be! Started with drinks. The old fashioned was perfect and margarita quite good. We had ribeyes and strip-steaks, all 4 beautifully medium rare. Some with sauces, some not. Delicious flavor without, so optional. Sides were really good. Divine truffle Parmesan chips, green beans still crunchy, and creamy mash. Overall, great meal, very friendly & helpful (and funny) service.

Excellent food, good service, the only two things I would have a look at is, extend or change the dessert menu and when cooking a steak, check that it's cooked as requested. Came across this restaurant by chance. Its is absolutely amazing, We will def be back!! So under rated. I love Brookwood as I've always had fantastic meals here. The steak is always perfectly cooked, the sauces and sides excellent, and the service is always great. Visited this lovely quaint restraunt every time I've visited Dublin (mostly work, sadly). Every time perfect food - I get the filet steak and it's cooked to perfection, which is medium rare for me. Serving staff are polite, professional and very attentive. The balance of the lemon tart dessert is exquisite.

This restaurant is most definitely a place for steak lovers. The meat is cooked to absolute perfection and I have to recommend the onion rings. The ambience of this place is nice, especially the attention to lighting and the way the tables are organized is pleasant. The food is also very tasty, and there is a lot of food. However, the price is slightly on the high side, over 40 euros for a three course menu. The acoustics are also such that it can get rather loud if there are a lot of people.

Seating in booths works well here for privacy. I was eating out with clients and it worked well for this. We had the Tuesday special of a large shared steak with sides and sauces for 50 euro. The steak was cooked well and the sides very tasty but I felt the meat lacked flavour. For this price in central dublin I'm not expecting the best of dry aged meat and I understand that steaks vary greatly I just wish mine had more flavour. Overall it was a lovely experience as it has been on each occassion ive used it and I'll go back. Staff were professional and friendly.

I have been here a number of time and I have to say I love it. The food is great and it never seems to disappoint. The interior is beautifully decorated and they recently finished of the outside of the building which looks awesome. My favourite starters are the mushrooms on toast, grilled marrow and the pate in a jar. For mains you can't go wrong with one of their steaks. The burger is great also. There a number of different sides to choose from and you can pick and choose as you like. Try the mash!

I was frankly disappointed. The service was nice, and the atmosphere as well, but I had a simple soup and sandwich, and neither was particularly good. The onion soup was completely lacking in flavor, and the Reuben sandwich bore no resemblance to any ribbon I've ever eaten (and I live in New York City). Could have been a lot better.

We went here without reservation on a Wednesday evening, close to 9 PM. The staff was very friendly & kind. I took the halibut with green beans & smashed potatoes. The fish was superb. The Hawksmoor Grill of Dublin! Fantastic steaks, the rigatoni'n cheese'n truffle is one of the tastiest combos I've had. Decent selection of wines to get you on your way. A must have are the steaks to share with a bone in them. Jacob and the gang are great hosts and provide exceptional service.

Zingy Oysters served with a shallot & red wine vinegar, perfectly cooked caramelised Scallops, succulent Prawns pil pil, and crispy Pork Belly for starters, these will all impress you at the first bite. But how could you visit this steakhouse and not try the steaks. 2 Rib-eyes: Medium-Rare and 2 Fillets: Rare, and why choose one side, get one of each for the centre of the table. The Truffle Mac & Cheese is worth checking Deliveroo at 2am to see if it's available to order... Really enjoyed our meal with a bottle of French Pinot Noir, and finished off with Espresso Martinis, chocolate hazelnut tart and a cheeseboard. The great location of this place makes it easy to reach by any transport. The accommodating staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Reasonable prices. The fancy decor and peaceful atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here.

I have work on steakhouse for months, and after try the steak of the place, I couldn't resist to give the review: The place is lovely, it looks small by outside (like everyplace in Dublin), but your mind change when you realized that it have 3 floors, all of them gorgeous and cozy. The service was so pleasant, in the door was Gabriel, that give us a table without problem (we didn't book for the night, big mistake), our servers, Valentina and Freddy were there for us all the time, such a great team. For food we have the scallops ceviche (delicious), the chicken supreme (lovely), the 26 oz steak (could a steak be more perfect? Don't think so) and some sides, all of the fantastic. Finally the drinks were amazing, the barman even come out to offer help to my friend that didn't know what to drink, Thanks Max for the help, the drinks were incredible.
