Really great spot. Lovely country pub with all the little nooks and crannies you'd hope to find. Pair that with a brilliant, covered outdoor seating area, it felt very safe. Less than five minutes off the green way, it's a great point half way down. The food was superb, with the best chicken burger I've had in years. Fresh, tasty and filling. Lovely staff and a great, friendly atmosphere.

Have only had breakfast here on occasion but it's well worth it. Sausages beautiful and plenty coffee refills. Staff nice and helpful. They also do delicious homemade bread and pastries. Worth a try if you're out about the Greenway in Kilmac.

A small group of five arrived in Kiersey’s for lunch after taking a well earned break from our Greenway cycle. We all absolutely loved our lunch and even more so the staff here they were excellent so helpful entertaining and chatty.. we cannot recommend a stop here enough you will not be disappointed...

We did an overnight in Kiersey's as a good halfway point on the Greenway with a child. The rooms, shared bathroom & sitting room/kitchen area for guests are all recently refurbished & very clean. The room was perfect for a family of 3. Although over the bar/cafe there was no noise in the bedroom. Our bikes were also locked in a shed for the night. We had a very nice dinner in the cafe which was amazing value (Including a delicious lemon sole), drink in the evening in the bar & breakfast the next day which was included in the room rate, also very good. The bar is nicely decorated with outdoor seating area which was great for breakfast the next morning in the sun. Jenny, Mark & the staff are so accommodating, friendly & always smiling, a great place to stay & thanks so much for looking after us all! BTW make sure to do the river walk under the viaduct.

Great stop off point on the Waterford Greenway. Plenty of space for a number of bikes. They have done a great job with the recent refurbishment and the place looks great. Quite a variety of dishes available at very reasonable prices. Staff are attentive and friendly and alot of the locals eat here which is a good sign. Well worth a stop either for a cuppa and a bun or lunch or your dinner.

Lovely pub, at the midway point on the greenway. Outside seating area is particularly nice. Didn't visit the tearooms but had pub grub in the bar. Waiting staff were very friendly. Food itself wasnt great. Overcooked frozen goujons and overcooked frozen chips, with a few pieces of lettuce and 2 quarters of tomato passing as a garnish.. Very unappetising. Pity because the place itself is lovely and with more effort in the kitchen it could be a fantastic place to stop off and eat.

Lovely spot and excellent location. Food looked good but we didn’t get to eat. We waited 25 mins at a table for someone to serve but left as we could not wait longer. The place was busy so maybe a few more staff would help! .....In response to your response, Front room, about 3.30pm on a Sunday, right in front of the display units!! In fairness it was busy and I did mention that in my review. We were just dissapointed having watched you work with the Brennans and how well the place turned out!!
