a. m. l.This is a fine big store with a huge range of decorative and DIY products from tiles, paint, lighting, flooring, kitchens, pictures plus much more for home and shrubs, flowers, trees and water features for the garden as well as garden sheds. There is a good range of hand tools and power tools along with a great range of work and protective clothing. These is fair selection of party items too. Seasonal products and items are available too, Christmas, Easter ect... All the store including the garden centre is wheelchair accessible with customer toilets and there is free parking.
P. M.Huge selection of goods for the house - from plants in their extensive garden centre to DIY supplies and tools for the amateur and professional, paints etc. From light fittings to lawnmowers you can find more or less whatever you need to maintain your house here. Good staff. - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

A. F.Today I bought a barbecue in Woodies Castlebar. I rang up to make sure they had the one I wanted. I found the guy very courteous and helpful, over the phone. I found the staff very professional, particularly Collette at the desk, who was chatty and very friendly. She got two staff to take the barbecue to my car. I love the experience of shopping at Woodies and I don't think we give enough praise for the help we get whilst shopping there. Well done Woodies, you are all amazing!

J.I have been shopping in Woodies for years and can only give them 5 stars. It's always good to know that when something goes wrong it can be put right without any hassle. I bought an angle grinder in August '19 which stopped working last week and to my surprise there was a 2 year guarantee on it. I returned to the store and within 10 minutes I had a new grinder in my hand. Now that's top drawer service. 👍

G. G.In shop all good . Bathrooms , one out off order, second, wet everywhere, seat hardly holding, went in ceiling completely blocked with dust and best they missed few tiles on walls and they left half done. If they would sell meat I would understand, but they are selling tiles!?

S. G.On the 4th September 2019 as I was looking around the store in Castlebar trying to work out my perception of the complexities of drilling into bathroom tiles in my shower.
In searching for appropriate bits and pieces ie wall plugs , screws and drill bit knowing I was way out of my depth in this endevour and frustrated to say the least.
A woodies employee (Sean) recognising my agitation came to my rescue and could not have been more patient to take me around the relavent area's of the tools section and explained what I needed in procuring a safe attempt to tackle my bath room. Thank you Sean for taking time to listen and educate me at 17.30pm that afternoon.10/10 for customer service. Thankyou Mark

M. C.I have been going into Woodie's for more year's than I can remember. The staff are 2nd to none. Their Christmas collection this year as always are unique, timeless pieces that I can remember having at home as a child and of course when you watch out for some price reduction you can manage to get a little bit more. Anything you want you will find at Woodie's and the staff in the different departments will give you all their expertise and experience and I find this when it comes to paint either exterior or interior . I have yet to receive any ofhand remarks or never feel that I am putting staff out of their way. Please God when the spring arrives and we get out to the garden the horticulturist is at hand to see you through some of the daunting tasks and their prices are very keen. Just remember where to stop once you see all the colours. Thankyou all at Woodie's agus Athabhlain faoi mhaise daoibh.
