From the phone call to book a meal for myself and the family to the excellent service and outstanding food, I can't recommend this place enough, absolutely loved being here and definitely will be back. Thank you to all the team at the red door.

What a gem, we decided to treat ourselves to 2 nights away and looked on Google for restaurants near me and out of the nearest 3 we chose here. From the moment we walked in the door the staff were very pleasant, attentive and wearing masks. We were seated by the window with views of the shore and the atmosphere was great, after placing our order for drinks and food we were brought some little breads as a snack. Unfortunately the selection for zero beers is limited to 1, not sure if they stock zero wines. We both had steak and chips with house veg, steak had a delicious flame grilled flavour and cooked to a perfect medium, of course no meal is complete without dessert. We chose a tart and a chocolate which was very rich and would have been perfect with coffee though we didn't have coffee. I'll highly recommend coming here for an anniversary or a date if you're looking for something special. Thankyou we'll be returning here.

We had the best day, at a relatives wedding. The food was fabulous and such a beautiful place and setting. My special thanks to Mags, who looked after me as I have certain dietary needs. After hearing how I was missing out on a gem of a restaurant, my friends and I booked a table and went for dinner last night. It is without doubt one of the nicest meals I've ever eaten! The welcome was warm and friendly, the service was prompt and it felt like both waitresses actually cared about their customers. All of the food we ordered was top class, a true sign of a good meal is how quiet the table is and for once we were quiet. Another thing was none of us reached for salt or pepper....not something we noticed until the end but that how good the food was! The location is beautiful with a pretty swing in the garden against a back drop of fairy lights, a walled garden and a wonderful view of the water close by. I can't recommend The Red Door highly enough and will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Amazing experience with proper laid out food, great selections of choice from the Menu. Went with family of 6, had a lovely relaxing family time. Staff are willing to accommodate your needs, food just right to perfection. The view is something else whilst sitting. Sadly, had to leave eventually but will be back. Couldn't find one fault. Booking is necessary.

My Partner and I heard good reviews about the Red Door. Prior to arrival I looked it up and I wasn’t too impressed with the pictures of the restaurant online it didn’t look as fancy as people said. But... the minute we arrived I was impressed with the whole layout. The garden is very well maintained with a view that over looks the lough. It has a secret garden feel with an old swing hanging from a tree. The interior is beautiful. There is good space between tables so you aren’t banging others chairs when getting up on down. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had Duck to start and Lamb for main. Both were cooked to perfection and all the flavors on the plate worked together. It was a real sensation for the taste buds. For dessert an apple pie... which I don’t usually go for as I find an apple pie is apple pie... not much can be done to jazz it up.. Well once again this restaurant suprised me. This was probably the best I’ve ever had... The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I cannot fault one thing. We had a wonderful evening and can’t wait to go back.
