D. W.The check in lady couldn't do aby more for us other than to carry is to the lodge, really nice and very helpful, there was a problem with our online check in which she rectified immediately.
The bar is cosy the pint is top 10 in my opinion and the food is delicious.
Staff overall are very friendly
G.Well, what can I say. I asked the amazingly friendly waitress if we could kidnap the chef after having the best fish chowder and fisherman's pie I had in a looooong time, and she refused! She did offer us to get some as takeaway, which I quickly accepted. Fight the battles you can win. Beautiful location, amazing service and magnificent food. I would give it 6 stars if I could!
A.I should have written this review in 2013 when I came here but alas I wasn’t good at doing so back then. This place was one of my favorite memories in Ireland. It was a slow season (October) so they upgraded our room for free. The seafood, mostly caught locally, was some of the best I’ve had in my entire life. The view from the room was great, looking out on what I remember as “casual ruins” that just exist all over Ireland. It was a cemetery I believe. Prices were great (and they still look great) and everyone was nice and friendly. Would recommend.

A bottle of sanitiser was given to us at reception for our stay. Bed room was crisp and 5 stars for cleanliness. Dinner service outstanding followed by breakfast the following morning which we both were surprised by variety service again outstanding. Management very friendly .1st visit to this hotel and we will be back.

We stayed for 5 nights and we're already thinking about making a trip back!
Note .. we're both vegetarian and found the food gorgeous! Veggie (or vegan if you wish!) full breakfast on the menu and the lunch/dinner veggie options are all delicious. We ate in the restaurant 3 out the 5 nights we were in Baltimore it was so nice!!! And make sure to try the on-site brewery's ales ... The APA is scrumptious!

A. M.The owners and staff are welcoming and friendly. The Hotel has a seafood restaurant, bar and pub. They brew their own beer, have mussels farm and vegetable garden. They bake their own bread. The room is spacious and clean with super view of the bay. Their breakfast is super, with appetizing buffet [fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, nuts, freshly baked assorted bread, scones. One can order hot breakfast from Irish breakfast, etc. Irish bacon is super! Dinner is fine dining. The atmosphere is cozy, warm and friendly!

B. H.Fantastic, from top to bottom. This was my third time staying at Casey's and this time around we got the adjacent building rooms, which were spectacular. The staff is more than friendly and super accommodating. Dominic even gave my 83 y/o Mother a ride into town when no taxis were available (super great guy). The food is superb, the bar is lively but, not too loud. 10 out of 10, I will stay here again. You guys are great, thank you for everything.

S.Casey’s went above and beyond helping us with transportation for an elderly member of our group that could not walk to town, and with arranging a dessert being purchased and delivered to the house at which we were dining at one evening. The food was delightful always, staff attentive and helpful. The bar was patient with a late night we spent there, and the following day agreed to let us unofficially tour the microbrewery. I stayed in the lodge and liked having direct outside access (Morning jog to the Beacon!). Room and bathroom very nice and like new. Grab some Taytos and head to this delightful bed and breakfast in gorgeous Baltimore!
B. K.We stayed in one of the cottages which probably wasn't a good decision. The room was poorly appointed and felt like student accommodation. We didn't use the self catering kitchen but there weren't even complimentary tea or coffee facilities. Also there didn't seem to be anywhere to actually eat your food if you did cook unless you were into eating it in bed. Otherwise the hotel was good. The staff were lovely and they also brew their own beer in the basement at the West Cork Brewery. It's incredible stuff. The breakfast was super too. The night we stayed we went to the bar also and had the local gin Bertha's revenge and the bar man was very helpful. I'd go back again but stay in the hotel the next time.

They also pour a great pint of Guinness. Baltimore, is a great destination, with beautiful seascapes. Casey's is one of the best places we have stayed at during our numerous past trips to Ireland.
C. C.Such a friendly welcome and they really look after you throughout your stay. We stayed in the townhouse but would happily stay in the hotel too. The townhouse is closer to the village but in winter dinner options in the village are limited so it might be better to stay in the hotel as the menu looked amazing. The restaurant is dark and dirty, the food is ok, Bailey's cheesecake with no Bailey's in it, it was tasteless.The staff tried but most of them had very little English. the waitress came over to our table with wine, gave me a sample taste when I said it was fine she put bottle down and walked away? Didn't pour it for us. We were in a cottage that was just off the hotel that had been converted it was clean and very big but very noisy, the people in the room next door were opening and closing doors all night. I wouldn't stay in Casey's again.
J. S.We were staying in Skibbereen and took a drive to Baltimore. Stopped at the main hub of bars and restaurants and they were not very appealing to us. So, we went back to Casey's. I'm so glad we did. It was by far the best food we have had here in Ireland. I had the tempura prawns, they must have been caught five minutes before I ate them. So soft and tender, they melted in my mouth! My husband had the cold roast beef sandwich with horseradish. He said it was amazing. It seems almost everything is sourced from this property, seafood, vegetables, and the crafted beers too! We even suspected the cheese was made here fresh, it was so delicious! I wish this place was back in the states, I'd go everyday!
Also the service and staff was very nice and accommodating! Not but a ten minute drive from Skibbereen go and check this place out!

D. T.Given current pandemic we were really concerned about staying in hotels however a work trip made it a necessity. I have to say that’s Caseys of Baltimore where very respectful of our personal needs and have the highest of standards of protection within the hotel that I have experienced and even accommodated is by dropping dinner to our room. The breakfast has a great menu with something for all. E car charger worked and topped up our ecar. I would recommend you to support Caseys by making a trip there, ireland needs to retain vintage hotels like this. Well done Caseys!

C. G.My wife and I recently returned from a 14 day trip along the Wild Atlantic Way. We were lucky enough to stay in a great AirBnB near Baltimore. The owner, Donough, recommended Casey's pub for dinner and told us they had excellent Fish and Chips. Well, he was right. In fact I would go so far to say that it was the best we tasted in all of Ireland (and we went everywhere, up to Sligo). The haddock was cooked perfectly with a thin batter, piping hot fires and even a scallop shell with peas. The manager and staff were great and I would highly recommend Caseys to any any hungry traveler. Thanks

Wir sind sehr freundlich begrüßt worden und bekamen sogar Scones mit Butter/Marmelade dazu Tee oder Kaffee . Das Badezimmer ist für drei etwas klein und bietet wenig Ablagefläche . Draußen gibt es einen Biergarten und im Restaurant sollte man auf jeden Fall "Seafood" essen... lecker!!
Die Stadt ist 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Hälfte davon geht man an der Straße entlang... sehr gefährlich, da sehr unübersichtlich. Schwimmen geht man in der Nähe von der Lifeguard. Siehe Google Map.
Das Frühstück lässt keine wünsche offen.
