B. D.Excellent location right in the heart of Westport. Had a midweek break which was brilliant. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is super and rooms are spotlessly clean.
Car park facilities are also excellent.
Of course we will be back. 👏👏 can't wait.
C. M.Stayed in this hotel 2 years ago. Had also booked for last year but due to covid travel restrictions we sadly had to cancel. We were delighted to stay again this year. Everything was just lovely. Bedrooms were very nice, beds very comfy. Tea/coffee making facilities were brought to the room on request. Breakfast and dinner very tasty, made all the better by Caroline. Such a lovely, bubbly person. She is a real asset to the hotel. Will definitely be back next year all being well. A. C.Lovely clean rooms. Bar service very slow had to wait 45 minutes for a cocktail and there were only 6 people in the bar. Evening meal was poor with most of the food coming out of the freezer, floors and skirtings unclean

L. M.Lovely cozy out door patio at the Clew bay Hotel. Blankets and Heaters really lovely way to meet up at the moment in a comfortable spot. We had a lovely bottle of red wine, but on previous visits I have enjoyed a great cappuccino, my favourite in town and the lunch special I love the beet salad is lovely and fresh. Excellent staff and service, always look forward to going back !

Had a very pleasant stay here (in July) with my lil' daughter and my girlfriend. The staff was always very kind and always had a smile on their face. The room was perfect: nice & cosy, with a great view to river on the back of the hotel. The breakfast was (for local & also UK comparison) very good & had everything one would need for havin' a good morning.
The diner in the Hotel-Restaurant was VERY good, the menu was even better than at another high-rated restaurant. Didn't expect this before.

C.Was booked in the hostel round the corner and couldn't stick another night in that dump so maybe poor experiences there made the clew bay seem amazingly luxurious in comparison however the room was a decent size and clean, the bed was comfortable and the en suite well maintained. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. 10/10 would ditch a hostel for this place again

N. D.Was in a tour group in June and stayed here for a couple nights. I loved it. Nice small town feel. The staff is super super nice. They had a wonderful smoked salmon salad that I wanted for dinner every night. Everything was clean and to be honest, this is the only hotel that I can still remember the name of after the tour was done.

A friendly local smile greets you on arrival, and cares about your stay.
Good free Wi-fi, well finished rooms, but a few niggles like thin walls, and door not shutting properly on its own & my big bug barer is not enough plugs by the bed.
The food is very good, tasty, fresh and locally sourced.
I highly recommend staying here.
J. I.Had a very pleasant one night stay at the Clew Bay Hotel. Front desk is very helpful, the room clean and comfortable, except a bit warm; but nothing an open window couldn't cure. Breakfast was very nicely done as well.
Note: Parking is behind the hotel in a public car-park and dash slips for overnight are €3 from the front desk.

H. O.Just back from 3 nights at the Clew Bay Hotel. A perfect base from which to explore the local area. Darren and his team looked after us really well in what was the first week of re-opening after Covid-19 lockdown. There was plenty of sanitising gel, and breakfast times were staggered, with booking required for social distancing.

C. M.bed comfortable but room very ordinary. The old fashioned lock and key presented problems with difficulty opening door often. Staff had to come and wrestle with it more than once. Could hear guest walking around upstairs with creaky floor boards. Talking from nearby rooms where blinds had to be drawn for privacy. Window open for air made it all a bit noisy. The breakfast room very pleasant outlook and food was good with very good service.

E.The hotel was so central to everything the staff where brilliant and great breakfast everything you would need but I did see guest who drank soya milk brought there own and anyone that asked for it the waitress did say that if they had informed them on arrival they would have stocked it for them. Our only grip was the shower in our room it had no pressure and needs to be replaced but that was the only thing we could have grip with.
C. J.Love this Hotel. They've done some reconstruction for the restaurant & bar & it's lovely. Staff are polite & helpful also.. There's nearly always an art exhibition mostly by local artists in the lower foyer. Well worth a visit.
L. x.We ate here on way home from our mini break to westport and I wish we had found it on the first day. Stunning food, beautiful vegetarian option. Child friendly, but not over ran with kids. Coffee was one of the best I've had.

J. B. (.Fantastic Hotel in Westport, Co. Mayo, situated in the city centre close to local amenities, fantastic Resturant attached to this Hotel, the freshest produce on offer with a balanced menu with very good selection. Great breakfast in the morning, exceptional waiting staff, fast friendly and efficient.
Hotel rooms are very comfortable, well appointed with tea / coffee facilities and plenty of plug sockets to charge your media equipment.
Rooms are ensuite with wc and shower units. If you want a room with a good view, then at reception when booking. Swimming pool sessions are available behind this hotel, towels can be got from reception, car parking is also available behind this hotel, again, parking tickets can be purchased at reception.
Overall, this Hotel is in prime location for all excursions in Westport. Enjoy your stay.
J. H.Had a room in the older part of the hotel, nice and quiet but could benefit from a spruce up. Bed was comfy and big enough, good facilities in room but bathroom wasn't too warm

S. N.Stayed there with a family group of 6 in June 2015. Nice hotel within an easy walk of everything in Westport. Rooms were all larger than we expected, many had more beds or space than indicated when booking online (ex: booked a twin and ended up with 2 twins and a king in the room)--it seems like they prefer booking by phone since the rooms and bed configurations are all different. I messed up the reservation but they were very accommodating; they adjusted it without charging additional fees and were very kind even though it was something I should have caught. Seemed to cater to older guests, the 20-something 'kids' in our group were about the youngest guests there.

A. C.Nipped in here to grab a quick lunch time snack. Ordered a bowl of chowder. It arrived promptly with a smile and what could really only be balled a piece of cardboard. The soup was actually very good with lots of fish. Pity about the "bread". As we say in Ireland, it was grand, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to order it again.
