M. D.Loved this place. Firstly the staff was brilliant. Very professional and simply nice people. Very family friendly hotel with a play area inside for kids, plus a fairy garden and a pool. Plus Christmas lights outside is good for the kids. We loved the food also. Was mad busy so book in advance! But would definitely stay again.

M. O. N.This is a fabulous hotel. Beautifully decorated. Staff are very nice friendly and top class service with everything. Rooms are very spacious spotless and very comfortable and again beautifully decorated . Dinner was also delicious. The down side was self-service breakfast and had to make own toast. Up and down from table. This should not be happening with covid.. Breakfast itself was lovely.. Thank you for a lovely stay.
R. M.We stayed in the Skylark suite for my boyfriend's birthday and it was absolutely fabulous! We also got spa treatments which were super. Was a bit cold in the treatment rooms ans as soon as I brought it up, they adjusted the temperature. Our suite was welll heated! Staff is beyond kind , all way from leisure centre staff right through reception. The food for breakfast/lunch was delicious but our dinner menu was quite disappointing, the meats had a weird taste to them it was difficult to finish... Over all, I really enjoyed our stay and the staff was great at accommodating for little requests. Cute hotel with a friendly buzz to it x
L. C.Amazing Staff, spotlessly clean and wonderful food...sadly just very bad sound quality in rooms. Stayed 5 nights and only managed 1 night full sleep. Unfortunately, we won't be back to stay but would definitely recommend the meals and the lovely friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Manager Oisin never acknowledged my email informing him of our stay as requested in the welcome pack "Tell me first"...I didn't email to get a refund or anything but just to explain what our experience was like both good and bad (sleepwise) in the hotel not that he could do anything about it really...but I thought it wasn't very unprofessional not to even acknowledge my email.

B. N.Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 2 young children last weekend in august. What a great hotel staff so friendly and food was fab, my children had such a great time in the swimming pool and the fairy garden. Already cant wait to visit again.
C.Best experience I've had in a hotel.
The first night we where there the mattress was awful and when mentioned we where moved straight away to a better room. We had our 4 month old with us and they had a travel cot made up as a little bed that was beyond adorable.
The food was amazing and service was impeccable. We where checked on periodically giving the perfect time between courses. Desserts where amazing maltezer and fudge cheese cake, can't say much more. When finished the meal we could then move to the lounge to enjoy some drinks. Followed by last calls and finish in our room.
We had breakfast in our room twice which was fantastic again amazing service, and the pastrys where always freshly cooked and would just melt in your mouth.
Parking outside the front was so handy but there was also underground parking.
All and all great experience and looking forward to staying again.

The breakfast was excellent, the kids loved the pancake machine! The hotel staff could not do enough to help. The kids enjoyed the soft play next door, which is excellent value.

Toilets/baby changing facilities were really clean.

a. m.Just had the most enjoyable two night stay here with my husband and three kids. From beginning to end, the staff could not do enough for us and were all so friendly. The hotel was so clean and I felt very relaxed and safe during this COVID madness. The staff sanitised everything between guests. The owner was so friendly, such a fabulous family run hotel. Could not fault one thing.
Swimming’s pool was lovely too and a play Center attached to hotel which was also cleaned down after each play session. Will definitely be back! 👍🏻

t. c.Staff are very nice and friendly. Food is fantastic. However we book for a family of six, one adult and two kids per room. We got charged an extra 40 euro when we check in from our booking. Our rooms were not interconnecting. My sister stayed as well with two kids and paid 12.5 euro a night cheaper. We stayed two nights and ended up paying €50 more. Shower are lovely but no pressure with the one over the bath. Rooms are too warm even with thermostat turn down.

S. C.We came across this place by chance, we seen a sign for it on the motorway on our way back from Galway and said sure we'll pop in for dinner. The bar/restaurant area was really nice and the food was great, I got the roast beef and had it devoured in 5 minutes I'd say. Only thing I'll say is the chocolate fudge cake was a bit dry and it came out with mint ice cream instead of vanilla which u thought was weird but all in all a great experience and would definitely visit again if we where in the area

On the day before the wedding when the stress was getting to us, managers were confident and calming. On the day of the wedding everything was perfect: getting ready in the hotel, photos, ceremony and the food. Especially want to rate the food at the wedding. I had many guests who are very fussy people but the food was just amazing. The soup, the fish, the beef and even vegetarian dish were 5 stars out of 5. Loved the house special wine 🍷 too! The food is not bad, but if you have time you could find better near the hotel. Next time we would not eat here again. Good for family dinner but would 't recommend for business dinner. The breakfast was better, no complaints there. Staf was very friendly.

U. b. a. s.From the minute I booked this hotel I knew we were going from home to home with Elaine at the end if the phone sorting out pool slots and brekki made it so easier the kids arrived to hot chocolate and a huge homemade cookie in the room a bottle of wine for mammy and daddy its small touches like this make a huge difference everywhere you go in this beautiful hotel everyone has a smile and hows your day?we were greated by a fantastic manager oisin whom went out of his way for us so far as to write up an itinerary for us to do which we did it all we were staying 3 night then travelling to kerry to another hotel in hindsight wished we'd stayed in raheen woods for the 6 nights I can say without a shadow of a doubt we will deffo be back beautiful hotel fab food beautiful spacious clean room great pool ticks all the boxes keep up the good work

Highly recommend a visit it's conveniently located near the M6 in the heritage town if Athenry.

T. B.The hotel is located on the outskirts of Athenry, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the town center. There you can visit a monastery ruin, a castle and the heritage center.
Our room with bathroom was nice, clean and comfortably furnished.
Otherwise, we don't think there's much to see there. In any case, you should have coffee and cake in the old Barracks Restaurant/Cafe, it tastes very good.
A few pubs that don't open until around 5 p.m., unfortunately there are few options for dinner, which led us to eat in the bar at the hotel.
The hotel bar serves hamburgers, half duck with mashed potatoes, steak, etc.
P. N.Nice hotel. Good rooms, friendly service and good quality food. Large swimming pool and gym. I can recommend this hotel for a stay of several days. From the hotel it is not far to Galway and the coastal road to Cliff and Moher.
