My partner and I went to Bunsen on a busy Saturday night. We had a short wait for a table to open up. Then, after sitting down, we waited 25 minutes just for someone to come and take our order. There were only two members of staff working the floor, which surely isn't easy. But 25 minutes just to take the order from two people? After ordering our food, our burgers actually didn't take long. Except that they brought a cheeseburger instead of the double cheeseburger that was ordered. We let the server know and she said it was a kitchen mistake, it would only take five minutes to fix. It was actually over 10 minutes, but okay, very busy kitchen, it's fine. They brought the right burger back, but with the wrong fries. It goes back again and over 45 minutes after sitting down, we start eating. The burgers and the fries were very good, but the service leaves a lot of room for improvement.

The fries were amazing, but I was a little disappointed with the vegetarian option of the burger. When we asked the staff for a veggie burger, they told us that they have an option with “grilled cheese”. When the burgers came, we were surprised that inside the bun was basically a normal burger filling just without the patty (a slice of cheese, salad, tomato and pickles). However, the prices were still very much appropriate and the service was great (the vegetarian option was just 3€). For future references, this is not the best place to go if you’re vegetarian but if you’re a meat lover - this is the place to go!

Amazing, tasty, messy burgers you can’t put down once you picked them up. Very reminiscent of classic greasy US burgers in the best possible way, the items of this very short and to the point menu will leave you satisfied, happy and wondering why you’d every try a different cheeseburger at any other place around. Fries are decent, though nothing to write home about. Vinegar, mayo, ketchup and mustard will fix them up as necessary. Bathrooms are very clean, which is always nice.

Burger as always was amazing but the service wasnt good got my order wrong which is hard to do with such a small menu. And they spilled my chips allover the tray when it was placed on the table . A brand new Bunsen has opened (May 2019), mere steps away from the large location in the middle of Temple Bar and only a few minutes walk from the original restaurant. It's a small location with a single room that will be very easily filled and is quite cramped for moving around with tables around the edge and stools with a counter in the middle. It was one of the first nights open and the card machine wasn't working so it was all a bit hectic but the staff were handling things well. Otherwise, it's another Bunsen so you get one of the best burgers in Dublin (in my opinion) with very consistent taste and quality. The small menu means you get served quickly which will help to keep the tables turning over. Great burgers and decent fries in a mini location right on the Dame street thoroughfare!

I always go to Bunsen restaurants in Dublin if I want top quality burgers. This one in Dame St is relatively new, and it was my first visit. The burger was spectacular as always, but for the first time my chips were overcooked, anyway I was starving so I ate them. When I asked for the bill the lady asked me how the food was, and I told her. She refunded my money for the chips.

Simple concept and menu, good for indecisive people. Beef is nice, lowest cook is medium rare, sweet potatos are amazing. This location in particulat is my fave, much quiet than st Anne, service is also nicer here 2 cheeseburgers, 1 sweet potatos fries and 1 shoe string fries 25€ with tap water. Service is quick.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The bar stool seats look like they'd be uncomfortable, but they're actually fine. The burgers are amazing, but for me it's the Bunsen milkshakes, especially the chocolate. It is fantastic!

Good place with not a lot of choices which is good in a way. Good fries. Seating was a bit cramped and the table was also a bit small. The food made up for that. Been there to the new location some days ago and for me this is the best branch I've been to. The location is amazing, is just beside my work, and I really loved the inside design, very modern and clean. On my visit I had an incredible experience even though its a new brand new branch the staff were all professional and the burger was tasty and well presented. Thanks for opening a Bunsen in Dame St., its the best location ever, and thanks for training the staff so well, the restaurant was very busy at the time I was there but everything seems to be going well. It's really hard to beat a Bunsen burger to be fair, its reputation is well warranted. The smallest menu I've ever seen, but all items are exceptional. I'm a big fan of the cheeseburger and shoestring fries. My only bugbear is the lack of a 7up free option (just diet coke or full 7up, I'm just not a fan of those).

Food is perfect, prices are low, the place is cool and simple, but it takes 30-40 min to get your food. Worth the wait, but it's just too much for a couple of burgers and some chips. Also, it's been several times that the waitresses are rude to us. Hope the service improves soon.

When people say Bunsen Burger is the best burger in Dublin, they're 100% correct. I've never had anything but a great experience in Bunsen in the hundreds of times I've been, staff are always super friendly, welcoming and attentive and their range of home brews is tasty too!

The food is nice but the staff is aloof. We sat down and it took 10 minutes before either of the 4 staff members even looked at us. They just kept walking by, looking busy doing other things like arranging condiments on tables. Meanwhile we, along with like 3 other new tables, kept waiting for someone to acknowledge us and take our order. One guy gave us water and said he’d be right back to take our order and he never returned! I had to flag someone down. Honestly won’t be going back.

La carne está bastante bien, y la opción doble no te dejará con hambre. Sola o con queso, no hay posibilidad de bacon y eso hace que se lleve 3 estrellas. El precio está bien, unos 16€ x cabeza.
