Pros: Location. Staff.
Cons: Not mobility accesible, with many tight hallways and corners. In my room there is no way a wheelchair is getting past the desk to the bed. Rooms are tiny. The top floor is ONLY accessed up a narrow stair. Bathtub requires a step up and grab handle. TV is very small and mine had vertical lines six inches wide, etc etc. You get the idea. Anyways,

Simple room for a good price, location is perfect for walking around in Dublin. Staff is super helpful, good recommendations and comfy beds.

Great place, big room, very comfy and the wiew is nothing special
Very clean hotel, you get a coffee machine even

Friendly staff, roomy and clean rooms. Cosy residents bar.

Got a double room for less than 60 euro. Nicely decorated! Very warm on a summer night, fan in room but not the correct power plug for the socket in room. No air con.
M. W.
The room was a little warm, and there was only one window so there wasn't much ventilation. The room was advertised as a queen, but the bed was at most a full. A queen bed would not have fit; the room was quite small. There wasn't much noise privacy either, given that we all had our windows open onto the same courtyard.
However, it is safe, clean, and very well located just off O'Connell street. Also, they offer a breakfast buffet every morning, serving full Irish breakfast for only €10.

Good central hotel. Rooms are a good size and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. I left my headphones in the room and only realised once I got home to the UK. Staff were very helpful in checking and then helping to arrange the return of them!

I stayed for two nights to go into Dublin and it was one of the best hotels I've ever been to in europe! Really nice staff and gives all the essentials, kettle, coffee machine and a jar of sweets. The room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfy! A must go for anyone visiting Dublin!

Reasonable. The room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was ok but tiny, though the shower was good. The bed was comfortable but I felt the duvet was a little short, and I am under 6ft. There was a TV but the remote barely worked and there were just a few local channels. No sat and no international channels. Staff were friendly and allowed us to store our bags both before we checked in and after we checked out. Breakfast was decent, I had cereal, toast, fruit etc.
G. R.
very welcoming the resection staff are very friendly and are always attentive to everything that guests may need I would definitely stay here again on the next visit to dublin⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice hotel. Good service, very convenient place, in the heart of city centre, good place to stay and visit Dublin City Center.

Location was great, downtown Dublin close to shops and pubs. The room was very small and slightly dirty. Breakfast was included but we checked out before it was open. The people at the front desk were of great help. We were overall pleased.

Have just booked to stay at Hotel St George for May 2018. This will be my 15th stay at this hotel. I find the location spot on for me. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. The food is excellent. The rooms have all be refurbished to a god standard. Just hoping I don't get room 408(I had this on my first stay in 2004 and my last stay in 2017), I find it a bit small.

An exceptionally nice Hotel. Spotless, professional friendly staff. Complimentary Coffee/Biscuits/Toiletries/Water. Fantastic shower. Practically stones throw to O'Connell Street. Highly recommend
G. S.
Nice quaint hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are typical European rooms. It's nice that they have a coffee machine in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The room can be noisy as the walls are thin.

Stayed here on the spur of the moment after another accomodation fell through and arrived without a booking but luckily a room for only 45euro for the 1 night was available. Spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. Very nice t.v. and location is right in the heart of the city. Recommend!

Can not fault this hotel everything you need . So close to city buses on doorstep lovely clean room soft towels<br/> lovely breakfast our room faced the front , overlooking a park seriously this hotel has all you need and prices are so so reasonable compared to some close by,, we will definately come back to this hotel.
K. B.
Great little hotel. Staff is very friendly. Some rooms have nice views, some don't. Some rooms have nice bathrooms and some have tiny little showers. Overall, the location and staff friendliness makes this a gem to stay at.
R.
Really liked this hotel! The staff are lovely and its in a great location! Only bad thing was the heat in the room (though on our 2nd night staff got us fans) and there's a sensor light in the room that goes on anytime you turn round in bed which isn't good when its waking you at 4am!

I recently stayed at Hotel St. George with my husband and family for my 50th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help. The hotel was very central for everything. Hoping to visit Dublin again and would come back to this hotel

Perfect location. Nice hotel. Good staff. good breakfast... Wi-Fi signal weak in the 4th floor... almost useless.

(Translated) The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The hotel is right in the middle, which is very good, as you can get anywhere very quickly on foot. In addition, our hotel room was clean, the view was not so nice but well

(Translated) Hotel value for money very well. Very well located with bus stop at our feet. Staff very very helpful, kind (heating our dishes in the microwave because restaurants closed covid and ready covered), Peter helped us find the prices of the buses for our trips, etc ...). Clean room. So I highly recommend, and Price 65 € for 2 a night in Dublin, C is rare. (5 nights on site).

Chambre propre.

(Translated) The hotel is in a great location, you can walk everywhere and the Airlink bus stops right outside. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and well equipped with a coffee machine, pads and toiletries. The breakfast buffet for 10 euros was okay and the mattresses would have to be replaced.
(Original)

(Translated) Hotel in a convenient position to be reached by public transport (including the Airlink 747 from the airport), the rooms are nice and on arrival are offered some biscuits and coffee pods, in addition to the inevitable tea kettle. Breakfast (for a fee) is quite rich and is completely buffet style. Unfortunately the rooms are not soundproofed and therefore you can hear the noises of the neighbors and the corridor.
(Original)

(Translated) Good location, clean room, nice service, fond of children. A bit of getting used to is the huge gap in the rooms under the door to the hallway and generally very noisy, for a weekend break but completely okay.

Gute Lage, sauberes Zimmer, netter Service, kinderlieb.

(Translated) It is near the center with what you can walk. Our room faced the street and sometimes there was noise, but it did not prevent us from resting. Large windows. Comfortable. The carpeted floor and the small bathroom. Be careful with the shower because hot water comes out immediately and literally burns. The room has a TV and a coffee machine. The normal breakfast. Toasted bread, salted section and sweet section. Does not have soy milk, oatmeal, etc. I bought a minibrick of soy milk and it was heated the next morning. You can leave your bags once you have checked out and then go back for them. There are bus stops next to the hotel from where you can go almost anywhere in Dublin. Quiet zone. It is in front of a park.
(Original)
Zona tranquila. Está frente a un parque.

Nothing but fabulous things to say about this establishment. The team here are absolutely lovely (Helen is great!). We also found the location to be very convenient and the breakfast was good too.
Very accommodating, very hospitable. We felt welcome and will come back when we're in Dublin next!
s. m.
Good location and convenience. If you take bus no.16 from Dublin airport , get off at the bus stop at Parnell East ,just in front of the hotel door.
J. P.
Hotel is very quaint and staff are really friendly and kind. Rates here tend to be lower compared to the rest of Dublin and the value is really good. Room was clean, Water pressure in the shower was amazing, and the bed was so comfortable. I stayed in an adorable room that had everything I needed. Will definitely be staying here again!
S. M. (.
Great hotel in the city centre north. Excellent service and comfortable rooms in a traditional-style hotel.
S. N.
On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located close to the center of the city, making it easy to access all the major attractions. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, particularly at the reception desk.
The breakfast at the hotel was only average and I found it to be a little bit expensive for the price.
The rooms at the Hotel St. George by Nina are on the older side, especially the bathrooms. While they were clean and comfortable, some updates would be welcome. Additionally, if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend requesting a room away from the road as they can be quite noisy at night.
Despite these shortcomings, I felt that the hotel was generally good value for money. I particularly appreciated the coffee and tea facilities in the room, which were a nice touch.
Overall, the Hotel St. George by Nina is a solid choice for those looking for a centrally located hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
T. S.
I can't say anything bad about this place. The location is excellent, it's priced lower than many other hotels in Dublin city centre, the staff is friendly, rooms are clean. Good breakfast buffet as well.
N. M.
The room was comfortable and quiet. Service was great, friendly staff.
Our stay was upgraded to a triple room (reserved a double one) free of charge to make it a better experience!
E. M.
My daughter and I stayed here in October 2022! It was such a beautiful quiet environment, in the heart of Dublin! We felt safe, it was clean and the breakfast was amazing! Thank you for having us!
M. V.
The staff at this hotel were so incredibly kind and helpful! The location was also amazing during our stay. I’d say the rooms were a lot smaller than expected but it did the job for what we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
E. A.
Stayed a week while attending a conference. Not a nice part of town. Small and noicy rooms. I was told I was upgraded from the single room to a double. I think I would have preferred to keep the single bed so that I could at least turn around inside the room without risking to hit the walls. Breakfast not worth €10, you better go outside to have it.
Overall a very typical Dublin hotel.
H. T.
Stayed for a week on business and it was great.
Aside from it being affordable, i loved how it was only a walking distance from a lot of the main city attractions.
Room was pretty clean and very cozy. Came with an extra plug in heater as well as a coffee and tea maker. HOT WATER when showering, so nice!
I did their 3rd party laundry service and I’d probably rate it a 7/10. They pick up M-F @ 8am and have it done sometime in the afternoon. They give you a card with a list of laundry services you can choose from, most popular being ‘Mixed Laundry’ (wash, dry, folded) for 18€.
My experience was a hit or miss when I’d send my laundry. First time came back smelling really, really good and folded okay. Second time seemed pointless. Some clothes were still wet/damp while others seemed like it wasn’t washed at all. I guess it just depends on who handles the laundry for the day.
It’s good if you’re on crunch time, i like the convenience of having it done the same day. But their 3rd party service also states they’re not responsible for lost or damaged clothing.
So it’s a “your call” kind of thing.
All in all, I’d recommend staying here. I had a great experience.
s. s.
I did a same day/late booking because my flight was delayed. When I got there they said they were full and there was a mistake in the website. Apparently it was a known issue because their system was acting up for about a month. I was there at 3 am. The receptionist was super nice and tried his best. Someone did an early checkout so he… personally put clean sheets and clean towels. While I appreciate the effort I still paid for the full fee. The used soap in the bathroom was left there and the trash can was full in the room. He did offer complementary breakfast, but I arrived so late I was not going to wake up. I even did late checkout at 2pm just to get the extra rest and time to get my things together.
R. H.
Clean, decent hotel ideal for the sight-seeing traveller; this is not the place to sit in and while away your days, it is a good place to base your tourist activities from. It is a reasonable walk to many Dublin sights, it is a clean hotel with a decent staff and a good continental breakfast each morning. The walls are somewhat thin, so you can expect to hear your neighbour when you are in your room.
The room is restocked every day with tea and coffee.
C. L.
Great hotel that satisfied our needs. Helpful staff, clean rooms and close to city centre. More than adequate Continental breakfast to start your day. Would definitely return.

I completely don't understand people who complained about noise!!! Hello all, This is a City not a small village!!! What do ye expect? Great staff, brilliant location, room is a bit small ,but,Hello, all of ye have a choice always! We slept great ,Sea gulls woke us up a few times but thats life ! We are not complaining about this ,See u next year lads ...from us 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
M. B. K. I.
Comfortable stay, easy access to the bus station. The hotel staff were kind and nice. Even though the hotel is next to a busy street, the room I got was peaceful and silent.
I. K.
This is a very charming hotel.
We loved the convenience of walking to city center as well as convenient public transport outside the door.
Nikola at the reception desk was so friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the pub in the evening and the breakfast buffet.
We loved our stay here and hope to return one day!
B. G.
Rooms are clean and elevator going to every 2nd floor weird. Bathroom fixtures could use modernization. Charming hotel with great staff.
D. M.
Truly exceptional service!, Highly recommend
An error caused by the 3rd party booking company meant the room reserved was not what we had booked. Staff and management worked to resolve it in a very short time.
N.
2 mins walk to spire oconnell street..across road from garden of rememberence..very central..shopping 2mins away also..plenty of pubs around if you fancy food and drinks.
Very clean..just asmell of smoke but im just not asmoker so just personnel preference but it is non smoking in hotel
Very welcoming at reception.checking in and out and nite staff ..
S. R.
Good location and spotless, no complaints, actually the buffet breakfast had no sausages or pudding and was 5 mins late!!!
P. W.
Wonderful and helpful staff. Clean and great room.
B. H.
Too noisy, especially the under ground floor and the top floor
J. B.
Fantastic value for money, wonderful rooms and brilliant service.

Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff.
D. D.
Warm , clean , comfortable.
Nice staff
B. M. B.
Hotel very well located, public transport stops at the door, in a quiet area that allows for a good rest, the treatment of the staff is unbeatable. Breakfast little varied but very correct.
B. R.
Impeccable room overlooking courtyard so quiet. On the other hand, the soundproofing is a disaster...you can hear the neighbors above and those next door, so it's very annoying when neighbors chat until late at night....forced to wear earplugs! Otherwise clean rooms.
A. M. K.
Nice ambience. Everything was easily accessible. The rooms were tastefully decorated. I was thrilled. Recommended for solo travelers.
D. V.
We were guests at the property from January 29th until February 2nd.
Excellent value for money.
Situated in a good location.
The structure is well cared for and furnished, there is a welcoming atmosphere.
Excellent service at the buffet.
The room was small and was very clean and equipped with various equipment.
The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable.
Perhaps the only flaw was the sink, where there is a tap of hot water that slowly becomes boiling and one of freezing water.
For the little we paid it far exceeded our expectations, if we were to return to Dublin in the future I would happily stay at this property again.
I recommend it.
F. H.
Very poorly soundproofed hotel; breakfast only served from 8 a.m. and it is impossible to have a take-away breakfast when you leave the hotel at 6 a.m.; foul smell in the bathroom (sewers); no mixer at the sink faucet.
S. Z.
The Hotel St. George is very well located. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and quiet. The breakfast was rich; However, a second coffee machine would be appropriate so that there aren't always long queues. The value for money is good and we would book at the St. George again.
K. O.
I stayed 4 days at the hotel.
For price-quality it is highly recommended.
Attentive and correct staff, clean hotel.
The negative part was that my room was very noisy and the television had almost no channels.
You have free coffee both in the main lounge and in your room.
C. G.
Well, coffee 12 pounds per person.
