Very friendly staff and great breakfast, traditional English or rather Irish I should say, as well as fruit options with cereals, nice juices, good coffee machines. The crew is very helpful also with extra wishes. Room was nice, clean and well maintained. Getting to the city is either by taking the bus (3 minute walk) or by walking all together (10 minutes) walk. I visited a concert at 3Arena and the bus left almost right at the hotel so it saved me from paying for a taxi. I would def. come again. Also the kids loved it. Good job Aloft Dublin City.

We stayed for my partners birthday and thanks to the Aloft, it made it a super special weekend. The staff were so friendly, the hotel was modern and very clean. We had dinner the first night in the Tenters restaurant and the food was so lovely. My only two issues would be our view, which was facing into student accommodation behind the hotel, and the breakfast, which didn’t have much selection. But nonetheless, we would definitely come back again!

This hotel is new, clean, well equipped and has very friendly staff members.
Rooms were spotless and the upstairs bar was really lovely. The hotel is located in a very quite area but is within easy walking distance of Temple bar, Leeson St etc. Apart from checking in, getting drinks at the bar and saying hello to security personnel I had very little dealing with hotel staff really but I found everyone to be exceptionally friendly to each other and to their guests.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff, accommodations, and dining were absolutely amazing! Upon our arrival, the staff set the tone for our family’s visit to Dublin, a life-long dream. The Dublin Aloft management team & Marriott Corporation are represented in the best possible way by you Dublin team. Our family will be returning to Dublin in the future, and the Aloft is where we intend to stay. We will recommend Aloft to all of our friends who are planning visits to Dublin. Thank you very much for everything - What a tremendous value!!!!

The loveliest staff that greeted us with a smile every day and made us feel so welcome. The hotel is right in the middle of Dublin yet has a private feel to it. The decor is cool and relaxed and the hotel is spotless clean. We had dinner in the Gastropub and the food was delicious, the service was again so welcoming and accommodating. The 7th floor bar gives a wrap around view of Dublin. This is also where breakfast is so you can eat and enjoy the spectacular views. Thank you for making our stay a great one and we will be back in the future. Tine and Eric

We found the hotel to be conveniently located to all of the major attractions. The morning breakfast was well prepared and maintained. We very much enjoyed the selection. The guest rooms were well m,Ai trained and everything functioned well. …

Aloft Hotel in Dublin is a great spot for a couple to get away. Reception being on the 7th floor was a bit confusing but this was easily overlooked as the layout of the reception/bar was beautiful. The room itself was very well laid out and …

The hotel it's splendid, the room was very nice and clean, the staff very kind and the bar and restaurant excelent. We gonna keep on our list for the future accomodation. I will definetly recommend this hotel.

Again, don’t judge the Aloft brands vs the US - Europe’s is much better: bed was brilliant, brekkie was amazeballs and the views from the highest floor!!! Wow?
I. L.
Nice hotel in a great location. Colourful decor. Give yourself plenty of time for checking out. First problem is lifts very busy at midday as reception is on the top floor. Also gets very busy as exit is on ground floor. Very busy lift because two trips instead of one like in a normal hotel.
A.
Brand new hotel, extremely clean and equipped with every comfort. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the center, in a very quiet neighborhood. It has a very nice restaurant and bar. highly recommended
M.
Great value for money. Really comfy beds and spacious rooms. Overall great experience! Still however some teething problems with the organisation of the breakfast but nothing major.
K. T.
Amazing staff, all very friendly. Rooms are brilliant, shower is very strong so feel so clean afterwards! Breakfast was nice also.
M. S.
Lovely place to stay. Within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops. Good distillery right next door too.
N. M.
The only issue with the hotel is the view from room's window... there is nothing to see, most of the rooms are facing student's hostel and its very close!!

Stayed here for my first trip to Ireland back in February and had a great stay! Super clean and comfortable room. Great views of the city from the top floor where the check in desk and bar are located. The room itself was spacious, with a desk, armchair, big bathroom, nice modern glass shower, plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner dispensers built right into the bathroom wall, and a Nespresso (my favorite part)!
Awesome service too. I was in Germany for work, and my boyfriend was home in the US and we were planning to meet at the airport in Dublin with flights arriving close to each other. We then planned to find a pub to grab some drinks and food and wait until check in time. Long story short, his flight from the US was majorly delayed and I found myself arriving alone and eager to get some rest. I decided to just go directly to the hotel and see if I might be able to check in early, figuring I could always kill some time at the hotel bar or even just drop off my bags with the desk and go explore the area on my own if not. I was super pleased that I was in fact able to check in and access my room early and thought the desk staff was super friendly and kind!
I've seen some reviewers saying they thought this hotel was out of the way and hard to find. While it's definitely not right in the city center, the center and all its sites, bars, and restaurants is just a 10ish minute walk away, which is why we picked this hotel. It was nice having a quiet area to return to at night to get some sleep, and the walk to the different attractions we wanted to see each day allowed us to see some more of the city we otherwise would have. The Teeling distillery is super close, like a 3 minute walk, and we did a great tour and tasting there. It was great to have such a short walk back to the hotel after. There's also a cute little restaurant/bar right on the corner near the hotel, which is where I grabbed my first meal after arriving and where we stopped for a last late night drink a couple of times during our trip. Staff there was kind and attentive and drinks and food were great! As far as being hard to find, that wasn't my experience at all. As a tourist there for the first time, I grabbed one of the buses from the airport to downtown, planning to get off at a stop close to the hotel. Maybe I read the bus route wrong, got on the wrong bus, or there was a detour, but the bus began veering off course from where I thought it was going to go (I was keeping an eye on Google Maps on my phone to know where to get off). I decided to just get off at the next stop and find my way on foot to the hotel. I used Google Maps of course, but had no issue finding the hotel!
All in all, we had a great trip to Dublin and credit Aloft with providing a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable place to stay. Kind and accommodating staff, quiet area, and not far from all the excitement of the city center.

Second stay at an aloft hotel and will be returning to another again. The concierge service from the men on the ground floor was amazing, so friendly and helpful. Very chatty, sorting daily taxis and great tips for the city. The upstairs bar is good, nice staff. The reception wasn’t the most helpful/friendly. Rooms were spotless, modern, big and good tv/coffee machine. Large good bathroom, only problem is bathroom doesn’t close properly so privacy was slightly limited. Great stay, thank you.
W.
The Aloft was a very clean, comfortable, and modern hotel. From the exterior, to the lobby, to the rooms, to the bar everything is hip and modern. We spent both nights at the WXYZ Bar and enjoyed it a lot. The Wings were very delicious …
K. W.
Excellent location and great hotel overall.
J.
My first stay at the ALOFT Dublin. A real gem. Sparkling clean in room and general areas. Rooms really well equipped. Internet great. Staff were a delight. Good value and good location for the city. I got a late feed in the Gastro Pub on the ground floor which was very nice too. I did not take breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment on that.

My husband and I stayed here while we were in Dublin for a couple days before heading off to Scotland and I am extremely happy we stayed here. The location is absolutely perfect and in walking distance to so many attractions - St. Patrick's …

I booked The Aloft Dublin City hotel because it was part of Marriott and it’s location. From check in to checkout we had a wonderful experience. Very comfortable room beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. The service was top notch, loved the restaurant downstairs which I think has the best fish and chips. The location is excellent just across the street from Teeling distillery and a 7 min walk to several Hop on Hop off stops. Also a 12 min walk to one of Dublin’s oldest pubs The Brazen Head. So next time your in Dublin stay at the Aloft Dublin City.
C.
I booked this hotel for my partners birthday, hoping it would be the best hotel yet! I was very disappointed when it came to the service and promised things that didn’t happen. I was promised something for the room for when we arrived for my partners birthday and there was nothing! We got given cocktails which didn’t taste nice at all, just seemed to of been put together. I then also tried to get room service and was told I had to come get it myself. Lovely hotel, very modern and not to far from the city centre, but would not rate this 4 stars!
N. O.
In a great little neighborhood with all sort of quirky shops and things to explore. Then you're literally a stones throw from the vinyl centre. Hotel still looks brand new and the staff are very friendly and helpful.. all in all (especially with the current rates) 5 out of 5

After living in Ireland for many years a while ago it’s fantastic to see the progression in the hospitality business. Dublin is one the cities that has very little to offer in relation to decent accommodation unless you pay a fortune for a luxury hotel. You guys are taking a brilliant part and making a difference. Well done. Outstanding service. Keep up!
J.
Great place to stay in Dublin for a day or two. Very modern and spacious rooms. Lacking in the touches that say "unpack and stay awhile". If you don't mind living out of a suitcase, it's a great place to stay. …
L. K.
Service is spectacular, nice breakfast included. The only reason for 4 stars is location, it’s more towards where locals live and a little bit more of a hike than some in city center . It’s very comfortable though and pretty! Nice terrace views near bar. If traveling with kids or have already walked a great deal, consider a taxi. It is so new be prepared to tell your driver which street it’s located on.

When I book with Marriott I try and use points as I have been a long term Marriott Rewards member. Dublin has become an expensive city to stay in so we definitely try and stay on points. The Shelbourne is nice but very expensive and costly …

I love Aloft Hotels. They are a hip and fun brand within the Marriott family. A bit quirky in some respects, but it mixes things up. This property is squarely in the college student housing area, with some new commercial and industrial points of interest around. It's not a great place if you want to be in the thick of things for nightlife, but that's just a $6 uber ride away. And you will get a nice tucked away place to hang out and sleep. The rooftop bar is fantastic. Truly a differentiated place. The views from up there are worth the stay on their own merit. Service was outstanding. They went out of their way for us on a couple things. My only complaint is that it is a NOISY place on weekends. I can handle city street noise. This is another level of noise. There were students partying outside that might have well been in the floor lobby. And the denizens inside on the weekend are just as loud and obnoxious partying 12 people to a room till crack of dawn. Not great when you have a 7am flight to catch. When I called it in finally, mgmt took care if it quickly. Lastly, the restaurant on 1st floor is very very good food, service, and decent value. All in all, great place...just be mindful of weekend stays. Oh, be sure to say hello to the robot and help him out when in the elevator.

First time staying at an Aloft branded property but it won’t be the last. Location was excellent, a quick 10 minute walk to shopping, restaurants and attractions. The terrace was a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the city …
T.
Location was close to top attractions, staff was helpful, and the room was comfortable
J.
Hotel is modern and sleek. Location was convenient to sights, restaurant, and pubs.
Staff was excellent. Check in and out was convenient and quick. Rooms were spacious and had all the amenities including robes and slippers.
Great stay and would definitely go back!

Clean room and friendly staff. nice roof top bar.

Keith was very helpful and friendly at check in to Aloft. Check In was smooth and we felt immediately comfortable and liked the look of the lobby. We learned quickly when we thought the elevator was broken that you have to use your room key card to make it work. A young couple showed us and we shared a good laugh. We may not be the generation Aloft was created for but we’re quick learners and we really liked the layout of the hotel.
Great room. On the small side but big enough and love the amenities.
The room has a great walk in shower, super comfortable bed on the softer side, good lighting, tea, a Nespresso machine and an in room safe. Anca was wonderful to us when we went for dinner. We hadn’t eaten since early in the morning and we’d driven in the pouring rain for hours from Port Ballintrae in North Ireland. She was the ultimate professional but so friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and while the menu is limited, there is something for most everyone with brisket for meat eaters, a few vegetarian choices, salads and soups. We weren’t drinking, but there was a menu full of cocktail options and of course, Irish beer and whiskey. There is a fantastic view of Dublin from the dining area on the 7th floor.
Also, the Hop on Hop Off bus stopped down the block and around the corner across from the entrance of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery. We enjoyed seeing the city and choosing where to stop and walk. So much to do and see in Dublin.
We were hesitant to try this new hotel in The Liberties, but are pleased to say we truly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this hotel.
A.
The housekeeping is un-attentive.
Smart tv had no internet. Called to complain no one picks up the phone at the front desk. No bath amenities were kept on 2nd day. …

The pros: We were traveling from the States and the staff was extremely accompanying. They were able to put us in a room very quickly. The staff also brought us a baby crib very quickly and it was perfect for our baby. We also found the gym very well equipped and used it a few times during our stay
The cons: We used points for our stay for 2 rooms and we certainly got put in somewhat sub par rooms. The first room was next to a very noisy maintenance room and the second room had a buzzing sound in the outlet that was very annoying. We also had 2 occasions when, despite having the “do not disturb” sign on, that two attendants came into the room (they immediately left). We also didn’t quite understand the design of the shower, it got water everywhere in the bathroom! In general, we find alofts not great for families but we knew that going in.
L.
Everything was better than I could imagine. Clean and spacious. Awesome amenities and great staff!!
M.
It took much longer than expect to print out my Boarding Pass because there was no printer. No greeting to Marriott Elite member when checking in. The location was a little far from the City Center and you need to walk a few miles to get to the nearest bus stop. However the room was clean and bed was comfortable.
K.
This was our first time at an Aloft and we were quite impressed. Breakfast was very top tier with beautiful pastries, lovely slice your own bread, fresh fruit and just gorgeous coffee. VERY QUIET and darkening blinds with excellent bed.
P. w.
Oooh! The bar on the top floor is absolutely gorgeous!!! Only had a lager, five lamps (?) there's no Carlsberg but this was grand really, quite nice. Good service, amazing views over the city, was there at a club meeting midweek so no idea what kind of vibe would be there on a night out but I liked it!!
B. M.
Newer hotel. We arrived early in the morning due to our flight time and staff were very accommodating for us getting us s ol me coffee to stay awake and some recommendations for things to do until our room was ready. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
We were able to street park our car for free since it was on a Sunday. However, cars have to be moved by 7AM Monday. This was a helpful tip to save 35 euros compared other nearby parking options. However this depends on what day of the week you're staying.
At the price point I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Dublin.
R. F.
Nice new hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and have nice views. The one downside is that it's a bit of a walk to most places, however definitely manageable.
C. Z.
I loved my stay at Aloft Dublin! I do have to say, the only negative was trying to find transportation from the airport- no shuttle service or bus stop nearby. The closest bus stop from the airport bus was about a 7 minute walk, impossible to do with luggage in tow.
Anyway, the check in process is easy, just head up to the 7th floor. Afterwards, they give you two keys and give you your room. (I do wish they explained more the room service- only pizza or breakfast- more which you have to pick up from the bar, how much breakfast is and what times, their restaurant, and even the need for ice. I wasn't told any of this and did not want to bother. I did end up ordering a pizza on my first night due to being tired, it was ready within 5 minutes and I had to get dressed again to go get it lol.
There are the room pictures, it really is a beautiful room. I absolutely loved the hanging painting above the bed. I forgot to ask if they sell a poster of it. Would still buy it!
Also! Housekeeping here is top notch. Loved how they always clean the room, even after saying no thanks in the morning, they came back when I was out(do not disturb was NOT put out) and did my bed, added toiletries, and fixed up the tea station. I will be heading back to Dublin next year since it is my FAVORITE city and i will be staying here once again!

Great place to stay for a non traditional hotel.
D. T.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay staff were lovely views amazing from the bar on the 7th floor .
The rooms are so well laid out and the most comfortable bed ever.
B.
The property was well appointed and the staff was very friendly. The bar area on the 7th floor was special with a great view. The rooms were clean and the bathroom and shower were wonderful.
J.
The hotel was nice, it met our expectations and serviced our needs. The location was fine for Dublin city touring. The upstairs bar was an excellent place to unwind at the end of the day.
L. E.
Nice hotel. Clean, good location, good amenities, friendly staff, etc. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel during the day but the breakfast was good and the bar at night had some good views of Dublin.
C.
The hotel was lovely, the room clean and spacious, modern bar and lounge area. It's not so close to the city center so the value of money wasn't that good for me. Everything else perfect.
K. H.
Very nice rooms with great views. Check in is on the 7th floor with aweome stocked bar with everthing you would want. 10 min walk to the Temple Bar District. Teeling Whiskey Distillery as well Liberties Distillery is a 2 min walk from this Hotel.
T. k.
We decided to just come here for a drink as we had heard great things, went up the lift to the 7th floor to the roof top bar, and we had amazing views of Dublin city, it was really nice, chilled out and there were a few board games there so enjoyed a game of chess with our drinks!! Will be back again soon!
A.
Excellent hotel with style and a minimalist approach to design. Spotless and comfy rooms with excellent television and choices. Staff helped me as I left something in my room and immediately took care of it.
M.
The Aloft was an excellent choice for me. I have stayed in Dublin often and never sleep well due to bar noise from surrounding and hotel bar. Slept soundly. Hotel has a bar, but i heard nothing.
K.
The room was in a bad shape despite the hotel being farly new. Cracked mirror, out of order minibar and blinds hard to open. But the location was good, the service was good and the bar staff super.
J.
Aloft location is a little outside of downtown but it offers a midpoint to most attractions. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with attractions and directions. Great price, clean and the reception area offers a 360 degree of Dublin
D.
Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms
M. O. C.
Wonderful hotel in every aspect.
Stayed last Fri. and Sat.
Very friendly staff... from Noel on the door to Shauna on the front desk.
Loved Tenters too.
Thank you all.
We will return.
M. B.
Decently-sized rooms and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to most major Dublin attractions from this location as well.
B. B. T.
rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. contrary to the reviews though, i didnt quite like the location, its a bit off the main area of Dublin, you have to walk 15mins
C.
This hotel is fairly new. It’s close to downtown area and is walkable. Great location that’s why I chose it. Their WXYZ bar is very modern, has an outdoor area that overlooks the city.
T. D. R.
Great service and friendly staff. Very well situated in the heart of the Dublin.
I.
Aloft was a great place to wrap up our Ireland holiday. Nice room, friendly staff. Would highly recommend staying here.

My 1st, impression wasn't the best, but after spending the night. It was a nice stay. After checking out I realized my charger was left. Went back a week later and they had it put aside for me. Thank you housekeeping.
T. R.
Conveniently located in Dublin's Liberties area, this is a great base from which to explore the city. Hope to return to Dublin soon and will not hesitate to book the Aloft Hotel City Centre again.
T.
Not the best Marriott I have been to by a long way. Not having a gift shop or ATM is not good. The menu could have offered more in the bar area
C. M.
Great spot, well located and convenient to Dublin city centre
O. I.
Stayed for 4 nights, I was on the 3rd floor. Right opposite the hotel is student accommodation, there was a party on the ground floor of that building which was very noisy (music) and finished at 11pm fortunately on the Sunday night.
The rooms are large with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom/shower.
Breakfast had the usual things that you could expect but was tasty.
The pub next to / on the ground floor of the hotel was nice and quiet / cosy. The food was tasty with a small and basic menu, the price was okay.
The gym has the basics in terms of equipment, though it isn't a particularly pleasant place to be.. compared to the rest of the hotel it feels a bit of a hole.
The location isn't in the centre of the city but not a far walk, though I wouldn't say it's the most pleasant area.

Recently stayed here on a trip to Ireland with my family and a tour group. I knew going in that this wouldn't be my ideal hotel considering that I don't like minimalist design, but there was much more than that to dislike. As a vegetarian, I found a the breakfast selection to be disappointing. The safe in my room was locked when I went to use it and there was no tea/coffee maker in my room. Ironically, there was a minibar which I didn't care about anyway. In fact, the restaurant downstairs and the bar upstairs both had an excellent liquor selection (I did not expect that I would be able to get a caipirinha in Ireland). On the bright side, the staff were friendly, my room was clean, and the hotel was in a convenient location.
L. P.
Such a great hotel.
I did a late check in and the gents at the reception were extremely kind.
The rooms and structure are super beautiful and organized.
The breakfast was amazing. Everything with top quality.

We stayed at Aloft recently. The room was very pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. But beware of the mini-bar! I removed two bottles of beer and a can of soda in order to put a bottle of wine in to chill. I then saw a notice in very small print near the bottom of the door that we would be charged automatically for any items removed. I put the bottles and can back in but we were billed 40 Euros on our credit card after we left. I was a bit cross about this but we received a refund on the card without even asking so I'm very pleased that it came out ok. Next time I'll ask for ice.

Slightly tucked away this is a gem of a hotel just off central Dublin. You can easily walk to most major sites/restaurants in less than 20 minutes. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Only tiny critique was that the bathroom sliding door would not stay shut. Highly recommend when considered accommodations in Dublin.
B. O.
Aloft is a very pleasant hotel slightly out from Dublin City centre. The rooms and the breakfast were excellent. The staff were efficient and friendly. There is a very nice sitting out area near reception on the 7th floor.
w. c.
It's a pretty new hotel. Check in is on the 7th floor. Ground floor is 0 in the elevators in Dublin. Nice view on this top floor where the bar and breakfast restaurant is. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate machine throughout the day, even if you are not paying for breakfast or if it isn't included in your booking. Rooms are smaller than US Aloft hotels, but are nice. No microwave or mini fridge for guest usage (the mini fridge is their vending machine). In-room Nespresso machine and electric kettle is handy. Carpeted floors. Walking distance to student dormitories. The Tannery run by Yugo is right next door. Walking distance to a Tesco Express (visible from our room on the 5th floor). Also a couple of whiskey distilleries are walking distance, as are pubs and eating places not on hotel property.

Where do I start? This hotel punches way above its Aloft weight. Excellent service, an incredible rooftop, relaxed neighborhood vibe, and a spacious room. We are excited to return to Dublin just to stay at the Aloft again. There are so many activities within a quick walk or bus ride, including nearby Kavanagh’s pub with excellent Guinness stew. The Aloft rooftop bartenders poured the perfect Guinness and Irish coffee. Can’t wait to go back!
D. H.
An excellent choice when size of room and price are considered, house keeping is at highest quality I have seen, valet parking services are excellent too. Breakfast is less than average and location is not the best.
J. T.
We had a great 2 night stay. Although the vibe is the same, everything is of better quality compared to the alofts we have stayed at in the US.
They also had a lot of staff who were happy to help us. They gave us an early check in and check out. Highly recommend!
A. M.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very modern and eclectic hotel! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm and friendly hospitality. Damian is funny, professional and informative! He suggested a number of great places to visit including some wonderful pubs which did not disappoint.
The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The service is exceptional. We highly recommend Aloft and can’t wait until our next visit.
Cheers,
Nash and Anne-Marie

Fantastic clean hotel right in the heart of Dublin City. Minutes walking distance from local pubs, stores and even a very nice distillery. Stayed here for a week and would gladly stay here again!

Right smack in the middle of the luck
Damian and Amadou amongst others were so helpful and gave incredible recommendations like Devitts.
If you are in the area, this is a must!!!!
Great local hidden gems right around the corner
Fabulous place to stay

Appears to be part of Marriott’s chain.
Reception is on the 7 th floor for check in along with the longue and restaurant.
Rooms are in good condition with the essentials.

Really nice hotel. Can't really fault anything. Comfy and spacious rooms, great location and nice breakfast and great bar with amazing views of Dublin.
