Quite satisfied with my visit, I ordered the student meal deal which was really good value and the food was hot. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger and garlic fries which I'd really recommend for anyone that loves garlic. Didn't have to wait long, I was asked for my COVID cert and the staff were really nice.

It's a great place to go with friends, not your boss. That said, the burger is great, especially with bacon and jalapeños - for me, that is. Other recommendations are the garlic fries and a chocolate shake. Is it the best burger (in town, the world)? That's more of a philosophical question, but it's definitely one I enjoy eating.

Highly recommend this Burger place instead any other place in Ranelagh.. My boyfriend and I first only choose to sit in here because Bunsen was busy and it would be an 1 hour until we have a table. We were both hungry and we tried Wow Burger. Now.. we straight walk by Bunsen and choose WOW Burger instead once or sometimes twice a week! Why? Because : Bacon cheese burgers are like a dream, so tasty! 🍔🥓 Garlic butter fries is delicious. 🍟 Student meal for 9.99€ otherwise good prices too. Straight away comfortable seats. Re fillable drinks. No waiter annoying you constantly.. Toilets been clean when I use them and they are separate genders. They are quick with the food, max 10-15 minutes and you have it. Wow burger is number one on my leader board 🍔🍟❤️

Expensive for a DIY burger especially compared to Bunsen, just down the road. It's annoying to try figure out what works well in their burger. I wish they would create a good burger, sell it and if there is an ingredient I don't want I'll let them know. Service when I got my order today was incredibly slow.

Great burgers, no-nonsense ordering and pickup procedure. Fries/chips are fantastic - worth it for these alone. Burgers have two patties of meat and are completely tailored to your specification based on their menu and free refills on fizzy drinks. Staff are friendly and efficient, though since burgers are tailored from scratch, you shouldn't be expecting to instantly get your burger after ordering. You can see where your food is being prepared behind the counter. This is fast food, but not on the industrial scale of other franchises. There will be an element of trial and error and there's probably a steep learning curve for someone who hasn't thought about their burger toppings before and there are some rough edges to presentation that could easily intimidate the novice (e.g. they don't label the ice machine as to what it is, nowhere does it actually say 'free refills', no examples of recommended topping combinations...) but that are all very minor once you've been there a few times. This ain't silver service/fine dining, so the place looks exactly like what it is - a burger joint with all that entails. Tried it out because it looked so unusual and I had never heard of the brand. Now I stop in on the way home from work fairly regularly if I don't feel like making dinner. The food is great and worth a five star rating.

Would have given 5 stars because we love wow burger. However we went today it took 30 minutes to get our order and then it was incorrect so waited another 15 minutes for the correct burger. The usually delicious chips were soggy and cold. Very disappointing compared to the usual service.

The burger is nice for it's price range: + The proportions are good (not too much bread or meat) + The sauces are nice and work well together (nothing super surprising) - +The meat is slightly over cooked (in their defence in Ireland they can't serve medium rare meat for burgers... HSE regulations... ) I removed 2 stars as this restaurant has a small ventilation issue. The smell of oil is very strong when you walk in and it sticks to your clothes and hair for hours after your visit...

They didn't have a chicken burger on the menu but whipped up a nice mushroom burger. Their bacon cheeseburger was pretty nice too as was their chocolate thick shake. This isn't a gourmet food place but it was quick, functional and the food had good taste.

Great burger restaurant! This is a good location, although parking is very difficult to find. The menu is small, but perfect for this burger focused diner style restaurant. You get three options for burgers, hamburger, cheese burger, and a bacon cheese burger. Then you add your toppings. All free. Deeeelish. Remember, each burger comes with two meat patties, so it's a decent feed ;) fries and shakes also excellent.

I tried their vegetarian burger and it was the worst burger I ever had. I hope non vegetarian options won't be that bad. Onion rings were kind of OK but full of oil. I liked their garlic butter fries though. Won't recommend if you are vegetarian.

Love a good Wowburger! You basically get your burger with cheese or bacon or both. All other topics are free and you can choose some fries with it. There are not more food options, but it is a burger place anyway. Softdrinks are free refill and did I mention the burgers are great? Give it a try!

I've been eating at wowburger since they opened upstairs in the Workmans/Bison beer garden. It's a great burger and chips, although the bacon is no longer crunchy like it was when they first opened. Bring back really crunchy bacon for a five star! :)

Smash burgers have made their way to Ireland and Wow Burger is another notch in a fad that will boom and bust in shorter time than beer hawked with the history of wine or prohibition haircuts on armchair MMA fighters. Sure buddy, with that gut you could definitely take a dig off Money Mayweather. Anyway, Wow Burger plays off the Bunsen market with less than half the quality for the exact same price. Spar Deli quality bacon and Easy Singles are your costly dressing over meat that's bashed so hard it will never matter what lies they spin you about what percetage is chuck and what is round steak. It's all sphincters and tounge at the end of the day. And that's fine too. Several varieties of toppings can be added after including hot or cold onions (ooooooooooooooooooh) and fresh jalepenos (aaaaahhhhh). Basically, Wow Burger are more or less a slightly smaller Five Guys, another venue that's not exactly Wow-ing (see what I did there?) middle class Irish suburbanites. The similarities continue with Five guys certainly knowing its place at the arse end of Dundrum, spit roasted between Harvey Nichols' lobster roll lunches Jamie's Salty Italian; Wow Burger has graced our loftier classes on Ranelagh's Triangle and the smoking garden of The Workman's on the Quays. This fad is as hollow as the ambitions of the drawling millenials (of which I'm one) that consume them in well lit corners between bummed Amber Leaf rollies. It's fine but it's just a burger and I'd rather we just get it over and done with and import the In'n'Out franchise so I can get some goddamn animal fries. The craft burger trend is just like the craft beer trend. And there's nothing wrong with not being a beef wellington or a glass of Amarone. Just don't try to charge me as if you are. We hang around eating and discussing the provenance of the burgers, in a club or suburb pretending like we're Brooklyn or SoHo, drinking craft ale like it's a vintage Cabarnet. But the burger has no provenance, the quays are really windy and kinda bleak and the craft beer is too strong for a casual beverage and too weak for the price we're paying. In searching for authenticity we've bastardised the street food culture. There's nothing wrong with a burger, a beer and a sketchy neighbourhood, but don't spit at me and tell it's a cooling drizzle. The burger is nice but the product is cheap. Eddie Rocket's waiting time for a softer result. Wow Burger is exactly what 3/5 stars is for.

Nice place in Ranelgeh. Affordable price. The curry chips is different than you get in other shops normally. It comes with real curry of beans than just curry paste. The restaurant is similar to old American restaurant style with flashy colour interiors. It's just in the middle of Ranelgeh, so parking is bit difficult.
