J. B.We visited as a celebration of family (five people). We had starter, mains and dessert.
The food was beautifully presentation, and nice to eat but not amazing. It was good home cooked food. I was a bit disappointed as I had hoped for a bit of a wow factor when eating.
The place was clean, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff was very friendly.
Overall a good experience: marked down as expected more than good home cooked food at a Marco Pierre Steakhouse.
g. c.While the initial attitude of the staff when my family and I entered the restaurant was off putting, the rest of service and dining experience was welcoming and diligent. The food was top tier in all of the presentation, taste and quality, and we were able to enjoy a lovely evening at this beautiful restaurant. Personally, definitely worth trying it out though undecided if I would come again soon.

G. O.Starter: Soup of the day:
Cream soup made out of the broccoli, with pieces of garlic and fried bread crumbs. Personally I’d add some pepper and salt to it to make the taste stronger.
Main dish: Steak Frites:
Replaced fries with mashed (cream) potatoes. It was a delicious composition along with a glass of dry red wine - Malbec Du Clos 2017. The steak was done medium, maybe a little more raw than I expected but still very good. The piece of meat (not sure what it was exactly - probably entrecôte) requires cutting small pieces so you won’t have the chewy experience. It comes with flavored butter and a little salad as on pictures. I was satisfied with what I got for a main dish.
Desert: Rice pudding
The rice pudding was with raspberry sauce and pistachios nuts. Medium sweetness. Probably if it wouldn’t be that late I’d get espresso with that.
Service
The service was very nice and professional despite me being non vaccinated customer. Of course I had to sit in the patio because of that, but that was was still warm and cozy with a view on a tram / bus passing by from time to time. In the middle of my main dish the manager came over to ask everyone is everything ok. I feel I was well served through my whole time in the restaurant.
To summarize. After a whole stressful day and a long time since last meal, me and my stomach are pleased and filled. I’m happy I could eat this tasty food and it’s happy for its full now. 😁
PS. My wallet is a little less happy. Even though I ordered from a card that stated 2 course meal for 29 Euro I was charged normally for each position. So in total I paid around 12 Euro more. 🙃 I'd give 5 stars if not that incident and I kind feel like a fool leaving a tip for something like that.

The lunch menu and early bird is €26.95, so we had starters and mains, ( steak/ frites/ bearnaise was a supplement of €5) and were full after that. We still managed to pay the same amount as the 3 courses, even though we had 2. I was happy to pay the 63.90 for 2 lunch menus, but they priced it all a la carte. The food was lovely, we both enjoyed it, but there was way to much salt on my frites. The decor is lovely, and the nicely socially distanced tables had hand sanitizer. I have to say, for lunch it's a bit expensive! 😁

J. T.I never knew a steak could taste this good! The food was impeccable. I had spiced butternut squash soup to start and my husband ordered a crab dish. They were so delicious I would have been happy with just that and the portion was just the right amount. We obviously had to get the fillet steak for mains I had mine medium rare it was perfect! The flavours were outstanding I honestly never had a more perfect piece of meat. The side were also delicious.
I'd highly recommend going here the food was so good and the service was flawless. Such attentive and friendly staff. An easy 5 stars!

F. M.A “steak house “ should have more than 3 steaks. A Delmonico steak is a thick cut rib eye. The delmonico here was the thinnest ribeye I have had anywhere! Nice room and friendly service. Everything was well cooked but lots of room for improvement in the steak offering.

I didn't feel a wow factor at any stage of a three course meal preceded by aperitif, which I chose badly. Its amaretto flavour had undertones of shoe polish. My creme bruleé was bog standard and very cold. We were seated in the glassed in area to the front and it was extremely cold, which was probably a Covid thing as the door remained open all evening. Have they no patio heaters? I used to pass there, looking enviously at the diners out front but not anymore.

N. B.Lovely steaks and service. There are some nice mains available here but the main attraction are the steaks. They are generally good but on my last visit my steak was very over-cooked. I asked for it medium and there was no pink at all inside. Choice of sides is not great... Chips, different chips, potatoes, fried onion rings and 2 boring veg.
Overall nice, but room for improvement.

I ordered the beef Wellington, I thought I would be asked how I'd like the steak done but I wasnt. Anyway it was medium well, tasty but quite tough. Pastry and mushroom filling was lovely as was the veg. I expected more from the steak though, as this is a steakhouse.

R. D.Ate here last night, staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Seated in a lovely corner table. A little quiet on a Monday, but that is expected, I had the prawn and crab starter, my sister had the parfait, both were delicious but in particular my starter was super fresh, tasty and light. I then had the bacon chop. The chop was absolutely massive but delicious. The cabbage and croquette served with it were also super tasty. My sister had the steak she ordered it medium but I told her she should have got medium rare, she asked the waitress if it wasn't too late could she get it med rare, normally places are unable but when it came out was cooked to perfection and she loved it. I didn't get our waitresses name but she was fantastic. I know its all too hard to find really good servers these days but this lady was a credit to your business, extremely friendly and efficient and professional but you could also have a bit of a joke with her, which is great. Shame I didn't get her name but herself and the host both really made our evening enjoyable. Can't wait for our next visit.

A. G.Lives up to the MPW name as far as the food was concerned. Absolutely gorgeous steaks with perfectly balanced sauce. The triple fried chips were great too. The ambience is casual and the staff was professional. I really wanted to give this place a 5 star but unfortunately can't because they mixed up our order. I had ordered for a sirloin steak but they got me a center cut fillet instead, and also charged me for the fillet instead of the sirloin which in and of itself is not an issue but would have been a nice gesture if they hadn't. Anyhow, I'd be happy to go back to this restaurant again, because the steaks were great. Cheers.

Maybe slightly more expensive than other restaurants around but I think you get what you pay for. Steaks cost around €30 with chips. R. G.What can I say.. the restaraunt is centre of the city. Really easy to find, just off college green / trinity college. We went as a team night out. The waiters were very accommodating giving we were 10 minutes late. They where also very friendly and fun too! Cracking some jokes here and there.
The food was excellent. Scallions for starter and the surf and turf steak for main along with a whiskey sour. It was just, glorious. Super accommodating

We went to the restaurant to celebrate the born of our 1st baby and the staff was really nice in accommodate a baby outside, even creating some shade for the baby. The service was amazing, as the waitress was really nice and arranged for us some great mocktails that weren't in the list.
The food was really good, and not that expensive as we went with the early bird menu, which has normal prices for Dublin.
I'm really looking forward to come back :)

D. D.The food was good. I would recommend the beetroot starter. The service could do with a lot of improvement. We had to keep asking for drinks a number of times before we got them. Steak's got mixt up. The toilets could do with a renovation. They are getting dirty and old. No hand towels or working hand dryer on my first visit this evening.

It was a very pleasant and reasonable dinner in comfortable surroundings and we were well taken care of by our server Guilherm. The only negative would point at a limitation rather than a failing. They obviously ran out of space which meant the toilets are very cramped. They were still very clean and well maintained but on a busy night I imagine the queue is enormous.

We were left for quite a long time after our main meal before a staff member came to clear even though people had been seated on tables either side of us in that time. I couldnt say enough to compliment the quality of our experience tonight. I could go on forever but I'll just say that it is now my favourite restaurant! The staff were so good and they were very friendly.
I ordered the French onion soup and my girlfriend ordered the asparagus with hollandaise sauce which we ended up sharing because they were so tasty!
For the main, we both had the rib eye steak. I have no words..just sublime. Not only that but I genuinely couldn't believe the quality of every thing else on our plate.
I don't write reviews but I felt obliged to on this occasion. Overall, it was 10/10 for me and I will certainly return!

Cooked perfectly. My Canadian friend Denise and I enjoyed Marco Pierre whites so much. We were given recommendations to a cocktail bar by Aaron and will go there next time once jet lag subsides. F. S. T.Very formal, but nice atmosphere. Food alright, but doesn't at all match the price level which is high. One in our party got an undercooked steak, but it was well-hanlded by the waiter. In short; Alright food, service and atmosphere, but you just pay a lot of extra money for the name.

Mouth watering scallops to start followed by probably the most delicious Rib eye steak ever finished off with exquisite Elton Mess. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant and streets ahead of all the others around town.

I was able to secure a reservation on the same day by calling which was great as the website had no availability. But that's where the positives stopped.
The steaks were ok, but nothing flash. I expected to be wowed for the prices being charged but felt like I could be eating a steak in any pub, despite ordering the house speciality. The service was friendly but not fantastic. The wait staff were doing an ok job but could be improved by paying more attention to their tables. Took an age to get their attention for anything.

Knowing of MPW but having never eaten at one of his restaurants I had high expectations. The food was excellent. But you expect that of a restaurant of this calibre. What I was surprised by was the lack lustre welcome from the Maitre’D who looked like she had never seen customers before. The water glass on the table with lipstick on it. The lack of table linen. The dusty toilets. The restaurant just looked like it was in need of a good clean. Whilst the food was good the overall tired state of the restaurant detracted from the overall experience. Sadly, I won’t be rushing back to MPW.
