Honestly, the best southern fried chicken burger I've had in Eddie Rockets in years. Service was also immaculate. A good bunch working in here.

Sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order but no one came down, ended up just leaving and very hungry. Got a call from general manager which was very helpful and they were genuinely sorry, went over with my family of 8 over the weekend, I had a very enjoyable time, food was top notch, kids loved it and had colouring to keep them occupied, general manager could not have been anymore accommodating for me, my wife and kids. The service was A+++

Sinead one of the best managers i have came to meet while eating out very welcoming friendly local woman takes the time to listen and eknowledge you. food is great got what I ordered also got a delivery in my last order . The food was exactly as It was eating in the restaurant except i was on my own couch . Deserves the 5 stars for service for me

If I could give a higher rating I would. This is our regular, we only do click and collect since Covid, we are a very large family and one of the biggest disappointments from other eateries when we order is that something is always missing, in all the years coming to Eddie’s rockets Portlaoise we have never had any issues with our order or quality of our food. They hire all the right people, pleasant and happy and Sinead is a dream to meet at the door. It may very be a chain restaurant but it’s as “local” as you can get as far as service. Would highly recommend a trip here.

Got a takeaway hot dog with onoin n cheese on getting home the onion and cheese were not in the bun but placed to the side making bun mushy little effort for 7.25 hot dog ! Disappointing

I love the food here at Eddie Rocket's. I usually get chicken wings with Frank's red hot sauce, fries and a milkshake. The restaurant really looks like an old American dinner. There's even mini Jukeboxes that work at every table.

From my experiences there, the staff is always friendly, ready to help out and very focused. Surprisingly large amount of gluten free foods, and most staff while I've been there had knowledge on which items suited different dietary restrictions (religious or medical)

Kids love this place. Especially the milkshakes which are created old school style. Plenty of dietary options from vegetarian to low carbohydrate food such as sweet potato fries and chicken salads. Decor resembles an old fifties American diner with music and mini duke boxes to match. Would rate higher only that prices are on the expensive side

You know what they say about first impressions! Staff are absolutely friendly..always a smile and the customer most definitely comes first! The food was brilliant! Kudos to the chef! Portions a bit massive for the price which is affordable and well worth it! The Jalepino burger is a must try. Will recommend any day.. It is child friendly and to see Eddie Rockets in Portlaoise Shopping Centre buzzing with happy kids..patient and happy staff!! That is a credit!! Well done and keep up the grand service! X

The food was good. The service was very slow!!!!!! The chef had to call waitresses several times before they fetched the food to serve the clients. It seems they were all busy chatting away and ignoring the customers. This is the the third time that it has happened with us.
