I stopped there by chance as I hadn’t eaten all day. Was late driving home and wasn't expecting such a yummy surprise. I got a kebab buttie and was the best takeout I got in a long time. I don't live in the area but rang my mum who does live close bu to check it out sometime as the food I got was so tasty

I remember my first kebab in Wishing Well. It was 2006, couple of month after my arrival to Ireland 🇮🇪 I used to drive a truck at the time, and Wishing Well was the most delicious kebab between Dublin and Cork, before the motorway. Today, after 12 years from my last visit there, I had a chance to cheer up my taste buds again. Same place, the same owner and the same satisfaction. Can't wait for my next visit.

Since the new management took over the pizza has improved terrifically. A trip from Kilkenny city it’s all worth it. One of the best pizza in Ireland. Well done guys and next time will bring my extended Italian family.

The wishing well is a great place to get takeout not only is the food amazing and reasonabley priced the staff and owners of the restraunt are super nice and friendly people I would highly recommend this restaurant every time I have went there the service was always brilliant
