Went to the takeaway section of Mario's, so can't comment on the restaurant seating area. Staff are friendly and the food was excellent. Because of COVID-19 restrictions you are asked to wait in your car, you are given a buzzer which will buzz when your food is ready. Good idea 👍

Service a little slow but the food is good, big portions. Staff are friendly, the place is clean and they are quick to clear tables. Family friendly with a soft play area but can get a little noisy. Booth style seating. Takeaway also. Well priced, good value.

Good food at a decent price. Waitresses are very nice but a bit slow to take orders had to call them over last 2 times i was there. Big portions for the price and good variety on the menu. Place has been repainted which has really freshened it up and looks like seats were upholstered. The play area at the end of the diner is unnessary as its more of a danger than anything else. Most of the parents sit up at the top of the diner ignoring their kids and leave them run amok. ive seen kids on occasions nearly knock into the staff who were carrying plates of food. Children need to be supervised if playing there.

My family just love Marios. We have eaten here so many times & continue to return because the food is delicious & the staff are so accommodating & friendly. There's even a small soft play area for kids to entertain themselves while the adults finish their meals. Great variety on the menu also so it's win win for all.

I'm American, and so a bit snobbish about my "American diners" :-) The menu would really benefit by the addition of some 'Mercian diner staples like pancakes, omelettes, soup and salad options, and more sandwich options IMHO. That said, the burgers are good, and the kids' area in the back is great. And clearly this is a very popular spot.
