Lovely stay with great sea views from our room. We watched kite surfers and marveled at the speed of the tides coming and going. Really nice stay staff are very friendly good and drink is lovely. We also rest at the Golden Elephant across the road.

Nice Hotel front of the beach, this venue host small events and could host big events outdoor, they have a restaurant, food is nice and tasty. have an indoor pool, an area for events and a comfortable bar with all kinds of drinks. Perfect for families with kids and to relax by the sea
P. S.
Nice hotel. Very handy to the dart station which we used during our stay. Parked car on Friday afternoon and never moved it til Sunday morning. Good result at the rugby.

Met a friend for lunch. Food was nice, service was slow but that was ok as I wasn't in a rush. But there was no atmosphere in the hotel not even a bit of piped festive music even though it was Christmas week. Nice, comfortable seating.

Fantastic stay at your hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Covid restrictions observed. Very friendly staff. Nothing was to much for them to accommodate. I will stay here every time I'm In Dublin. We loved our room and the hotel was spotless. Loved the location to the city and Howth. Great job guys. We will be back again.

Eggs benedict served for breakfast are almost the best I've ever had. The hotel is clean and well run. Rooms are great standard. The hotel appears to be popular with older people. It's a quiet (as in relaxing) hotel with beautiful sea views and it's easy to get to. The bathroom was tiled in marble or similar with no heating making it very cold. Would recommend staying here but leave the bathroom door open or freeze in the morning!

We attended the marine for a family gathering following a funeral. The room was very tastefully decorated spotless clean and the food was lovely. We were assigned to a lovely lady called Connie who introduced herself and looked after us for the afternoon. She was very attentive and a bit of a carachter. She made sure everything ran smoothly and went above and beyond to look after us including organising left overs for the dog. The marine hotel are extremely lucky to have her. We will definitely be back.

Lovely atmosphere. Good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Ask for a Seaview. Lovely break. Reasonably priced.

THANK YOU EMILY! You are an asset to your company. We had a Family emergency and needed some where local to stay. We called the hotel Directly And Emily was so, so helpful from start to finish her customer service was to an extremely professional high standard she was so kind and understanding to my children which is a big deal for me... I stay in Dublin alot for work and visiting family and its been a long time since I have felt the need to write a review.. thank you again Emily 🤗

We had refreshments after our mam's funeral. John and all the staff were very professional, empathetic and kind. We will never forget their kindness. Thank you so much each and everyone of you.

Had our wedding here and our whole day was perfect! We were treated brilliantly from start to finish! Staff are fantastic and especially Connie who made everything go so smoothly for us. Would highly recommend!

Not my first stay. Had an very nice stay, paid for the sea view, and glad I did. Easy walk to Dart Station.
To be very critical menu was uninspired, but food was good, no actual complaints.

I had my wedding here at the Marine Hotel in Sutton on Saturday the 4th of December and I have to say the staff were absolutely amazing to myself, my partner and all of our guests they all were so so accomedating to everyone, I cannot thank John enough for what he done for us not only on the day but the lead up to our big day he was outstanding with his hospitality and went above and beyond for us, Emily on the front desk was one of the most friendliest receptionist I have ever come across I got so many complements about her she was amazing with all the kids that were there, Connie the girl that looked after the wedding reception was absolutely gorgeous always making sure that I was okay she too also went above and beyond for us.
S. N.
My daughter was very much in need of a toilet. We were passing by and I stopped to ask to use toilet. With Covid restrictions in place it was still not a problem. Thank you!
P. T.
We got a Junior Suite with the most amazing sea views of Howth and across Dublin Bay. Staff are mostly friendly but noticed some younger members of staff looking after the rooms not wearing there mask, not good enough. The breakfast was great ,the only small let down was the center of the fried egg was still uncooked, there only small slipups but something to be improved. Our stay was still very good and well worth another visit in the future 👍PJ

Went for Siunday lunch. Very small menu only one meat and one fish as menu. Very few customers.

The welcome was authentic & kind.
Delighted to see this local Hotel open under recommended guidelines it's a tough time for our hospitality sector and here they work with grace and kindness
Thanks

Nice and cozy, very good location.
Good parking,
Furniture in the rooms a bit of tired, many broken things such as shower head, toilet cover....
J. M.
Great location staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, pus the food was excellent.

I give 3 stars cause I love the venue but their receptionists couldn’t be less unprofessional and unwelcoming, unfortunately now to visit the restaurant you need to go via reception, I know covid and all, but theres no excuse to be rude and unfriendly when someone is asking if it’s ok to get in.
A. H.
Really liked the room, very stylish decor. The food was delicious, espec the seafood pasta! Unfortunately the service was poor, no one at the reception to check us in. We were waiting for almost 10min for someone. Also, at dinner we were lefting waiting about 30min to order and then our food didn't arrive for another 40min. The staff were very unhappy and stressed and were very quick to share their grievances, not the most professional. A pity as the hotel is located in a lovely area and rooms were very comfy. I hope the staff are treated well as they are the foundation of any business.
G. O. B.
Clean, nice food and good bar service. A nice relaxing place. I would recommend a visit.

Have very mixed feelings about staying in Marine hotel in Sutton. Love the hotel, loved the room and the staff are all nice and friendly.
But I'd say because of covid they still trying to find their feet and not really consistent with some service.
On the hotel website it says, you can ask a fridge to the room but manager said it is not possible as they don't do it. Then i asked if they could store something for me in their fridge and they said its not a problem. When checking out, my present from home was missing from the fridge and manager said they are not allow to keep anything else beside medicine, but i was not told about it when i requested it first place while manager was right there.
Some covid rules are different on website and no one explains you the actual rules when checking in,like if you want new towels leave the old ones behind the room door and ask that you need new ones and if you want your bin emptied , also leave it outside.
Service at meals is very slow, only couple of senior staff know really what they are doing, you could have 10 tables and about 6 staff, still waiting to be served a menu and drink in 30 min and food another 30 min. Had only two staff members over 10 days, who were brilliant at what they do.
Lady called Patricia who served us dinner one of the evenings was absolutely amazing, explained why can't we eat outside, explained the menu, was lovely and friendly, and very efficient and professional and had good humour.
Breakfast rules are different everyday: they have cappucions on their menu but when asked one, they tell they dont serve Cappucino with breakfast, but the next days was not a problem, and the day after was no cappucions again. Very confusing and didn't understand it at all why was it on the menu.
Booked the hotel to be able to go swin in the pool, i was lucky to get a slot for only 1 morning. Every other day was fully booked, and as i said i stayed for 10 days, so not sure its a good idea to let people book it for so adnvance and the guests can't use the premises at all.
Bit disappointed about the cleaning the rooms. I understand that some adjustments have to be made due to covid, but on my stay for 9 night, no one ever asked if we need cleaning the room, or changed our bed sheets. On the day 6th, i asked reception, that could they change our bed sheets and i was told they see what they can do. We were away all day, but noone fulfilled the request unfortunately.
Its was the time of heatwave and beach visits, so i would of really appreciated that.
As i said, loved the hotel and location and the staff but the service was a let down for me this time but I'd like to return in future.

Fabulous sea views and very friendly staff. Very reasonable rates.

I would have liked a little more choice for lunch but what I ordered was grand.
Our waitress was very attentive and good humoured.
D. R.
We were upgraded to a room with a Seaview which was fabulous..the outdoor terrace/garden was beside the seafront you would not realise you were in Dublin
Staff were lovely..we would definitely stay again
L. S.
Food was good service good a bit tricky getting out of car park due to its situation on road junction
G. M.
Location perfect, friendly and professional staff, food top notch, room excellent. This is a follow up to a review I posted on first night due to my disappointment at the fact there was only one beer available. This was resolved over the following two days

Just back from a wonderful nights stay with my husband and son. I can't fault anything and the staff are just so helpful and lovely. Declan in the bar is fantastic and makes the best drinks. The hotel was very clean and we had our temperature checked on arrival. We ate dinner in the hotel which was delicious. I would happily recommend the marine hotel and we can't wait to go back. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable, you do an amazing job.

Great location. Slightly overworked staff but I had a very pleasant experience here. Beautiful gardens too.
M. M.
Lovely staff tasty food and very comfortable surroundings
F. F.
Really lovely hotel. Temp check and contact details taken on entry. The hotel is spotless. Bar food and the service given is second to none. Beautiful views out to the bay. Short stroll through the tree lined manicured grounds leads to the beach. Nice for a walk on a sunny day or just sit and enjoy the magnificent views!

I can gladly say I’ve never had an issue here,it is a go to spot for many of our family gatherings.one of the nicest weddings I’ve been at was here too.
The staff are extremely helpful and polite, and the food is beautiful,on top of that the garden is a lovely little spot with a nice view of the mountains
D. T.
Room was beautiful with a real nice view and staff was super friendly. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back, highly recommend it

My son and I stayed 2 years ago. I should have wrote then. The staff and everybody were so polite, helpful and kind. The rooms were very nice. I am coming back to Ireland in the next year or 2 and will be staying here again.

I assumed the length hotels had been closed that hotels would have gone above an beyond to have their premises ready for guests ,I assumed this hotel was in Howth as its the first one that pops up when you search hotels in howth but just to clarify its actually in Sutton, 40 min walk from Howth an i don't drive, only stayed for 1 night and the pool was booked out for the following 3 days and I had kids with me so they were disappointed, I booked 2 rooms spotless however, 1 room was fine but the other wasn't, before u enter a room they leave a sticker on your door to say your room has been fully cleaned an serviced , but this was the first time I've ever booked a hotel room an there were no towels an no toiletries or glasses in the bathroom which I found quite surprising given its a family room, I had to look for a room service trolley to get what I needed as both phones in both rooms did not work so i couldn't ring reception, bathroom door didn't close if you push the door closed the lock sticks so almost got locked in, I had children with me and our room overlooked a huge generator that hummed all night long so got no sleep, i tried booking a room for 4 of us but they told me they only had rooms to accommodate 3 people but when I arrived they failed to tell me there was also a sofa bed which means there was enough to accommodate 4 people
but I was told 3 so I had to book the 2 rooms... catches arnt reliable on the windows for children I had to put them back on, the hot water in my particular room was ridiculously hot above boiling temperature so had to use cold tap the whole time silly little things that should have been checked before a new guest were not checked, but the fact I arrived to no towels an toiletries really ticked me off, the staff in this hotel ar fantastic in the restaurant especially the girls on breakfast shift extremely friendly an the hotel would be nothing without them, its a beautiful hotel just silly little things that need attention paid , the breakfast really wasn't nice but the evening meals were extremely tasty, the hotel overlooks sutton beach but its not a very nice beach at all, very unlikely I'll return to this hotel unless I'm made go as it was our 1st time away since the pandemic an expected more as iv travelled all over Ireland to hotels in the past
M. M.
Lovely hotel in a nice location with a beach walk right behind the hotel. Food was lovely and the staff here were fantastic.
D. C.
Lovely staff, lovely room and great location. Their dining area needs an upgrade but the food was decent. The only downside was the eejit with the leaf blower in the car park at 8am😐
C. M.
Food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly would definitely recommend cause my girlfriend got 2 blankets so that made her day excellent
J. C.
Great Stay, Quite and comfortable.
Good location, near to the beach and Howth Cliffs
D. P.
Nice hotel, well situated at the seaside and nice rooms. We asked for a quite room and ended up in a room next to the ventilation system on the roof next to it..... it was not possible to sleep with open windows, too noisy (and smell of the kitchen ventilation). Staff told that the system would stop during night.... which was not the case. We were charged too much for drinks during dinner, which was corrected by the bar staff after informing them. I read other comments and share the feeling that some hotel staff appears to be absent or not very motivated.... with a bit of effort, guests would feel much more welcome and get a much better feeling. We had dinner which was fine except the children spaghetti sauce which appeared not to be fresh and tasted likely.

Lovely Hotel will stay there again

Nice to go for food and staff are great.

It's a great hotel the staff are brilliant I would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely stay from start to finish. Easy to get to on the DART. Sarah on reception was so helpful, with bus time tables printed for visitors attending Malahide castle gigs. A credit to the hotel. Room was clean and warm and had a nice view! The bar food was lovely, and the Italian restaurant must be too because it was very busy. Will stay again.
M. R.
Ok experience, exterior needs work, staff friendly
S. V. S.
Had a great stay and honestly great location. Have booked ti go back soon.
M. G. K.
Restaurant staff excellent, food average.
K. K.
We had a small family wedding here on 11th of March. From day one the response was great, the lady that helped get it all organised was Caroline and what a credit to this hotel she is. Went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing and a lovely lady by the name of Connie had all of us full of food and laughter. Views are amazing and every single member of staff had us feeling that they where there for us.
B. S.
A great Hotel to visit for meal or coffee. Loved the carvery when it was in operation. Staff are very welcoming and take care of their customers. Had a wonderful meal with my family August 2018 for a special occasion in Cucinos.
E. M.
We enjoy the atmosphere in the cafe dining area for the view and ambiance. But last night it was very untidy, chairs scattered around dirty tables and grubby floors. Definitely NOT Marine hotel standards. We had food and coffee all very good and all the staff get 10 out of 10. My wife and i are regulars
We look forward to enjoying a light refreshment after our walk in Howth. Disappointed last night
3 out of 10 only for that visit. You did ask
Regards. Eugene McKinney

Great cosy hotel with a lovely restaurant (pub style kind of restaurant as Cuccino was closed). The room was large and very clean, the swimming pool was cold but good for swimming, not suitable for a chill time as it's too cold though
D. P.
Stayed here during the winter when the rates were lower. Overall is represented good value at €100 a night. The room was clean and adequately sized for a family of three, and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding. The hotel bar was a nice spot to relax in, and the swimming pool and sauna’s were an unexpected perk of staying at the hotel. I just wish we had found the nice beach at the back of the hotel a bit sooner!
L. C.
Always a good time is had friendly and helpful staff
P. C.
Excellent hotel......wonderful hotel and huge adherence to Covid-19 measures

Had such a stressful morning driving up yesterday. As soon as I landed to the hotel at 6:45 a.m., I was greeted by Richard (night porter) and Pauline (supervisor). From walking into those door and being made so welcome made the change around from a horrible morning to a much more pleasant morning. They were ever so helpful with my troubles and with that, I will be forever grateful! They will be the main reason that myself and my family will visit again, I honestly loved them so much!!!! Top class, five star service!!!!!!!
J. M.
Brilliant place to stay highly recommend it.
G. C.
Beautiful hotel. Spotless throughout. Great staff. Massive modern room and en suite. Restaurant iffy

Sitting eating lovely pancakes (with extra maple syrup). Beautiful view. Very friendly staff. No complaints. I definitely plan to stay again. Staff really are a great asset. ❤️

Our granddaughters communion was made so special this week by the attention of Paula and her staff to detail - we dined outside- the food was superb - the staff so attentive - we have decided to make the The Marine Hotel our venue for further family occasions - during these unprecedented times congratulations to The Marine for giving us a day to remember -

Had our wedding in the marine Hotel three years ago it was an amazing day thanks to all the great staff. Booked a meal in Cucinos restaurant for our anniversary and the food was out of this world. And Connie who dropped by to say hello and wish us a happy anniversary made it a great night. Would highly recommend the Marine hotel Sutton.
D. B.
A super send off to my mam Patricia Keogh. The meal was beautiful & they cater for many special diets(gluten free). 😁 The staff are really friendly, helpful & know their jobs. Thank you ❤️
D. T.
The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. All my guests were satisfied with the service. The room was wheelchair accessible and airy.
G. L.
I've eaten at the restaurant 4-5 times since it opened just over a year ago and it's always been a "grand" local eaterie. However it now appears to have gone up a notch. Food was excellent. Service was always pleasant and still is and they now seem to have got their timing down pat. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 1 beer, 1 soft drink, 1 coffee...€65. good value for the quality on offer. One criticism would be that the wine would appear to be quite overpriced they really need to take that on board
L. G.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms were fantastically modern after what I assume was a recent upgrade. Bar staff super friendly and went above and beyond to please.
C. D.
Lovely hotel - staff very friendly. Fantastic location with stunning views. If I have one downer on the day we were there, they seemed to have a lot of new inexperienced staff which left service in the bar/ deli very slow and frustrating. However we'll definitely be back.
Z. A. A.
Good location if you are visiting Howth or Sutton beach nice place to stop and sleep.
C. M.
It doesn't have any atmosphere. The Bar/Lounge is like a hospital waiting room the way it's laid out. It was a bit better before they change it. It's sister Hotel in Malahide (The Grand) is a much nicer hotel all round. It looks like 'any owld hotel is good enough for the Northsiders! The owners could do with putting some money into doing it up, if they did, more people over time would use it more. It's best client's seemly are people using it for funeral purposes. Maybe the owners are looking to sell it off into the future for apartments. Maybe that's why there is no interest in doing it up by the current owner's.
J. M.
This hotel is reenergized with very comfortable brand new rooms and very courteous fast service . Stayed here 2 days and can happily recommend it over others in the Dublin north east area .breakfast was great with very nice swimming pool . Thumbs up !
S. B.
Went to a wedding here, the meals for our table were brought out randomly with 4-5 minutes between the start and ending of service for each course. The bar in the function room was understaffed forcing most to use the hotel bar. I wouldn't fault the staff, there just didn't seem to be enough of them.
P. H.
Personally speaking apart from the aged curtains I preferred the old wooden stlyle Marine..meals are ok. What sells it are the staff who serve. Very attentive pleasant and always there to please. And the view of the sea us to die for. Have to say as I live in Dublin I have never stayed o/ night but lovely place for a wedding.
M. A.
4 stars for the room, it's great view (and access) to the sea and equipment.
The service and overall cleanliness is lacking though (3 stars): e.g. tables weren't wiped, egg was lying on the floor but no one cared attending (for 30 min.and more). Staff seems not so motivated...
C. B.
Many thanks to Connie & team for fcilitating our party of 50 on Friday night. We had an 'at home' feeling with the staff & received the best of hospitality & services from 6pm until midnight. The food was delicious with service provided exactly as requested allowing for speeches as best suited us.
C. M. G.
I went here with the Senior Citizens from Ballyboughal for afternoon tea. It was a very dreary day but the views of the sea were still beautiful. The staff couldn't have been more helpful to everyone. Caroline the banqueting manager had everything ready including a beautiful Birthday Cake for Bridget who was 88. A special mention for Connie who looked after everyone and acted as photographer.we will be back.
F. B.
To enter the car park is difficult because of the location at cross road junction. The food we had was dinner, and it presentation and taste was excellent. Service personal could have been little more professional but otherwise excellent. The rear garden has a beautiful backdrop of the sea and the hill of Howth, Dublin Bay, Dollymount Strand, and in the distance South Dublin coast line and Sugar Loaf in Wicklow.
T. L.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful, the food was lovely and the scenery was fantastic just a bit cold for outside dining

One of the reasons why I stayed at this hotel was because it's mostly positive reviews. It's location relative to Dublin city and other small towns seems to be the main attraction for this hotel. As mentioned in other reviews the rooms are very small with no A/C, yes it's an older hotel but on warm days the bedrooms probably get very stuffy with opening the window not offering much ventilation.
If you stay in a non refurbished room my opinion is you'll find out they are dated. While the hotel Is clean, my biggest issue is with the customer service and the lack of non-friendly Irish welcome you get with the staff. After a 16hr flight and been told you need to upgrade the room or else!! because it wasn't very clear that when you book a room you're booking a room for one person and that's it, having a second person stay in the room there's an extra charge. Speaking of a 2nd person if you sleeping in one bed the bed we had was a large single but not really too comfortable for two people. While anyone from the US will know that if you book a USA hotel room there is never a charge for the second person staying with you. This hotel will charge you for two people staying in one room.
My biggest issue with this hotel is when we went down for breakfast the next morning, I made a simple request for a grilled cheese sandwich, only to be told by the waitress "I can ask the chief but I already know the answer" which is no. For $12 euro while a selection of cheeses is on the limited menu I never saw, anyhow difficult could've have been? It's just an example of how the hotel management have a tight leash on cost which results in a review like this over a simple cheese sandwich request. I can't blame the waitress since she's only doing her job. I was born and raised in Dublin and when growing up here often past this hotel wondering about it, now that I've stayed at it my impression is as my gf joked about it, it's like a 5* motel 6 in the US which seems about right. Only reason I stayed here b/c of a wedding function at the same hotel, but due to the small dated rooms, no A/c in the room and poor service I will never be back. When I was checking out the desk person did I ask for is everything OK but to be really honest I couldn't be bothered discussing my thoughts as they probably couldn't be bothered hearing them.

I enjoyed a dinner, with others, in the Marine Hotel lately. It was excellent and delicious. The staff are so careful in attending to the needs of customers. Well done to them all.
M. B.
Dinner needed reheating but was done with grace!
Needs a face lift to fit in with rest of the hotel. Leather banquette torn and sponge bursting out of it
Beautiful setting.
Friendly staff.
K. W.
Room was superb. Staff very friendly and food was very good too. Would defo recommend
M. F.
Room small for a double. No fridge and small gripe but basic tv channels. Great view as we had a back room. And really lovely staff.
A. K.
Lovley place, ameizing food. 🍲☘️Friendly staff 😊😊😊
A. O.
Beautifully located at Sutton cross the beach at rear of hotel is magic swimming pool too over all Great place to have a function
S. C.
Nice sea views from most guest rooms. The hotel has a small swimming pool open to guests. No lifeguard present.
Homely, relaxing bar and good bar menu in the hotel. There is also an Italian restaurant in hotel.
You prebook for this. Good connections to Dublin city with Dart and bus service nearby. Village of Howth in
close proximity with various attractions.
T. E.
Have always liked this place. Great pint, love the fish and chips and the staff are always great. The recently renovated rooms are really good as well.
P. O.
Lovely, big room with very friendly and accommodating staff. A short walk out to the beach with all amenities close by. They offer a late check out of 2:00 pm which was a nice change. Will definitely return.
E. L.
Breakfast very good. Evening meal in bar very poor with cold potatoes and vegetables. When requested there were no warm mashed potatoes available from kitchen at 7.30pm.
R.
Absolutely loved this hotel. Attended a wedding here, and was extremely lovely. Great staff, and beautiful hotel and grounds. Scenery is stunning. Highly recommend.
F. S.
Excellent. The staff was amazing and did everything to accommodate our group to the highest standard.
J. H.
Wonderful hotel. Stayed in a room at the back and had a sumptious view of Dublin Bay. Great breakfast with the best scrambled eggs ever. So hat tip to the chef.
G. G.
Was my first time at Marine hotel in Howth. It was a lovely place to spend an afternoon. Watching football, a few pints in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Hence my five star rating
S. C. K.
Friday Carvery - thinking it would be very busy we phoned ahead and reserved a table but we needn't have worried on this occasion. Carvery was lovely, service grand and setting is very pleasant. We didn't go into the grounds as there was a wedding due and so preparations were in full swing but worth a visit outside especially when the weather is good.
c. M.
I go Here quite regularly .I find the staff great .food lovely .it isa very family friendly hotel . there is a lovely garden facing on to the sea so if you had childten with you , on a nice day they could play while you had a cofee or a drink .
L. M.
Needs refurbishment. And better cleaning.
D. C.
Had evening meal @7.00. ate meal in beautiful rear garden with view on Dublin port. Food great even better since sun was shining and service was great. Cost very reasonable for quality of meal.
K. C.
Going to the Marine Hotel for a very long time. Brilliant place lovely staff. I would recommend the Marine Hotel for all occasions. Disabled friendly
A. S.
Nice location, but the food is not that good. Also had a minor situation with my booking and it took some time and intervention to sort it out, when it could have been done quite easy...yet this is perhaps my bad luck of not reaching out to the proper reception employee.
P. T.
Peter and Irene are excellent hosts our experience was fantastic
D. J.
Yes lovely hotel, it was absolutely packed when I was there with weddings, confirmations, and a funeral on but we had excellent service with good food etc. Normally a peaceful place with gardens to sit in and a lovely view of the sea.
M. C.
Nice hotel and set on lovely grounds with nice views of Dublin bay.
Also serves good food.
Gym and swimming pool available to member's and hotel guests.
Close to howth fishing harbour.
The area has some beautiful walks.
Dublin city centre is about 40 minutes on the bus. And 20 minutes to Dublin airport by car.
O. D.
Very pleasant atmosphere with bright spacious décor and tremendously friendly, polite staff. Unbeatable location, sitting right on Dublin Bay (which provides excellent views as well as a wonderful setting for an afternoon stroll), with the nearest DART station only 5 minutes' walk away for convenient access to the city centre and other locations; it's also close to Howth, Portmarnock and Malahide.
P. C.
Great staff. Very clean. Great food
Would stay again in a hary beat
B. L.
Laid back friendly hotel.Probably the best view seaview of any hotel in Dublin with sweep of the bay through a corridor of trees with access to the beaçh.
B. Q.
What a lovely settling , great for a walk on the beach or into Howth. Great pool too, food and bar excellent. Room had a lovely view..but a bit chilly! Great value too
K. H.
Wonderful! Staff amazing! Bar and restaurants with delicious food. Could use an electrical update and some air circulation needed, bathroom and room fans might help.
M. S.
Nice room. Room was hot. Restaurant and bar ran out of food due to private parties. Luckily there is a super awesome Asian restaurant across the street.
e. n.
Great friendly staff. We came in with a funeral . Organised arrangement!. The hotel was freeeezzzzzing especially function room. 🙄🙄🙄🙄. After being at a grave in the bitter cold. Food was lovely.

This hotel has it all really. Bar, cafe, restraunt, Italian restaurant, function room, down stairs 'hang out' area, reception area, hotel, outdoor garden area, gate to beach, buffet for breakfast and lunch, elivators, ramps, ample parking, car park, Tv's, free WiFi and unbelievable indoor swimming pool. No complaints about this fabulous hotel at such a great price

I was invited to a 30th Birthday Party of my daughter's friend here at the Marine in Sutton just a few weeks ago .While everything about the party was lovely ...lovely function room lovely food etc what stands out most for me was the dedication of one of your staff members Connie was her name to each and everyone at that party .But mostly to the guests who had a disability .I watched her give special attention to their enjoyment on the night .She went over and above to see that they got their food and teas and coffee safely to the table and cared for every little detail .Well done Connie and congrats Marine for having such lovely staff if really makes such a difference!😊
D.
Great spot great food great location for cycling great pool great staff. Will come again. Thanks for your hospitality.
P. E.
The Marine has been a regular haunt of ours, since we were married here, many years ago.
Once inside, you are greeted by happy smiling faces all round.
We usually drop in for an evening snack, which varies from a chicken tagliatelle to fish and chips.Washed down with a glass of sauvignon blanc and a pint for me,what more could a body ask for. We all deserve treats like this, on a regular basis.
B. M.
Not a bad hotel at all. Pool isn't great for kids and the junction outside could give you nightmares. Handy to local shops and Dart station is a short walk away.
M. H.
Really well run hotel and restaurant. Super friendly and helpful staff! Food in the restaurant was good, wholesome dishes, local produce, tasty and well presented.
H. L.
Perfect place for a staycation! comfy room with a sea view & a bath! Reasonable price highlu recommended!

This is a really good hotel.Great service from friendly staff.plenty of parking and very scenic outdoor area at the back of the hotel. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool and great food.

I visited here during the weekend of the music Festivals in malahide park. Staff running around like headless chickens while senior staff members seemed to adopt a hands off approach to everything. Chaotic seemed to be very short staffed
M. F. P.
Easy to find, great facilities, lovely food, great view of seafront. Carpark entry is easy to confuse with part of the main road and breakfast was a bit small, otherwise highly recommend a stay
N. T.
Only stayed overnight but was a beautiful room with plenty of space. The garden runs right down to the beach. Would like to go back and explore a little more and would definitely stay here again

Excellent location. Courtious staff and clean & tidy rooms. Great bar & restaurant.
D. H.
Attended the vintage fair there today, met some fantastic traders who were very helpful. Great range of stands.
S. B.
Went to a wedding here, the meals for our table were brought out randomly with 4-5 minutes between the start and ending of service for each course. The bar in the function room was understaffed forcing most to use the hotel bar. I wouldn't fault the staff, there just didn't seem to be enough of them.
E. M.
Charming old world 'three star style' hotel popular for Sunday lunch - carvery and restaurant
with stunning views of the water and an entrance to the water front directly from the hotel.
D. C.
There for a family lunch following a funeral and brilliantly well looked after by Tina, Connie and Iva.
Food was fabulous.
Thanks to all
