Nice little boutique hotel on the main street. Rooms were tidy, clean and had a modern design. I liked the large pictures of the Burren area above the bed. Restaurant was very good and the service staff were attentive and friendly. Produce seemed to be of very good quality. Breakfast had plenty of options to choose from and we were very satisfied. Only drawback was that the rooms were not very well sound proofed. Didn't get very restful sleep due to conversation being very audible from neighbouring room in the middle of night. Parking as mentioned from other reviewers is tight but we found a spot on two occasions. Overall, pleasant stay with good service and good dining options.

Booked a family room for the 4 of us & we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were spotless, smart & fresh & the food was good too. Ideal location & great atmosphere as in the heart of the pretty & well serviced village plus walking distance to the amazing Tea Rooms located on the stunning coastal road.

Lovely hotel with some very good service. Ate here on two occasions fish and chicken are a safe option. I had the lamb as the person beside me eating the steak was really struggling and warned me off. He told the waitress who was not trained as to how to respond and gave a meek sorry. The lamb was no better overcooked and tough. Came back a second night as every where else was closed. Once again the service and welcome was excellent, this time had the fish which was delicious and reasonably priced. Will go again next year when I hope I can up the rating.

One of my favourites! I stayed at the Wild Atlantic Lodge with two friends last week and we can not recommend this hotel enough! Excellent location for exploring the West and Burren area, and all the must sees. Delicious food and even tastier pints in the snug bar. But what stood out for us was how friendly and helpful Paul and his team were. From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist us in anyway we needed. A fantastic example of the world famous Irish hospitality! (Great spot if you are doing a bit of cycling, we loved the corkscrew hill!!!) See you all again soon!!!

Another little oasis in the heart of the Burren. Great place for a stop and take in the salt sea air. They provide a lovely menu suitable to all pallets. The staff are a very friendly bunch nice banter.

Extremely high standards of cleanliness, in a fresh and newly decorated boutique hotel. The breakfasts are of a very high quality, and the dinner we had was very good in terms of local and free range produce. The bathroom of our Snug Double was superior to many higher grades hotels. This hotel was very great. The staff was amazing, warm and welcoming. The room was clean and nicely decorated, like the common areas of the hotel. The bathroom was renovated and had soap distributors, which reduced our foot print on the environment. The restaurant had great food and was able to accommodate persons with food allergies. Finally the hotel had a great bar with rustic style where we had the opportunity to share drinks with other customers. Suggestion for 5 stars: coffee machine, mini- fridge, hair dryer.

Thanks to Paul and his excellent team in Ballyvaughan. We were two couples visiting at the strangest of times (Covid rules in place) but the welcome and the quality of service made us feel really relaxed and safe. Great food, great Guinness, great company, super weekend.

Wonderful place! Very clean, modern rooms. Excellent little pub inside the B&B and a great breakfast the next morning. Very quaint town along the coast with pretty sunset views. Quiet and small but quite enjoyable and peaceful. One of our favorite accommodations out of many in the week!

Really wonderful staff. The room was pretty tight, like opening the bathroom door blocks the closet. The first night we were there, there was no running water. This was the whole area, not just the Lodge. The second day we were told not to drink the water, and it ran brownish. This is not the fault of the Lodge, but it's tough to not have that negatively affect your stay. We were there during a heat wave, and wow was the room muggy and hot. The windows didn't open that wide, and we were directly across from other guests, so they could see right into our room. I could see their bed, etc. While I guess I would stay here again, it was the least-great of all the B&B's we stayed at in Ireland. The breakfast was delicious.

Perfect combination of charming, cozy pub and lovely modern rooms with all the conveniences, spotless and beautiful, a gorgeous renovation. Food is fantastic, in particular beef from the owner's brother's farm, absolutely amazing stay, and everyone so welcoming. The owner a font of useful information about the area and a lively conversationalist. Really the perfect place to stay in this area and so much nearby to do.

Arrived down at about 5 o clock and we were pre warned about parking situation at hotel on website before booking but at first this was not a problem until we got down.For a hotel which has about 25 rooms there are about enough spaces for about ten cars which is a bit much and when we drove around the back to try and park cars had parked in two spots as spaces are so small i would of done the same myself so my car would of not have got damaged.I had to park my car up the road outside someones house which i did not want to have to do but had no choice.Sign was up warning us that the car park was full which was a help but i still chanced my arm.When we went to check in service was prompt and the chap behind the counter was very helpful.Cannot comment on getting food in the evening time as electricity went down to no fault of the hotels and as a result they did not charge me for a round of drinks ( which we had in our room ) which was nice.Room itself was lovely but very warm all the time even with windows opened a plug in fan was provided which was of some help but air con would make it lovely.The breakfast was top notch full Irish with a good pot of tea but bigger cups please as i had to refill about four times.Waitress was lovely and very helpful.

Stayed here for a weekend in November. Booked a Superior Double Room. It was lovely and spacious, with a little seating area with a sofa bed and chair. Bathroom was a good size with a nice large walk in shower. Breakfast was included with the room, which had a menu for hot food, and a selection of cold food like cereal, pastries and fruits. The lodge itself is lovely and clean, very homely. A little small but more cosy than anything. Would highly recommend the seafood chowder in the restaurant, it is delicious!

We stayed here for a night and really enjoyed the stay. Our room was very inexpensive, had doors to the outside, and had 3 beds. A double, a twin, and a double fold out couch. The bathroom was also really neat as it had an open air shower and is also completely wheelchair and handicap friendly. The Snug Bar is also relaxing and welcoming, with a nice selection of Irish whiskey. Food from the restaurant is quite good. Try the chicken curry!

We hadn’t booked a place for the night. When i saw this place I knew it’s where I wanted to stay. Front desk was helpful and friendly and booked us in a great room- spacious and charming. Great food at the little pub downstairs- excellent fish and chips and a good breakfast as well. I would most definitely stay here again. Also, I could see cows across the way and it was an easy and short walk to the water.

Great food in the Wildflower restaurant, which is part of the wild Atlantic lodge. Loved their fish and chips and the desserts were great. Burger was a bit dry for our liking. Can definitely recommend this place, when staying in the area or on your way to the Cliffs of Moher.

We had not visited Ballyvaughan before booking our group trip, and so it was with a leap of faith that we booked our group of about 20 people. We're so glad we did! The rooms and restaurant were all modern and great value for money! Paul was incredibly helpful throughout our trip, even offering rides around town to guests who needed it. Booking through the website, we took advantage of their massive breakfasts every morning. Given the few breakfast restaurants in the area, that was greatly appreciated as we started the day on the front foot. Ballyvaughan is a charming town. You'd do well to use this as a base for exploring the Burren and all that County Clare has to offer.

This is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast. Its warm and friendly, with a good breakfast, and there is a nice hearth warmed pub that is family friendly on the premises. The owner is a fine gentleman with plenty of good advice, and of course, warm irish manners.

It is a quality cuisine, neither too much nor too little. The presentation is neat, the quantity is good enough. The prices are correct, considering the quality of the food. Only downside, the wait is a bit long. (Original) Vraiment bon. Nous avons pris un plat de saumon fumé et deux filets de merlu, avec en dessert un crumble à la Rhubarbe.
