Good hospital and staff. I was sent to emergency room because I fall from the scooter. They were very nice and took care of me. I got five stitches and got x ray, check , stayed one night in emergency room. Doctors and nurse are so nice.

Staff are always pleasant, efficient & great at their jobs! Special mention to Coleen who is an Occupational Health Therapist in the hospital - After breaking my arm recently, I was referred to OT by the wonderful Mr Lunn (Consultant), Coleen gave me guideance on gentle exercises to strengthen my muscles, easy was to dress around my arm brace, and provided me with a foam sling for showering - any queries or concerns I had were dealt with professionally. I hope Coleen gets the recognition she truly deserves - she's a wonderful ambassador for the Hospital!

I recently attended Tullamore Hospital for orthopedic surgery to repair torn ligaments in my ankle and I was well cared for by all the staff as soon as I entered the hospital. From security, administration, nurses working in the day hospital, theater staff, anesthetics, Mr Thomas Bayer and his team, nursing staff on elective trauma ward for my post operation care, care attendants and the welcomed friendly chats with the domestic staff that fed and watered us and kept the whole place clean and tidy, physiotherapy and finally to all the porters. I even got to meet three wonderful women on my ward in a similar position of misfortune of accidental circumstances who were friendly and lovely to talk to. Even the general surgeon that spoke with the elderly lady several times day and night in the bed beside me spoke to her in a caring and respectful manner. I was truly impressed.

Would like to thank all the staff we dealt with especially the lady who checked my daughter in on Tuesday night, could not of been more helpful and was a bit of craic too which helped. My daughter is only 2 and obviously was under some distress but everyone was brilliant.

Just spent the night here with my daughter. These are some of kindest most lovely people I've ever met. Every single member of staff was so so lovely. Could not do enough for us. I'm so grateful to everyone especially to the amazing nurses. Made everything so much easier for my daughter. I'm so grateful.

I had an accident that landed me in Tullamore A&E and I had to come back for surgery. Dr Rafal Pajda and his team were amazing and everyone was so informative and professional. A special thanks to nurses Annette, Kiera, Katie, and Siobhan who all looked after me so well.

Nice architecture. Love the stairway. The reception area is interesting to see. Good quality of service also. Doctors and nurses know what they are doing. Can tell the cuts to budgets are affecting the time it takes to get scans etc.

I was recently admitted to the Orthopaedic Trauma unit for treatment. I can honestly say I was treated with the very best care. From domestic to consultant the standard of care and dignity is second to none. The doctor's went above and beyond to help me. Great communication between all the staff. This unit is super clean. The atmosphere here was lovely . Thank you for the wonderful care.

Everyone I encountered among the administrative staff, porters, nurses and doctors were very compassionate with regards to my presentation to the emergency department multiple times over a period of the past few months even though I felt guilty about bothering them repeatedly.
I will always be grateful especially towards Dr. Najeeba and Nurse Jiji, their colleague doctors, nurses and all other staff who attended me.
Usually, the emergency department can be very busy especially on the weekdays, however there is also a shortage of staff available on the weekend I assume. Always a good idea to talk to your primary care provider before coming though.
No complaints at all from my experience, I wish everyone working at this hospital or looking forward to, my best regards.
I also hope anyone visiting as a patient that it goes well for them even though sometimes understandably it can be an inconvenience if things are delayed.
On an unrelated note, wish the bus frequency between Tullamore and neighboring towns like Athlone was better. If you are getting discharged late in the evening or night, be prepared to get someone to pickup you up or you have to get a taxi.
