P Dans is a great spot to relax with stunning views and great hosts,Pauric and Bernie. No fuss, informal with great food and drink at reasonable prices. Best crab claws I have had in years.

The food we had was only average, beef was tough, battered fish were small portions and though we had a reservation, we had only pub tables. Six adults and 8 children. Our waitress was only new and unused to large numbers, she grumbled at being asked to clean the tables before serving the desserts! We had been there before, but I will hesitate before going back.

We dropped in to the Ocean Lodge just after 2pm on a Monday. I had the best food i have tasted in a while. Fresh and cooked to perfection. My French companion was very impressed with the food and also the service. The staff were great craíc and could not do enough for you. The views of the sea were fantastic even if you were not on the terrace, the whole resturant has huge windows. Go and indulge yourself with very,very good food at reasonable prices.

Tranquility in the ever changing light of the West of Ireland, a must stop on the Wild Atlantic Way. Fabulous pint of Guiness and superb views while you enjoy an excellent dinner! Padraig, the bartender oversees the operation, well done!

Great restaurant. We came here on our tour of Ireland and were thrilled. A mega view of the ocean completes the Fischerman ambience of the interior, good food at normal Irish prices and very friendly and nice staff give this place the last of 5 stars. Highly recommended!!!

We were actually on the way to Lost valley / Silver strand and just needed a toilet in between and so we discovered Dan's Bar & Restaurant completely unexpectedly. A place that seems far away from our time. With sunshine and a brief rain shower earlier, this fantastic area, with views of white sandy beaches and as far as Croagh Patrick mountain, bathed in light, was simply indescribable. In addition, a huge rainbow suddenly stretched across the entire region like a dome. Great location and very nice, completely uncomplicated staff. Despite the fact that there was probably a larger family celebration going on, a place to sit was immediately organized for us and as soon as we had taken off our jackets, a delicious vegetable soup including the best Irish soda bread was already on the table. There is only one thing for everything here - thumbs up and 5 stars!! See you next time! Thanks a lot and see you!
