K. M.We had a very good stay here. Room was good hotel was quiet and the food is the bar was excellent if ordering order fish.
They had entertainment in the bar till 12 he was good, overall very happy with our stay and the views of the sea were great.I thought breakfast was very good too everything you needed and cooked well. The hotel manager was meeting and greeting everyone which was nice too see.we would stay again.

P. M.Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife. It's a beautiful hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel are beautiful. Rooms are very very clean and comfortable. We ate in the bar one night and the restaurant the second night,food was lovely. I didn't give it the five stars as we found the service was very slow in the bar, In saying that it wouldn't put us off going back.

Location is beautiful, the food was exceptional- all our guests got onto us after to compliment the meal. The attention to detail was phenomenal. From the moment we walked into the hotel until we left everything was perfect. Chloe has been an amazing help to us all the way through the planning and we appreciate everything she done for us. Jonathan, Chloe, Ranko, Mark and all other members of staff went above and beyond for us to ensure we and our guests had the best experience and we did. The rooms were so comfortable, exceptionally clean and the bridal suite was out of this world!!! There aren't enough words to express our sincere gratitude, delight and sheer joy of choosing the Connemara Coast Hotel as our wedding venue. Thank you to all the staff, we had the best time! F. A.Absolutely fantastic place! Friendly and courteous staff.. Rooms are quite spacious.. only thing I missed was a mini fridge which I would have expected in a 4 ⭐ hotel. Had a sea facing room with a breath taking view!! The place was getting decorated for Christmas and you could definitely feel the festive atmosphere all around.. Highly recommend for a getaway from the city hustle bustle.. great place to simply relax and destress..
Ample parking available. You can walk down to the sea shore.. the hot tub and pool are available to use day long.. didn't try the spa but it was highly recommended by other patrons if you are keen for getting one done..
S. C.Lovely hotel over looking Galway Bay. Nice swimming pool with sauna, steam room, outside hot tub. Restaurant and bar food, very comfortable space actually and relaxed enough. I didn't eat on the restaurant but overheard some excellent comments on the food quality (late July 2021). I haven't stayed in the rooms for years so cannot comment on that but the rest of the hotel is on very nice shape indeed.

A. G.What a beautiful hotel. Quite classic and almost majestic with great entrance and foyer. I managed also to get a room that was huge and with an outstanding view thanks to a big window that gives straight over the sea. It has a quite decent continental and international breakfast.
C. C.Stayed here last Saturday with my family - 11 of us in 5 rooms. There's a lovely pub/restauraunt a 20 minute walk up the road beside a gorgeous beach. Had dinner in the restauraunt of the hotel and a few drinks in the lobby afterwards (bar was full but looked amazing with live music). We also used the pool and outdoor hot tub. Only regret is we didn't have enough time to make use of all the facilities. :) Food was delicious. Everyone had different meals and all were happy! Staff were super nice and so helpful and made our stay so lovely!!! Would defo stay again. `Rooms were spotless and my brother and his wife had the suite which had a balcony and a view of the sea. Breakfast was nice - buffet style. Not enough eggs made though but typical Irish everyone was in at he last minute! ;)

D. T..Hotel location is fabulous for the scenery. Lovely view from room, good size room carpet was stained, bathroom door dirty and covered in dust. But hotel is a bit tired, stained carpets freying carpets in public areas. Evening meal the food was not good,( veg side mash potatoes in bowl with various veg on top piled like a volcano you couldn't get to the mash) the risotto was like mushy peas... The breakfast OMG was the worst I've had in a hotel the hot food was dry and hard, eggs like a Frisbee. The fruit salad was just apple that was brown, there was no choice of yogurt flavours just plain in 1 large bowl free for all. Asked for poached eggs nxt day there was so much vinegar you could not eat them.. Last bit not least the bar or the eating area was too small. There was nowhere to have a evening drink after your meal. There was a large group from Englang who walked around the hotel with no masks on and we not asked to put on face coverings. It was quiet uncomfortable when everyone else was wearing coverings. The hotel lacks atmosphere no nice roaring fire or cosy little areas.

F.Stayed here for one night and I'm sorry to say it was not all I has hope it would be.The room was lovely but the takeaway cups for tea/coffee(I am aware this is Covid related but still) had to call up reception for extra pillows,tea,coffee etc should be all in the room as standard. Breakfast in my opinion was disappointing and not great quality of food,Certain milk etc not labelled so you have no idea whats what. The staff lovely and friendly but wasn't what I had expected for I'm 4 star hotel. The best part of out trip was curry restaurant down the road in Bearna which was the best curry we have ever eaten.

A. B.Just getting ready to check out after a fabulous 3 night stay. Gorgeous hotel with great facilities, came with our 2 teenage daughters and they loved it too. What stands out most in this hotel is the staff, so attentive and cannot do enough for you. I would go as far as saying that out of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in the Staff here are head and shoulders above anyone else. The rooms are modern and beds so comfortable. Food is delicious. There is not one aspect of the hotel that I could give a negative comment to. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to return.

The staff were especially kind and helpful and our 5 night stay was most enjoyable. We intend to return very soon once again to enjoy the welcome and indeed the excellent food.

H. O.This place was a total find. Beautiful hotel just out from barna. We ate all meals in the hotel and the food was delicious. The staff were so friendly And the room was beautiful, modern but so tasteful with very good quality linen and towels and a gorgeous modern shower. We had a 5 year ols with us and she loved the novelty of the library upstairs as well as the pool. We used the pool every day also which has a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna and outdoor hot tub with a sea view. They have a children’s playground and tennis courts. This hotel has thought of everything and we can’t wait to go back.

We asked to have breakfast outside which was not set up for breakfast and staff went out of their way to accommodate this. The only thing I would say is the menu for bar food could be upgraded but the food was good all the same. Will definitely stay here again. S. C.The hotel is in a beautifully scenic location. The staff were friendly and so accommodating to any requests we had. The leisure facilities were lovely especially the outdoor hot tub with gorgeous views. The breakfast was delicious and dinner in the hotel restaurant was lovely. The room itself was rough around the edges with chipping paint and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the heating was quite noisy too and made the room too hot but we couldn't find a way to turn it off.

A. C.The Connemara Coast Hotel is worthy of 5 stars. I have just attended a wedding hosted by the hotel and I truly cannot praise the hotel enough.From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly,attentive and professional. The hotel was spotless.The bedrooms were magnificent,freshly renovated and offered unobstructed sea views of Galway Bay and The Burren. The wedding meal was superb and once again the staff were fantastic.
While the hotel was well ventilated it was also beautifully cosy and warm.
I wish to highly recommend this hotel,its staff and its location.
None of us felt compromised as social distancing and compliance was completely adhered at all times.
During these difficult times for us all going through this pandemic,I want to commend the staff at this hotel for their respect for us all and their spirit when they are closing their doors for the third time in 9 months.
Looking forward to 2021 and visiting your lovely hotel once again.

The staff we are all so kind and accommodating, being vegan wasn't an issue here and the views are spectacular. One of the receptionists gave us a tip to head down to dogs bay for a swim and I honestly think that was the nicest beach I've ever been to in Ireland. R. C.New Year's Eve wedding 2020 Covid style with 25 guests. There has been a huge investment since we were last here. The grounds, the rooms and the reception were top notch. The view is unreal. I would highly recommend this hotel.
L. C.We just spent 3 nights in this hotel we can say the staff in the reception and bar,breakfast area were excellent. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was a complete disaster a major disappointment we expected a fine dining experience and it was not so .I would recommend the management train the staff better, the menu was poor the waitresses asked us were we wairing long then could not find our meals, they said they were busy there was only afew couples in the restaurant and a couple across from us were complaining about there meal. I had the stake it was supposed to be a 10 ounze no way. for the price i asked for chips they 3 .50 EXTRA .We had bar food another night my wife had the steak and it came with chips and the meals were alot cheaper better value. This hotel does not maks 4 stars for us a table cloth in the breakfast area had ahole in it and a tea pot and no handle on the lid very low standards for a 4 star hotel in our opinion so much for a staycation very disappointing, Leo Clarke.

We were glad to be accommodated at short notice for our evening meal, in these covid times. But choice was limited. The food in the bar looked good but it was on a first come basis and the queue was too long. Would stay here again.

They are working under difficult circumstances at the moment with all the restricitons in place. All staff were very helpful and couldn't be more friendly. The only slight downside was no wifi in the bedroom. From reading other reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue. I will stay here again.

S.Amazing stay here last weekend. Wished we stayed longer! Immediately when we arrived we were warmly welcomed by more than one staff member and made feel super important - offered a complimentary drink while we waited for our room even though we were early. We relaxed in the beautiful lobby before heading up to our complimentary upgraded room which was gorgeous - amazing view, very clean and comfortable. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, food was great in both the bar and restaurant and atmosphere throughtout was lovely. Overall had a very memorable stay for all the right reasons!

We stayed 2 nights and were lucky enough to get a sea facing room, which was large enough and very clean.
Views were incredible, staff were very attentive. We even had someone carrying linen last is on the hall wish us a pleasant stay.
Hotel was having it's heating upgraded so the room and restaurant was a little warmer than it should have been but that was a minor thing.
Went to the gym/pool 3 times and found it very clean, never over full and had everything i needed.
Breakfast was nice, they had the usual cereals, continental and cooked breakfast available. They also had a pancake machine where you just press a button and 2 fresh pancakes came out with honey, syrup and Nutella available. I'm glad i went to the gym so many times!
We walked along the rocky beach, access direct from the hotel.
We ate twice there, once in the attached pub and in the restaurant and no complaints, very reasonably priced too.

J. B.I stayed here for a weekend conference at the beginning of March 2019. It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were some of the friendliest and most professional that I've come across. The porter, in particular, was exceptional. He was genuinely welcoming and was attentive to every need. Nothing was too much for him. You really felt that you were being looked after; a very important thing when you are away from home. The food and rooms were also of a very high standard. You will not be disappointed.

Quite busy given the current global situation, but they have reasonable restrictions in place to make your stay feel safe but not spoiled. Lovely service. Sufficient parking. Spacious rooms. We are considering planning our wedding here, but the food would put me off, so hopefully something is done to improve the standard.
The scenery is breathtaking and the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff can't do enough for you; it's just the food that let's it down.

It shouldn't be the norm to wait 1 hour for my dinner. It's simply ridiculous. That's the only reason I didn't give more stars. Otherwise my stay would be more enjoyable.
D. T.This Hotel has been an amazing gateway for me and my girlfriend during the valentines period. The staff have been absolutely fantastic!! The hotel itself is very well maintained and looks beautiful as you walk in. The rooms have been great too everything was spotless the WiFi was amazingly fast, it was exactly as advertised in the picture the food was great too but slightly expensive. pub was great crack and really had the vibe of a traditional Irish pub mixed with modern design . We were left very well amazed of how great the experience at connemara has been and are looking forward to returning in the summer. Thanks everyone at connemara you guys have been fantastic.

Beds were comfortable, but carpets in the room felt dirty, the bathroom was very dated, it's a long time since I've seen a hot and cold tap on a sink not a mixer tap. The tv was large and modern.
The restaurant food was fine, there was not huge selection on the Sunday lunch menu, the service was slow. The breakfast was good though, my kids loved the new pancake machine which a large tub of nutella beside it was a huge hit.
The family facilities are good. The pool, the tennis courts and the playground were popular.

V. V.Loved our stay here. The hotel is undergoing a refurb at the moment and we were given one of the refurbed rooms which were lovely. The hotel is spacious with lots of places to escape too outside of your room. There is a new playground area and a short walk to the sea as well as some tennis courts and leisure centre.
A bar and on the Saturday night we had love Irish music too.
Breakfast was fine though best to get in early.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, the restaurant manager in particular went out of her way to make sure our kids had enough food and enough of a variety every morning, even offering us things that weren't necessarily on the menu. The location is excellent too, a really good base for exploring Connemara. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough for a family holiday, we will definitely be back!

it has some pretty stellar views of the sea so landscape photographers take note, and the staff are all genuinely really nice and friendly.
There are wheel Chair accessible rooms all of which (to my knowledge) have wonderful views of the sea, really all of them do but I highlight that users of those rooms wouldn't be losing out or compromising.
There's also a bar, restaurant and leisure centre with indoor swimming pool and a small gym

With the up and down and up staircases (think about those suitcases), and the really heavy doors everywhere, it's like you have to fight something all the time. Breakfast a bit messy. But it was anyway a really good place with a romantic atmosphere. Pool inside. And a great location to roam around.

I returned here to celebrate new year after being here for the first time in Oct 2019.. it says a lot about the hotel when a customer returns 3 times in six months.. I’m looking forward to seeing you all for Paddy’s weekend.
P. M.Stayed there 4 nights. On one day we went out to do a bit of sightseeing and was surprised to discover our bedroom door unlocked when we arrived back, not closed after room serviced. Also I know the changing area for the pool was being renovated, but changing in 6x8 "cupboard" with 4 other people is not great. And then that evening I went to reception to ask for the little milk portions, I was told they would be bought to my room. 30 mins later I returned to the reception to ask again and after a couple of minutes searching was told they were locked in a cupboard and they had no key for it.

j.We are staying at the Connemara coast hotel and it is such a wonderful cozy feel. We were given two superior rooms with direct view of Galway bay / the burren and the Atlantic Ocean. Rooms are cozy, bed is very comfortable. Service is professional and very friendly and very personal, coming from the heart. Food is delcious, we booked half board. There is lots to choose from at breakfast, we ate both in the bar and in th gallery restaurant. Their is a leisure center in the hotel which is great. It’s my 3rd stay here and I would highly recommend and I would keep on coming. A perfect comfortable stay all round.

the room was ok the windows was fogged on one side we had a view of the sea but we also had a view of the rooms opposite us could do with some bit of a light curtain just to block out prying eyes .my one pet hate is shower curtains and this bathroom had one I must say for it must have been one of the worst bathrooms I have seen in a hotel paint was cracking and peeling of the wall over the shower area the shower was great to look at I didn't encourage you to shower and we stayed for 2 nights you can see in the pics I attached . then breakfast on the first morning we had to wait in.line to be seated for 10 to 15 mins .not good enough I must a nd it might be busy but should have had more staff on tables not been cleared fast enough it was the same in the bar we tried to sit down to watch the rugby and the only place to sit was at tables that had not be cleared when I counted 4 tables that day .now back to breakfast when we sat down for breakfast it was a lovely breakfast on the Sunday morning. but breakfast on the Monday more no waiting but I was very disappointed with it full Irish it was not burned dry roast potato six burnt cherrie tomatoes puddings saggy and one one saugage and burnt toast . I must say over all my wife and i where very disappointed it had been a birthday present from our kids for my wife what waste of there money .I don't think we will be back

C.Stayed here with my partner on the 30th of September, apon checking in was met by a lovely gentleman who put us at ease as advised us of where to go as it was our first time here ,I booked the couple getaway which included an upgraded room, this blew me away on how nice it was , when we stayed we had dinner in the hotel , the menu could be updated to suit everyone's needs as it quite limited at the moment , when we finished dinner i payed as per normal , apon checking out of the hotel the following day I was given a breakdown of my bill which included the dinner and that this amount would be billed to my credit card ,I advised the very polite lady that I had already payed for the dinner on the night as she was unaware of this as the dinner was showing unpaid , I gave the lady proof of payment as this issue was sorted and the lady apologised for this error , I would stay here again
