I love this place. Very nice staff and good quality food. We had 3 fresh fillets of cod and they were delicious. Very well cooked with a good crusty sensation. We enjoyed them a lot. ----------- I have come again today after 1 year. It is good to see the business has grown but I think the cod fillets are too small. I need to give less stars of my review from 5 to 3

Been going here since I was no height. Top class chips. Used to go to it when they had places in Ardee, Newry and Castleblayney. I always hoped one day they would open in Monaghan! lol New added indoor seating area is great as means us non locals passing through don't have to eat in the car. The €6 meal deal with a can is brilliant value; portions don't seem any way smaller than the normal portions.

Mullens is the best take away ever. I love going here. I have never got a bad takeaway. The chips, I love them. They are not skimpy with there portions either. I have got different items on there menu all fantastic. The fish, chicken nuggets, burgers, curry chip, and lots more. Love it all. Can't recommended it enough. Thank you to the staff there at Mullens.
