6 Georgian houses tastefully restored into a modern comfortable haven. Ample free onsite residents parking and clean spacious and well equipped rooms.
Staff genuinely warm, welcoming and eager to provide an excellent customer experience.
We will definitely stay again.

p. b.Stayin here for two night place is absolutely fabulous from the room to the staff its great right from get go the lady that checked me in on reception Mary was super welcoming and friendly the night porter Andrew is a great guy to have a chat and will do anything he can to help and in the morning Sara is a nice friendly face to say good morning the rooms are spotless beds are comfy and lead to a great nights sleep the bar staff and food are fabulous and the out door seating area they have set up is lovely all in all am going to book a room here for me and my girlfriend on my birthday actually can't wait to see all the friendly welcoming staff again I highly recommend this fine establishment to anyone looking to get away

J. W.Lovely stay, our room was clean and spacious and the staff were very accommodating, especially the girl on reception (afternoon shift Wednesday august 12th) food was good. We only live down the road but it was the perfect night off to relax and get away and forget about everything - speaking of which the bed was amazing!!
B. U.Very nice older hotel with a modern refit. Parking is easy outside but limited. Location means you will need to use transport to get to the attractions. Service was good and the room spacious and well set out. Inside it is a little unique with some interesting colours and has an elevator. Restaurant is very good and they have live music which was very enjoyable. They have an open fire place in a lounge room. Worth a visit.
N. M.A nice comfortable hotel in a good location. I had a quiet, spacious room on the top floor. Place was spotless and up to standard. Decor was weird though in the hallways: like a mix between a brothel and a disco. Breakfast wasn't bad but in a badly lit bar. They definitely need to buy a different brand of coffee. It was watery and weak. When I complained and asked for a stronger cup I got exactly the same. Overall though a nice place to stay.

V. K.Stayed here recently . A lovely clean hotel . Unfortunately if your looking for a decent nights sleep, this is NOT the hotel to go . I understand you will have comings and goings etc but this was unreal . It was after 2.30 am before we closed an eye with a long drive early next morning. If you are looking for a place to party and stay up all night , than this is the place to go . Looks classy from the outside but very different story if sleeping there . Mentioned it when checking out and really a couldn't care less attitude . To much choice in Dublin to have to put up with a very poor nights sleep with a careless attitude in return .

M. K.A solid hotel for our overnight stay in Dublin. The elevator is extremely small. Only about two people with their bags could fit comfortably inside. Also be warned that if you have a room on the second floor you will hear the live music that plays on Friday nights (I believe live music is played Friday through Monday). However my wife and I were so tired that we feel asleep fast and it didn’t bother us but if your staying for the weekend I’d recommend requesting a room above the second floor.

B. C.Hi Guys. I was lucky enough to celebrate with my Best friend Margaret Hennessy (now Connolly) at her Wedding in your Fabulous Hotel. I have many great memories of my youth in this Hotel (formally Sachs ). To say I was speechless at how amazing everything was is an understatement. Everything about the Hotel is amazing. The Staff from Andrew ( manager on the day) and John ( Bar manager) to the fantastic colleagues throughout the hotel made it a very special day. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the colleagues.
It was made a very Special day for all who attended. Everyone of my friends have raved about it.
The rooms were fantastic as was the room service. In this very competitive market you are up there with the best of them.
Pat yourselves on the back lads as I am a hard woman to please...
I can not recommend this Hotel for anything you want ENOUGH...
Thank you Guys for making my best Friend have the Fantastic Day she wanted and deserved....You went far beyond my expectations ...

loads of mirrors. excellent lighting for make up. Would give 4 stars.. just because emergancy green light on ceiling which is sooo small but created such a bright light in room when all other lights off. So that was irritating. Would defiantly book again. highly recommended.

Y. Z.Nice modern hotel with a classy older facade. The restaurant was nice and my room was maybe. Some odd quirks such as no cold water in the room except from the shower/bath (all sink taps run warm!) and short beds that leave my feet hanging out the end.

Only downside is bath was rather high to get into for a shower, I'm 5'7, might be difficult for someone smaller or mobility issues

Bathroom had underfloor heating which massively benefited it's cause and the bath/shower were both well cleaned and worked. No milk, only creamer for tea but both tea and coffee were well stocked with caffeinated and decaf. Shame about the bed, it just felt too springy? Like it needed replacing. Fireplace also didn't work via remote and i know how to work them.
Other than those issues it would've been 5. Nice room nonetheless. Would stay again.

A. K.Well, to be honest after all positive reviews on TripAdvisor I expected a bit more. Location is perfect, near Ranelagh, close to city centre and a couple of buses so just in front of the hotel. It is clean, when you take the keys, no doubt. But when my sheets were dirty after spilling something they were not replaced even though it was obvious because they were only replaced every 3 days. Overall cleaning service is not too as good as I would expect of a4-start hotel, kind of messy. That's a bit below expectations. Very good restaurant and nice service. Good toiletries. A bit to kitschy design. But rooms are nice and spacious.

M. M. S.Up to date modern hotel that ticks all the boxes from location to parking to amazing food and upbeat decorations and sown very spacious rooms. The hotel lobby and hallways including stairs are very well decorated but the elevator is very small and not suitable for more then 2 people at a time or even a stoller/pram. Room was great with loads of room and again great deco and the bathroom was one the best Iv seen for a standard room. However it loses marks on 2 very important factors in my opinion. First there was no way of having fresh air in the room the window would not open even a cráck which caused it to get stuffy late at night and the bed itself was too soft it caused back ache for my partner and I. Over all a wonderful hotel for anyone visiting the city it just lost a Mark in some areas

The window are old style(single glazed) and don't stop noise or cold.
M. H.The room was beautiful and clean with all amenities, but we were not told the room didn't have any windows when booking or when we arrived. Therefore it felt quite claustrophobic. Not that cheap either. Very courteous staff.
d. r.Our son had his wedding reception here earlier this year. The day was perfect from start to finish. The pre reception drinks and sandwiches were excellent and plentiful. Upstairs the function room was beautifully dressed and presented. The food was absolutely fabulous. Guests said the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. (the steak was amazing). The manager and staff were very pleasant and could not do enough to help. The house band The Bentley Boys kept the dance floor packed all night. Highly recommended.
The wedding party bedrooms were simply stunning. Our room had a table and chairs in one section and an enormous bathroom. All the other wedding party guests were very impressed with theit rooms. Breakkfast the next morning was also beautifully done.
Apologies to Seán the manager and the rest of the staff for not posting this sooner. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a wedding venue should make The Hampton their first port of call. 10/10.

B. T.Our room was two twin beds. It was comfortable and clean. It is one of the few hotels I have been to in Ireland that provides wash cloths. They were re-doing the outside of the hotel so we had no view.
P. M.Decent hotel with relatively central location at a fair price. Value for money if a little noisy, seemed like a fire escape or external stairwell was being used outside my room.

2 seperate duvets on the king bed, should have been 1 king duvet.
€13.50 for 1 Guinness and 1 red wine at bar, getting fed up with Dublin prices.
Smoking area needs at least a small section covered as it was raining so floor, table and chairs were wet.
Overall it was a nice hotel and I'd prob have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the separate duvets on the king bed, that bugged me the most.
C. T.This is a lovely period hotel with aodern twist. Lovely location on Morehampton rosd with a bus stop just outside so one can pop into the city center easily. The aircoach stop nis alfo outside making it convenient to go to and from Dublin Airport. Internally, the decor is modern , but a little dark for my taste.
Our room was roasting hot when we checked in. Thermostat set at 23 degrees. While I like my heat, this is far too hot for a bedroom. However resetting the thermostst to 18 degrees didnt cool it down and we couldnt open the beftoom window as it wss painted shut. This was both uncomfortable and probably illegal from a health and safety perspective.
It is all a pity as otherwise we would have enjoyed our stay here.
T. H.There wasn't much within walking distance, but the bus routes were easy enough, and an aircoach stop right in front. Room was nice and clean. The tub was a little leaky. Staff was friendly and helpful.
D. M.Can't review the rooms but the hotel bar is a great place for relaxing, food portions are good and staff are friendly. It is possible to sit outside and enjoy a little bit of sun.
Seafood chowder was a large portion and up there with the very best I have had in Ireland, creamy (but not thick) with plenty of fishy chunks, mussels and prawns.
In the evenings a lady plays the piano, not in a loud and overbearing manner thankfully, a nice addition.
There is a nightclub attached.
As a hotel, the location is excellent being only a short walk to St. Stephen's Green and it sits close to several Dublin Bus routes and has an Aircoach stop from and to the airport.

J. O. M.Frequently stay here when in Dublin. It's actually a bit of a hidden gem. People probably think it's a little outside the city centre, but as I used to live in the area I know how convenient it is to town & also close proximity to Donnybrook & Herbert Park, Sandymount, Ballsbridge etc. Nicely styled inside, great rooms (if a little awkward if you have a buggy, although family rooms on ground floor are great). Decent entertainment too but best thing about it is it's reasonably priced for a quality Dublin city hotel.

What a great hotel and the staff in the bar, Andy; Jacob; and breakfast, Lydia, were so welcoming and wonderful hard workers. Made you feel like you knew them for ever..
It was especially enjoyable because we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.. Thank you Andy.
The food was awesome and lots of it.
We loved having the bus stop out in front coming and going so we could look around Dublin and enjoy the city

Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür und kostenlos. Busfahrt in die Stadt (Templebar) kostet als Einzelticket 2,70 Eiro. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.
Wer nicht mitten im Trubel sein möchte, der ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.
