The dodder anglers association had their dodder day out yesterday, and it was a magnificent day, a magnificent place to be, everyone caught and returned all fish to the water for another day ,the weather conditions were perfect, the layout was brilliant, toilets spotless, lots of facilities there if you wish to use them ,for making tea ,lunch etc etc, also a glamping facilitie there for people wishing to have a peaceful break away from the hustle it was our second time to hold this fishing event and again it was magnificent a big thank you to one and all, go give it a try I bet you would be back again, a lovely place Thanks a million Tony butler bohernabreena chairman of the dodder anglers association Dublin,

Lovely spot to spend the night fishing. Secure electric gates mean there aren't any munchers sneaking in at night. Could do with a tackle shop but apart from that it's an amazing place.

Absolutely beautiful set up in southern county fishing resort, if I’m honest probably one of the best spots like it’s kind in Ireland, the owners are fantastic and they have the place it top condition, the fishing is great in it, you can catch rainbow trout and some course fish too like carp and tench, the bottom lake is stocked with trout only and it’s not a big lake but it does hold some big trout, I’m counting down the days till it reopens after this pandemic I’ll be sure to book a days fishing in it soon as the restrictions are lifted

What a lovely relaxing spot to stay over they have camping area as well as a very comfortable lodge. Good for fishing or using as a base to explore the county.
