Great spot. Quite busy on a Tuesday evening. Glad I had booked a table earlier in the day. I had the Burger and it was great. My friend had a large Sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Two ice cold pints of Heineken Zero and two glasses of Red Wine. The Wine was good.

Had a lovely time here on Saturday. Food was excellent, the veggie stir fry thrown together for me was just great. Great service all round with a shout out to Shauna who was super friendly and nothing was a problem! I'd definitely recommend the Rustic Inn! 👍👍👍

A very well run hotel. Professional management and staff, excellent food, lovely accommodation, and great value. Abbeyshrule is a gem. So peaceful and friendly. We cycled along the Royal canal to Abbeyshrule. We will be back.

Great outdoor setup at the moment on the green in front of the pub. To me this place is actually more interesting now everyone is forced to stay outside. So perfect for a cycle on the Greenway and enjoying a drink outdoor while you take a break 😎

The rustic Inn never fails had our wedding there 5 years ago and it was the best experience, staff are friendly and helpful and you can tell its a family run business food is absolutely gorgeous we were there for our 5th anniversary with my parents and it was as good as the day of our wedding day

My self and my wife stopped in Abbeyshrule and called to the Rustic Inn the first thing we noticed was Toilets easily accessible from the street very clean and well kept we proceed to make a reservation for a meal we planed on having after a walk on the greenway we asked if it was possible to get a taxi to bring us to Ballymahon 10km Away as we planned to walk back along the canal as it turned out we were talking to the proprietor Edward and he offered to drive us to where we wanted to go as he said getting a taxi at the time could take up to an hour. when we got back we were seated straight away and had a lovely meal with a pint.A very enjoyable experience all round.

We had our Annual Argentine Barbeque last week. As always staff were friendly and helpful. The food was superb ,all the patrons who were present on the night were delighted with the food and service. I am a regular visitor to the nearby Airfield and have been visiting The Rustic Inn for many years. It’s a family run business with a lovely warm atmosphere and a genuine welcome. Fresh food ,soup and sandwich always available during the day and on weekends famous for its Lunch,in fact it’s the best lunch available for miles around in my opinion. Family run and lovely staff makes it a must visit when in the area. Situated beside the Royal canal with lovely walks and the village is an award winner in the Tidy Towns competition. .
