F. C.Where do I start, excellent food, great service, great staff, covid plan in place and checks in place enforced. A fantastic all round experience.
j. h.Great place to eat. Starters and mains excellent, staff attentive and friendly. Service was prompt. We had booked for 7pm, were ushered to a side bar downstairs and were called within 5 minutes.
J. R.Visited with my parents for Sunday lunch and while the staff were friendly, and there were a lot of them, the food was disappointing and very expensive for what it was.
We also noted that the place had not been cleaned well despite us being the first sitting of the day. There was initially a mix up with our orders and sides which we could see past but portion, presentation and price was just extremely disappointing.
The burger in the picture below came with a scoop of mash separately and cost €19.
Another of our dinner party had a Thai curry which came in at a whopping €20 which is ridiculous by any measure.

M.I would go as far as saying this was one of the nicest places i have ever ate in the food was amazing the staff were excellent, super covid procedures in place, the USA chicken burger was the freshest juiciest chicken burger I’ve ever had coated with fresh bred crumbs from Wexford but would come again here to eat and dine alone that’s how good the experience was very reasonable priced also.

It has such a nice and warm atmosphere, the staff are always very welcoming and accommodating. We were seated almost straight away and were ready to order within a few mins. it was very well-priced for a steakhouse. I got a starter, main, and dessert for around 30 euro.Food was really good.

C. W.Lovely lunch here today. Food was excellent and there was a lovely Mexican lady serving us who had such an impressive Día de los Muertos costume on. 100% for costume effort. They opened at 2pm and we had booked for that time. Not very busy. The only thing is the COVID certs were not checked very closely which was disappointing.

E. G.We went for dinner indoors on August 5th to celebrate our anniversary. We had our 2 kids with us. The food was unbelievable, best steak I've had in a long time. The staff were mostly new but they were very attentive and friendly, we even got a surprise at the end with 2 small bottles of Prosecco to celebrate. I mentioned the anniversary to one of the waiters in passing during dinner and was pleasantly surprised that they remembered and made the effort with us. Couldn't recommend it more, from the food to the atmosphere to the organisation. Thank you!

D. E.Have eaten here numerous times. And still plenty of dishes to try off the menu. Texas Steakout is probably the most popular restaurant in Limerick and bookings are usually required at weekends. The food is devine. The service is very good (although you can feel rushed to leave once you finish your meal because it's so busy). Prices are slightly above average.
Only thing worth mentioning for potential diners. This is not a place to come to if you want a quiet or romantic meal.
In all another fantastic meal and we will be returning again.

It's nice to find a place that likes to put on a good feed. We've been there a couple of times and never been disappointed. Herself thinks the cocktails are fantastic.
Can be noisy sometimes but thats the kind of restaurant it is so it's not a problem.
C.We walked up for a table of five with no problem. The food was great apart from my wife's ribs were burnt 😕. It was very comfortable and the staff were very fast and efficient. A little expensive but the portions were big and we all left happy.

F. M.Excellent food and atmosphere here. Excellent and friendly staff. A bit pricey for what you get. They take advantage of their popularity and we pay for the pleasure. Basic food is classified as 'side dishes ' mash potatoes for example. Would try elsewhere before 'rushing' back.
i. f.Food was very good , although a bit disappointed with sticky toffee pudding..not as good as it used to be. Temperature check on way in with some high tech gadet but no masks worn by staff and no attempt at social distancing by them. Not cheap but good value considering overall quality of food.

I'll be right with you!" could of saved the night and the fifth star.

G. B.Had a table booked here for 6 PM Saturday of a bank holiday weekend and I have to say the place was buzzing with a fantastic atmosphere. From the moment we arrived the staff were so efficient and on top of their game. The menu is so modern with a large variety of choice and I could sense an ambiance of satisfaction from other customers in the room ( Our food when served was absolutely perfect).The place is brilliantly decked out,looks really well and the toilet's are spotless. There is a fantastic wine menu or you can have a beer if that's your taste and we were served by a very pleasant, competent waitress. The place offers great value with a choice of a set menu if desired. Would highly recommend a visit, all be it if you are a couple or a larger party, definitely worth a stop if visiting Limerick.

I ordered the Mexican combo and was very satisfied with the quality and quantity. Seafood platter was likewise good. Seating and ambience was good, but for those with mobility problems, beware that it is located on a basement floor. The children ordered the traditional cod and chips which they ate with relish. We will go back.

T. 1.Service meh. Staff were more concerned with talking to each other than the customers. T Bone steak was only about 1cm thick and pre-cooked based on the time it took to arrive (I just ordered the steak). Wine list . . . not good.

Food came out quick but not always a good thing, ordered and within 2-3 min the starter was out, now can’t complain about the starter was amazing, and main course came out pretty quick too but what was I expecting I ordered a rare steak, which came out more blue than rare but still ate it, couldn’t complain it was a fab steak but not once did we get checked on to see if everything was okay.
My friend ordered the chicken burger and some of the chicken was pink which was disappointing, and nobody came over to check on us to see if it was okay! Poor service.
Waited 20-25 min to get someone to bring a dessert menu to us (the tall blonde girl)
Now what I can say boosted my rating was the cocktails and the dessert!
Had two of the mango mojito credit to the bar man/woman they were incredible and to add to that I had an espresso martini after my dessert and it was fab!
Dessert we had the ferrero Roche cheesecake - so so nice, finished it all even tho I was so full!
All in all service was poor but great from the tall blonde girl who served us at the end, food was good! Wouldn’t be in a rush back for some things tho!
Could do with a lot of work and was really looking forward to my visit after seeing all the good reviews in comparison to a lot of the other restaurants in limerick!

The waiter called Christian really made our night he was lovely chatty even when he was really busy he didnt rush us stopped and talked us and joked with us as if he knew us. And we were missing part of the order. No big deal,food came out got drinks started our dinner. Kids meals were priced good and quality food. But we said no sauce in the burger for the little man and BOOM! Got sauce! No big deal,we talked him round and got on with dinner. My burger was full of watery stuff that went everywhere. It splashed off my plate and landed on my cutlery to my right. That was an impressive splash from a burger. My wife got arm-pitted by a server right before our kids sundaes came out,with turned out to be a ball of ice cream at the bottom of a big glass. I'm not even sure if these things had sprinkles? How much are sprinkles?!

S. D.went there 2 weeks ago with a mate from university and we planned have few beers and and nice finger food with as we, flt hungry enough.
prior to that i was around 2010 in this place and I remembered that the place looked cool and private enough where one could seat and enjoy food and have food and drinks at the same time. last i went there i felt from the bright light as i was next to the street and did not feel to have more than 2-3 beers.
also the restaurant mixes families with children with all other guests and to our left and right were families with more than 3 kids each which after a while became unbearable (one of the parent slapped its 4-5 son for not enjoying the spicy chicken wings)...
our food was nice and warm, but i dont believe i would go back there again

The presentation was excellent and there was just enough food on the plate which left a small space to squeeze in desert. I chose the chocolate brownie. This was up there with one of the most delicious brownies I've eaten in a restaurant. The staff were very attentive but not too much. The price was worth every penny.

M.Food is over priced, not a good place for anyone with allergies, I have ceoliac disease and dairy intolerance and basically had steak (no sauce or veg cause they were already cooked with butter and chefs wouldn't cook a seperate portion of mushrooms cause and I quote they were already cooked!) I was offered ketchup or mayo ! The waitresses were lovely and did try to get the chefs to cook a seperate portion of mushrooms for me so that was nice of them ... Kinda disappointed over all that a restaurant of this magnitude doesn't cater for allergies and won't cater for them either they have the allergies numbered along the side on the menu, I had the BBQ ribs and steak (no sauces as they contained gluten and dairy, no vegetables, I got a tiny table spoon of salad on the side of the steak, small sized steak also I ordered sirloin it was however cooked lovely but when compared to what my dad got he got a huge piece of sirloin where as I literally got half the size of his peice).
Good service by the waiting staff they were very friendly and sis try their best two waitresses served us and one who took our order went to kitchen to double check what I could eat and came back and said none of the sauces were gluten or dairy free, she did say that I could have some onions and mushrooms on the side but when the food cane out there was none and when I asked the second waitress came back to me and said the the veg is already cooked in butter... and the went back and asked could they be done without it to be told that they were already cooked ( we were seated in the booth across from the kitchen so could actually hear the conversion)

P. F.It's fun to see how other countries interpret your country's cuisine. This is a Texas-style steakhouse in Limerick. I had the BBQ plate starter, a steak with a pepper sauce, and some sides.
The BBQ platter was good, but not the type of BBQ I'd expect. It was more vinegar and mustard and Texas style is more a dry rub or a tomato base.
The rice side is exactly what they claim - plain rice. Don't bother with it.
Overall, it was a decent meal. I just wouldn't call it Texas style BBQ.
