Get the jumbo Irish breakfast. Gives you a little taste of everything, but the sausage was my favorite. They are super generous with bread here. Very happy with our affordable breakfast. They have a beautiful backyard, but unfortunately it's getting too cold to dine outside now.

Visited the restaurant recently, first time in the Covid era. Outdoor service was brilliant. Food was lovely and served piping hot. Guinness is as good as I remembered. With fish and chips, curry, chicken and lasagne on the menu, you can't really fault it.

Really nice little restaurant a bit off the highway. Great service and a nice setting. This was a quieter, full service place with decent food. My chicken sandwich was a little dry but I loved the glass of milk on the menu, which I drank for the first time in many years. Overall, it's good if you're in the area and want a quiet, pleasant place for lunch.

The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere; it's surrounded by farmland. From the outside it looks like an old farmhouse with a thatched roof. Inside, it has the appearance of a pub. Six of us went there for dinner on a weekday. Our table number was 75, but I couldn't see more than about 20 tables. The mystery was solved when I was informed that they have another section that's only opened up on weekends. It means the place becomes very busy during the weekend. Service was quick, but the place was only about 35% full. The waiter who served us was extremely polite and attentive. The food quality and taste was about 8 out of ten. Prices were above average for the location, ambience, quality and service.

Was told about this place a few weeks back been there 4 times and 2 of them times were last week. On both occasions I was served by a member of staff Chris I think his name was. And he made me and my friend feel so welcome he kept checking back with us making sure everything was OK and the food was amazing.

Old school restaurant on the old Dublin to cork road. What my mum would have called a "Grill". Very busy with local families having dinner. We had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. But waiting meant sitting in comfortable seats over a drink in the longest, so that wasn't a problem. We shared a garlic mushroom starter; old school deep fried battered mushrooms with a garlic dip. Delicious. I had pork chops which were grilled to perfection and served with a tasty apple sauce. My partner had fish and chips, again very tasty. For dessert we shared a "toblerone" cheesecake, which was pretty good. All of the food reminded me of restaurant s 20 or more years ago. But in a good way. There's no pretentious nostalgia here; Treacy's serve the food that their customers like. Service was friendly and efficient. If you are nearby, stop in and enjoy some old school food.

Just found this little jem of a spot. Hade breakfast there a couple of times now and have to say very nice home cooked food. They give you a pot of coffee and if you're like me an need your coffee to get going in the morning what's better than that most places give u a cup of coffee before you even get your breakfast and it gone before your food arrives i hate that . Nice choice on the breakfast menu to .pancakes crisp bacon. And so on .cant wait till I try the dinner menu i believe they serve a great bacon and cabbage. Looking forward to that .lots of parking and its free. Good spot for a meeting.

We are travelling in a motorhome and it is not always easy to find great places to overnight, at reasonable prices, but Motorhomecraic mentioned Treacy's, saying they welcome motorhomers, so we sent a message confirming this. Very welcome came back the reply, we also have ehu to use. We wanted a good meal as it was the OH birthday, and we got just that. The food was excellent, as was the service and friendliness of the staff. We cannot recommend it highly enough - and thanks for making motorhomers welcome!

We brought my son who has autism, they were great, gave me his dinner 1st as l asked, gave me exactly how l asked for it, brought me out small jug of boiling water as l have to carry gravy granules to make him the gravy he is used to, meal was gorgeous although a very small l have to say, portions are not big but food is lovely, we had steak with onion & mushroom & pepper sauce, and l had potato & veg, my friend had the chips but had to order a side of veg to fill him, he honestly would have eaten the portion of potato also, l understand small portions look great for presentation but tgey could definatly leave an extra portion of chips or potato on table it's needed, but the food was really gorgeous, would give 5 stars if portions were bigger & l wouldn't normally be able to finish a meal completely as l wouldn't eat huge portions but always finish everything when lm there! As just enough for me, staff are great really lovely, & very helpful, we had 99's from the shop as our desert, they were lovely, didn't order desert as last time we were really disappointed with it, the trifle was advertised with custard but was a tiny square of triffle with 3 dots of tiny dots of custard on the plate, the drizzle way you expect the strawberry coulade to be on a desert plate, so you really just had the taste of the truffle which was very soggy, very heavy, honestly didn't enjoy it, but our meal had been lovely, very small but lovely (my friend was still hungry coming out!!) , & food is nice & hot when it comes out to you which is always great, seriously if portion sizes were adjusted & they revised 1 or 2 of there deserts they would honestly be brilliant! This was the Gandon lnn, NOT TREACYS Restaurant RATING 3.5 STARS, (sorry hit 4 by mistake & couldn't edit!)
