J. W.We arrived late and we’re greeted by a very nice gentleman, shown up to our room and briefly explained how things work in the house. We wrote down our order for breakfast and relaxed for the evening eating a cheese board and making drinks we had brought with us. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast and departed shortly after walking the grounds and exploring.
A few notes - from the moment we arrived everyone in this house was so friendly we couldn’t have been treated better! The lady cooking our freshly made breakfast, the two ladies looking after the housekeeping in the house, the men working the grounds and the owner Jeff - thank you for such a lovely short night away, we will definitely be back asap! And we absolutely adore your doggies!

E. F.Gorgeous house over 300 years old, remote and quiet, great view of the stars at night with a clear sky, with little or no light pollution. The ground floor room we stayed in had a sauna and its own entrance, but was really quite cold, if took a while to heat up after asking host to turn on the radiators.
p. f.This is an amazing Country House in the Wicklow. It was originally built in the 1600's, rebuilt in 1800's and refurbished in 1980. You really have to visit it to see how amazing it is. From the second you arrive when you are met by Jeff he and his beautiful wife Svetlana can not do enough to make you feel welcome and at home in there home. The gardens are wonderful and are a joy to explore. Can't wait to come back again..l was very cold and could not seem able to get warm and Svetlana put an electric blanket on my bed to help me warm up. I thought this was an amazing thing to do for me and couldn't thank her enough. ❣

So consider it to be the best review you have ever read because the event which we held at Clone House was absolutely a wonderful and amazing experience. It is even better, nicer, tidier, more comfortable, more exclusive than you can see in the pictures. Like a movie set basically. Details for days. Furniture for Kings. Art everywhere, en-suite bathroom with fireplace (if the fireplace in the bedroom should not be enough ;) - I think you get the point, it is stunning. The garden looks like from a fairy tail, the entire venue in fact looks like from a fairy tail. Which brings me to the owners of that place who definitely make this place even more special and which is why I am writing this review. To keep it short, they are amazing, very very helpful with everything we needed and just great human beings. We have been a group of 18 people and everyone has said the same things about accommodation as well as the hosts. Simply and unbelievably nice and good-hearted people. It felt like visiting home in a way and that is why I am going there again, sooner or later. Special Thanks also go to Eugene, the gentleman who picked us up in downtown Dublin and took us to Clone House and to the airport. Make sure to ask about him when you place a booking at Clone House. Very comfortable and spacious bus available to be booked for about 25 people. Tell him the Germans said “Hi”. All in all, a trip nobody of us will ever forget! To the owners. N. F. A.A very special B&B, a beautiful Victoria heritage house from the mid 17th century, managed privately by a family since 2000. Breakfast is delicious and gardens and house truly special. Anything but ordinary and highly recommended. The hosts are lovely. Pets are also welcomed.

The place was very clean and the owners Jeff and his wife are very nice, accommodating people. Clone house is a very nice place and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to visit aughrim or who is just passing through. will definitely stay here again. Thanks very much guys :)

A. W.The first comment is that this property was do clearly signposted from Aughrim so unlike a lot of other locations there was no stress in getting there. Svetlana was most gracious, welcoming and could not do enough for you. It is a beautiful old house with absolutely gorgeous garden. Central to all the Wexford attractions such as Glendalough, Avoca (Ballykissangel) & Arklow. Would defiantly stay again if the opportunity arose. ☺ Oh and I forgot...Max the Airedale the charcter who was the icing on the cake 🐕

Returned back to real comfort in splendid surroundings and imaginative and fine food. Breakfast was equally enjoyable. Liam proved to be a most courteous host throughout and nothing was too much trouble.

K. K.(Translated) A very nice former manor house with a large garden. Off the road you drive a gravel road to the property, where you really with the hosts and other guests for themselves. Our room was small, but had everything you need. The hostess Svetlana is really great - she served us and other guests just as a service in the lounge (common room) coffee and tea, served with homemade scones with jam and cream. It was a really nice stay and highly recommended if you appreciate such an ambience.

Ein sehr schönes ehemaliges Herrschaftshaus mit großem Garten. Abseits der Straße fährt man einen Kiesweg zum Anwesen, wo man wirklich mit den Gastgebern und anderen Gästen für sich ist. Unser Zimmer war klein, hatte aber alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeberin Svetlana ist wirklich super - sie hat uns und anderen Gästen einfach so als Service im Salon (Gemeinschaftsraum) Kaffee und Tee serviert, dazu gab es selbst gebackene Scones mit Marmelade und Sahne. Es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt und sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man so ein Ambiente zu schätzen weiß.
