Huge thanks to Manlou who is probably the most efficient bar man I’ve ever encountered. The Dylan are lucky to have such a great bar man. My friends and I had a super evening and all staff were exceptionally good. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely brunch with friends in the Eddison Restaurant. Lovely pancakes orange juice and coffee. Service and ambience were top notch. We were visited by the food and beverage manager who was very courteous and making sure we were happy with our meal, and kindly gave us a complimentary mimosa to round off our meal. Was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. It's the simple things that make a difference. Will return!

Special occasion - 26 years ago our wedding lunch was in The Dylan (then The Hibernian) - today food was still 5 star, delicious and superbly presented.

Went for afternoon tea. While the te was pleasant, nothing was top notch. It felt like they were surprised by our arrival, despite the booking, took 15 mins to work out where they wanted to sit us. The person who delivered the afternoon tea couldn't tell us which sandwiches were the ones I could eat with my allergies, just that it had been accommodated. Food was fine, but not spectacular and €7 for a bottle of sparkling water is over the top. Everything just felt a bit shambolic. This is the second time we've been here and the second time I've been underwhelmed. Unlikely to return.

An amazing experience!!! Great service and the room was beautiful with a lovely balcony. Very spacious. Definitely recommend.

Loved this hotel, highly recommend, very conviently located in a quiet area in Dublin City centre, will definitely be back...!

Great stay. Lovely welcome. Thanks for the coffee for the journey home. A nice touch.

We had a very spacious double room with nice decor. Great, big and comfortable bed. Two issues, rain shower didn't work well, and the drainage either, so that part wasn't enjoyable. Nice touch-Replica cosmetics.

Beautiful hotel..fabulous service. Staff cannot do enough. Room's exceptionally comfortable.

This place was such a pleasure to enjoy our time in Dublin. We walked from our hotel through the heart of Dublin. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Every morning I would get up and grab 2 Cappuccinos and an orange juice and the staff would escort me to the room with a tray. Steve the valet guy was so friendly and fun to talk with. My wife was so disappointed we were not coming back to stay here on our last night because we previously booked a hotel near the airport instead. Highly recommend.
G. M.
Extremely poor service...45mins waiting for breakfast...we had to leave without eating....
V. G.
Absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms have every amenity one could ask for. The beds and pillows were so luxurious, a perfect night’s rest every night! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Beautiful property in every way!
C. B.
Great service. Room was good sized. Bathroom floor was heated plus there was a heated towel rack. Water pressure was strong. Bed was a little firm but not bad. Great spot!

We stayed here for one night in June. The location is great - on a very quaint street across from a small park. It's removed enough to be quiet - with some nice pubs around the corner - but a close enough walk to the center of town as to not feel isolated. Definitely has a boutique feel - the entire staff was great, breakfast was excellent. The bar area is really charming as is the dining area. The whole premises have a great feel.
The rooms, at least ours, felt like it could have used a bit updating (we had room 211) - it didn't seem to match the quality of the rest of the property (or some of the pictures of nicer looking rooms we saw online) - but we were only staying the one night and I'm sure they have nicer rooms on the premises. This would be the one mark against it - the room we had didn't seem to match the rest of the experience, especially for the price. All in all though, seems a nice hotel and a solid choice when in Dublin.
A.
Cute little boutique hotel. Even though I booked for a single person and had a corporate rate they let my partner stay with me for free. Thank you so so much! The rooms were quiet, bed and pillows really comfy, free water and it's a nice walk away from the city or all major tech companies. Really loved the shower and the heated floor. Right around the corner are great breakfast places, stores, restaurants and pubs. Didn't have food but there is a beautiful restaurant and bar part of it. Plenty of space to sit outside or inside too. Really enjoyed it and prize was really good for Dublin.
T. K.
Didn't stay in the hotel, only had breakfast in their restaurant. The food is devine. Eggs Florentine were absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere (team breakfast). The only suggestion I have is for staff to not put the tea bags in the water, let customers do it. You never know how strong do customers like their tea.

Wonderful haven every Sunday night

Hotel was amazing. went for an event however I did get a cold sore off the glasses which I had for nearly 2 weeks. The food was so tasty and they served a great variety .

Lovely place. Quiet little cul de sac just a short walk from several good bars and restaurants. Very convenient for city centre, RDS, and Aviva stadium. Beautifully maintained facilities, very friendly and attentive staff. Great location for weddings and group events. Very comfortable for an afternoon coffee too. It's a gem!
E. N. A.
Serene communal surrounds in a beautiful shade of jade green. Lovely lunch of fresh fish, served by courteous staff. Chic bedrooms and slick bathrooms.
A. W. H.
Very nice hotel. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The service was very friendly and professional and the location of the Dylan hotel is good as you have several interesting restaurants and bars close by.
R. M.
Beautifully quaint. Lovely little hotel off of the main strip (Baggot Street Lower) so the neighborhood is quiet. Would recommend eating somewhere else. If you do the bar, go to the Ruby Room (right next to the main bar). Faster and better service than the main bar and a cozier scene. If you are part of a large group, The Ruby Room will be perfect. If you're by yourself, The Ruby Room will be perfect. Andre the bartender was excellent and he k ew his Scotch and Whiskey. If he is still there when you get there, ask for an Old Fashioned with Nikka Whiskey from the Barrel. You're Welcome :)

Great staff, lovely food and a really nice place to stay

What a special place! Friendly staff, beautiful building, and cozy rooms. I highly recommend the Dylan if you are in Dublin for work or pleasure. You will feel like this is a home away from home and the staff is always on hand to make your trip to Dublin easier.

The hotel's restaurant is very beautiful and elegant, the music is in vain and very nice and kind staff. Also, the food and bars are very tasty.

I walk by it every few days, don't have any experience in this fine establishment but know Kylie Minogue and celebrities have used it in the past, maybe some day I'll do a photoshoot in it or have a beer.

Had some enjoyable drinks before our Christmas party. Venue was good, but atmosphere was lacking.

A stunning hotel with amazing, courteous, friendly and professional staff. Special mention to the elegant French men, Adrian and Andy, for their impeccable service. Centrally located, with a superb restaurant, the hotel is steeped in history, and well worth a visit. Highly recommended!!!

(Translated) Nice hotel a little outside the city in a quiet area, within easy walking distance to central Dublin. Ideal if you do not want to live in the middle of the city which can be disturbing many times with nearby bars etc. Stayed in a Deluxe King room which was very nice and good size with nice decor and large fresh bathroom. Good bed and comfy pillows. The staff was friendly and was always available at the front desk.
The only negative was that the breakfast was quite expensive considering what you got. The buffet selection was fairly standard against what is customary at hotels in the UK. Had not bought breakfast in the reservation but tried it one morning. The hot part of the menu was good and cooked to order, but cost a little more. However, there are plenty of good breakfast places in town, so that didn't feel like a problem.

If you'd like a quiet place, tucked accessible but away from the center of Dublin, the Dylan is perfect.
The staff were warm and welcoming at every turn. The lounges and rooms were beautifully decorated. The food was a delight.
For international guests, various International plugs (asian and US) were available in the room and the front desk staff spoke multiple languages.
I originally booked through Chase's travel program and very much look forward to a future return.

Stay here for my trip in Dublin. The staff greeted them warmly when they checked in and helped to carry their luggage to the room. That night, the restaurant of the hotel was packed for activities. Although I could only have dinner at the bar, the service staff did not neglect me because of the activities. The price of dinner is more cost-effective than restaurants in London. The breakfast is also very delicious. In addition, the guest rooms of this hotel are very thoughtful, there are reminders to switch during winter time, and put the bathrobe and slippers in advance. Even from the perspective of location, it is impeccable. It is very convenient to go to many museums in Dublin, and you can walk there (the room also has a map). If I come to Dublin next time, I will also choose this hotel!
M. A. M.
This is my second time at Dylan, my gym crew and I met up for brunch, as previous time, food was awesome, we had a nice time sharing food and laughing outside of the gym.! Highly recommend it for other activities.

Stayed two nights at the Dylan during our stay in Dublin. It was a beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms and great staff. We had an early morning tour before breakfast and they packed us a takeaway bag for us to still have breakfast. I thought this was very personable. Would definitely stay again. It’s a sort of far walk from most of the restaurants and bars but highly reccomend.
B. C.
Well maintained 70 room boutique hotel in an active Dublin neighborhood. Incredibly accommodating and welcoming to us after a long overnight to flight. So far all is good!
J. M.
TOP NOTCH SERVICE!
The staff was So Welcoming and made you feel your were a Billionaire and we aren't.......LOL
I will DEFINITELY be returning to stay at The Dylan Hotel.
S. D.
When I select a high quality hotel for the experience, I do expect a high quality service with attention to detail - sadly the Dylan fell short. The rooms are ok though I’m not a fan of synthetic pillows.
Rooms 110 -113 are above the restaurant and the scraping of the chairs below is infuriating. A positive the breakfast is lovely.
K. N.
This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful neighborhood. It’s about a mile walk to the Temple Bar area. But we found the service to be outstanding. The food was very good. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Nespresso in our room was perfect. Boxed water is provided. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommended this boutique hotel in Dublin if you are interested in a quiet location and a beautiful setting.

Hidden gem of a hotel with wonderful staff, a cool terrace bar, and when The Boss is in town he has been known to frequent it...
G. B.
Our 2nd time staying in the Dylan and found the reception staff to be really helpful on arrival. Everything about the Dylan is fab from the decor in the public areas to the boutique rooms. Breakfast is a real treat with attentive staff, great coffee and strong tea. Shout out to Patrick who runs the Breakfast room exceptionally well. He is so gregarious, informative and keeps everything running as it should. Looking forward to returning very soon

Beautiful hotel with large rooms and a great breakfast!
A. M.
We started our trip in Dublin and I am delighted to say that The Dylan Hotel was the perfect place to begin our vacation. The rooms were quite large for a European hotel, the interior was beautiful, the bed was comfy, and that bathroom was so luxurious. I don't know how I can ever go back to floors that aren't heated. This is the only hotel we stayed at during our trip where the AC actually was adjustable. The staff was so friendly and even remembered small details about us and the breakfast was delicious. I ordered room service and, not only was it really quick, but the food was so tasty and a a big portion! They even came and cleaned our room twice a day. This was also located in a quieter part of town which we preferred. The view from our room wasn't the greatest (it was a alleyway) but everything else about this hotel made up for that. Would definitely come back and stay here again!
D. V.
Upscale, professional and a personal touch. Would recommend if you want to feel special.
I. C.
We stay 3 nights at the Dylan and our stay was marvelous! The attention from the young staff was outstanding. Thanks to Valeria and Ines to have make our stay so marvelous. Thanks for all the special attentions in our room. The service for the breakfast and diner was very warm and professional. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the bed. Will definitely stay at and highly recommend the Dylan hotel. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay and Happy New Year 2023 !!!
A. N.
I came here with my friends for brunch, we came late but the staff were kind enough to still avail us with the brunch menu, the valet service is also top notch, a very lovely environment, clean, comfy and cute.
The food was amazing, I had pancakes but only got 3, I made the waiter know that the portion size was small, the chef sent out another plate of pancakes, talk about customer service 👏🏿. My friends and I enjoyed our time here even when we got cold from sitting outside, we were offered a place to sit inside without the awkward and uncomfortable look of you need to buy something to still be here. The pricing is affordable and the staff were super nice and friendly. Highly recommend. 💯
A. G.
The Dylan hotel is truly magnificent. This is an exceptional place! The rooms are nicely appointed and elegantly decorated. There is an espresso machine in each room. So you can make your own coffee. There's also a small mini fridge and is prestocked with some beverages and snacks that are available for purchase. The room is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. The linens and pillows are top notch too. The staff is phenomenal. They have all the polish and professionalism that you would expect of a 5 star hotel. The Dylan is Dublin's only 5 star hotel. Patrick, who is The Matre' D, is fabulous, and his entire team takes great care of you when you're in the restaurant. The food is wonderful at the restaurant. There are a lot of creative dishes on their all-day menu. We dined in the Eddison restaurant for 3 morning s for breakfast. We also had the afternoon tea in the Ruby Room. Be sure to place your order and make a reservation for the afternoon tea at least 24 hours in advance. The dinner menu is phenomenal, featuring very creative chef driven recipes and an excellent wine selection. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the pub, lobby, or outside spaces. The neighborhood around Dylan is very walkable. 2 blocks over are small pubs, restaurants, a Tesco grocery store, and Boots Pharmacy. We strolled around the neighborhood each night. There is on street parking. Uber to central Dublin is about 10-12 Euros. The National Museum if Ireland is about 12 min walk. There is also a Big Bus Dublin hop on/off stop 10 mins away. From there you can see all the major sites from one bus line. We used the Go City pass and paid one low price to see everything. We will only stay at the Dylan when we return. The hospitality from the Dylan team really made our visit special.
A.
We visited the Dylan hotel in March of 2023. Sandra at the front desk welcomed us and was attentive to every aspect of our visit: Sandra provided recommendations for visiting in Dublin and even made sure that we had water when we were leaving! The room was fitted with modern amenities and even a US outlet. All the staff were very courteous and treated us as cherished visitors: what a pleasure and privilege! We would never hesitate to stay at the Dylan again; the Dylan is a bountiful welcome to Dublin.
A. E.
I had a wonderful experience here. From the beginning to the end of the stay! The staff went above and beyond always. One example is when we called for help to get the bath started and they brought bath salts ❤️. The hallways constantly had freshly lit candles. The food and cocktails were delicious. The ambiance was perfect!!! Not only this, but I loved the location. It was close enough to all the attractions but did not feel overwhelming as this hotel is tucked in a Victorian neighborhood. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a 5 star experience. Just keep in mind you may have a little walking to do to get to places like trinity college and temple bar.

Positive: Decor, cleanliness, friendly staff Negative: nope
M. B.
This is a gorgeous boutique hotel with all the amenities you need. The staff went really out of their way to ensure we had a good stay, including writing a birthday card for my husband! We were there off season so it was very quiet and we had the restaurant to ourselves on Sunday night. A gorgeous restaurant though!
J. B.
Stayed a couple of nights for business. Very good location about 15 minutes walk from Stephen’s Green. Decent boozer around the corner and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It’s on a side road and very quiet. I understand it used to be a hospital. The hotel itself is very nice and staff are well trained. Not sure I’d necessarily go for the breakfast again, but no complaints.
B. W.
Wow! Just wow! What a great boutique hotel in a fab location in South Dublin perfect as a base from which to explore the city! Very comfortable beds and rooms with superb showers and lovely toiletries! Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is superb. Definitely recommend The Dylan!
S. R.
Wonderful hotel. The staff were ready to help make our stay as pleasant as can be. Great location near Grafton Street and Trinity College. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby.
R. C.
A fantastic night stay at the Dylan - location is great and it’s a beautiful hotel with gorgeous bar & restaurant areas but the staff are absolutely stand out in all areas of the hotel. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel, close to the centre, bus stop 300 m away, helpful and professional staff. Lovely atmosphere. |The room where we stayed for 3 nights was spotless. High quality finishes and furnishings, |in addition to the restaurant, in the evening it is possible to drink a pint of Guinness or have an aperitif directly at the bar near the hall.|To be recommended.
V. M.
The hotel is a little out of the way, but it is a beautiful building in a very nice area of Dublin. We got a room upgrade, which is always a pleasure, and our one night experience in this hotel really satisfied us.||Three small regrets, all the same:||- carpet in the room a little worn in some places||- corridor a little too noisy during the night (slamming doors, people talking loudly)||- the breakfast buffet lacks a little choice.||Apart from these few small hiccups, we recommend this hotel.
m. a.
Due to its aesthetics it is a decidedly alternative hotel, it is located in a closed alley so it is very quiet. About ten minutes from the center on foot, but the walk is pleasant.||Inside it is really very nice and well looked after. It offers all the comforts of a five-star hotel and deserves them all.||The staff is kind and attentive. There is a small internal car park.
F. L.
On paper, this hotel has something to please.||On arrival, the idea remains interesting: Residential area, not bad building, comfortable room with a rather successful decor. ||Things are going bad at the bar and at the restaurant. More than cheap decor, crude finishes, unpleasant staff... in short, not really a moment of relaxation or pleasure. Avoid if you are looking for a place where you can curl up on a nice warm sofa at the end of the afternoon, while you choose the evening restaurant.
D. N.
Very close to the center of Dublin, which can also be reached on foot in a short time, it is located in a very quiet area. Tastefully furnished and equipped with all comforts, it is modern without being eccentric and pleasant even for an extended stay. Also recommended for extended stays.
O. D.
The hotel is indeed quiet in a dead-end street.|The room is overall not too bad, the bedding is very average, the hot water in the shower has difficulty arriving and when it arrives it is boiling, these are a few details but when you want to give yourself this class you must be impeccable!||The worst is not these details, but the welcome at the reception which is execrable! Unfriendly as can be! No class! A disaster!||The only positive point is the welcome of the staff at breakfast!||I absolutely do not recommend this hotel and I will report it to the backpacker guide that I used to select it!
