G. O. S.I have stayed in dozens of B & B's over the years but this one was very different for all of the right reasons. The prices even at a peak time are very acceptable. The standard of the lodges are 4 ⭐ . The host we had was an absolute gentleman and could not be more hospitable. I would give a 50⭐ review if I could because this place genuinely has such a good vibe about it the second you walk in you can actually feel the welcome. Cannot wait to book again 👍👍

O. M.Had a fantastic stay here a few weeks ago (at the end of July) with my partner in one of the log cabins. The lodge is ideally situated on the Avonmore River and within walking distance of Glendalough walking trails and the Avonmore Way. We are nature and birding enthusiasts and so the location was perfect. The booking process was simple and arranged over the phone. We booked this lodge as it is pet-friendly and we were travelling with our dog who was welcomed with a smile by the host. The individual cabins are ideal for anyone who prefers a little more privacy and independence during their travels. Particularly during the current Covid-19 climate, we were very happy to have a private cabin and some kitchen facilities. The kitchen includes the basics, a sink, a fridge, toaster, kettle, small hob and a microwave but there was no oven. The cabin itself was perfect for us - spacious enough to move around in, very clean, very comfortable and had some nice books and local information pamphlets to add to our stay. Will definitely book again.

The B&B itself is original beautiful and well kept, the owners are the nicest people you can come across genuine and very nice.
I cannot recommend this place enough it is located right beside glendalough and so many more beautiful trails and walks. Bonus we could bring the dog if we so required

I would have given it 5 stars except one of the reasons I booked was because of the garden fountain I saw in the website photos. The fountain wasn't on and I bet it would have been stunning had it been on which was rather disappointing. River views from the back garden are lovely and there's a nice hammock chair out back to relax in.

E. V.Bed and breakfast located a few hundred metres outside Laragh on the R755. Very nice garden with a terrace where guests can sit by the river. I probably had the smallest room but it was ensuite. I had coffee and tea making facilities just outside my room.
Toilet did not flush as it should. Good Wi-Fi inside the B&B as well as outside. Breakfast is excellent as well. The B&B is run by very sympathetic people. Laragh is an excellent location for walkers and hikers. It is on the Wicklow Way but there are several interesting walks in the neighbourhood.

J. M.We stayed here for two nights during our Wicklow Way hike, and I've to say it was easily one of the nicest accommodations on the entire route.
We occupied a Twin and a Single Bed room. They were both clean, light and had a very comfy and cozy feel to them. Bathrooms were private and as clean and tidy as the rest of the building suggests, hot water supply was steady. What surprised us was the lovingly and with great detail arranged garden and relaxation space behind the building, offering a nice view on the passing river as well as plenty of comfortable sitting opportunities.
The breakfast offered a good selection of fruits, cereals, breads and juices alongside the typical cooked breakfast options which were plentiful and delicious.
Location wise it's about a 5 minute walk on the street (no sidewalks sadly) to the center of the village, offering a pub, store and highly advisable if a bit pricey restaurant (The Wicklow Heather). Glendalough is in walking distance (~30min) and definitely worth a visit. There's also a bus stop of St. Kevins Bus Services that covers a few surrounding villages before heading directly back to Dublin.
All in all a highly recommended place to stay, allthough it might be hard to leave behind once the time comes.

M. B.Wonderful B&B in a splendid, green area of Ireland within a 30 minute walk of Glendaloughs many walking trails. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. My favourite things about Tudor Lodge are the helpful staff and the packed lunches; the latter of which came in useful during long days of walking in an area without an abundance of convenience stores.
E. O.Very cute b&b, very warm and cozy. It's just a 25 minute walk or 10 minute drive from the monastic ruins of St. Kevin, in the Wicklow mountains. The breakfast is amazing. Definitely would recommend this place.
A. N.Perfect! I was in Dublin on business and only had one night to get out of the city. I was able to take a bus from Dublin to Glendalough...explore the ruins...and walk on a wooded trail that popped out right across from the B&B. The B&B had very nice rooms and a fantastic breakfast. The next morning, I just walked right onto the trail system across the street and spent the day exploring the lakes, hills, and ruins of Glendalough. Highly recommend the B&B. I would love to come back for a longer stay, but it was a perfect escape from my Dublin business trip.

Wirklich schön kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Chris und Jane sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Und hinter der Lodge kann man am Abend gemütlich sitzen und entspannen, nach einem langen Wander Tag. Frühstück : Kaffe ist stark, genau richtig zum wach werden. Rührei, Brot, Käse, Cornflakes, Marmelade mehr als ausreichend.
