C. M.I really enjoyed my stay here - it's in an ideal location, only 15 minutes walk from the town centre. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and very helpful. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was just amazing and included freshly made scones - absolutely delicious! I look forward to going back there again!

P. T.We were on a tour with Beyond the Glass Adventure Tours and our tour guide booked us in here. It was one of the nicest bed and breakfast places we stayed in on our one week tour of the Wild Atlantic Way! Charming look, very clean, lovely gardens, plus my husband and I had a beautiful room with a KING size bed! That’s unusual in most BnB’s.
The proprietor and his wife are very friendly, visiting with the guests while serving breakfast. Breakfast in the morning included fresh fruit, yogurt, made to order eggs with smoked salmon and homemade scones with cranberries that were to die for! ( the proprietor is from France and apparently those are his specialty!)
Woodside Lodge is in a great location too -we walked a few blocks down the road then through a park to get over to the Keys where there were several nice restaurants.
We enjoyed our stay there and wôuld definitely stay there again if we are back in the area!
D. F.Spent three nights here over the weekend and I would highly recommend this guest house. The room was very spacious and quiet. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection, home made brown bread and scones - plenty of food.
Very quiet area but is only a 10 minute walk from Westport town. The host & hostess were very friendly and helpful.

m. c.The lodge is convenient to all things in Westport. The Westport golf club is the best parkland course in western Ireland and is less than 5 minute drive. The downtown pubs and shops are a brief and enjoyable 10 minute walk. Helen and Patrice are outstanding hosts and will make your stay amazing !!

E. B.(Translated) Beautiful house tastefully decorated including old furniture. The rooms are large, well equipped, heated as needed and very clean. The breakfasts offered "classic" and "irish" are well cooked and delicious. As for the hosts their welcome is up to par and they care about the quality of the service provided.

Belle maison décorée avec goût notamment des vieux meubles. Les chambres sont vastes, bien équipées, chauffées comme il le faut et très propres. Les petits déjeuners proposés "classique" et " irish" sont bien cuisinés et succulents. Quant aux hôtes leur accueil est à la hauteur et ils se soucient de la qualité du service fourni.
