C. M.Very welcoming front desk staff. Good bar service & very nice breakfast. Comfortable room, modern decor. The bathroom was a bit dated and the shower was weak. There were not enough sockets in the bedroom. Air conditioning was strong and there was a good mini fridge. Parking is €10 per day and the spaces are small. Overall very nice stay.
A. M.Myself and my husband arrived on December 24th for our 3 night Christmas break, from the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Tommy and his team in the restaurant were absolutely outstanding. The food was amazing for every meal. Will definitely recommend this fabulous hotel. Well done the Harbour Hotel
S. B.Lovely place to stay for a night or two because of location.. Breakfast was really good and fresh, warm, variety was all top class.. Hotel bar, was very nice and great staff.. now when it came to the sky light bedroom was the room we were given it was very small with the worst bathroom door ever, you'd have to see it to understand. The noise from the fan in the bathroom was sooo loud..but the bathroom itself was beautiful and very clean with loads of towels... we got a dressing gown each with slippers which I think is a lovely touch..

The shower in the room wasn’t that great. The pressure in the shower was week.
But the size of the bed, the mattress the cleaning.. all brilliant.
Breakfast was good. Different types of bread. There was tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding, potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, cheese, cereal, fruits, etc .
I asked for a frie egg and they were happy to do it for me.
The dinner was good. I didn’t like the cheesecake but the meat was amazing.
L.Amazing hotel, great location and lovely staff. The Barman Cyprian was a gent and knows his whiskey. All the staff are very helpful and the food is delicious. Highly rate

Plus points, it's near to city center and they serve full Irish breakfast.
Minus points.. their staff is quite rude(As per the conversation over shower gel and checkout with receptionist)
Bathroom had head shower and we got only one shower cap, can't understand if room is booked for two people management want one of us to take head bath always?
Again only one sachet of bath gel was provided which was kind of not enough and I REQUESTED receptionist for one more bath gel, I was told that they don't have any and there is a shop on the road where I can purchase this and this was around 10:30 pm.
Checkout time is 3 pm as per their website, but we received call at 12:30 if we can checkout or they can add another day on the bill ..
Like seriously, it's a 4 star??
It's a big NO to stay in this hotel again.
M. O. C.Room was amazing with a lovely shower etc, bed very comfortable. We had food in the restaurant downstairs which was excellent. We were squeezed in without a reservation which was very good of them.

1.Great location 5 minute walk to the Latin quarter, amazing breakfast, restaurant very good, MUST download voicemap details are in lifts gives you guided tour of the city. On downside have to pay for parking
A. M.Booked a trip for 6 adults and can honestly say the staff was the best part of the stay. Rooms were great, clean and the hotel really managed to make the stay COVID friendly!
The diner at Dillisk on the Docks was delicious and everyone was served quickly and at the same time.
The hotel is 2min away from the city centre, I highly recommend the place.

R. T.Lovely hotel on the harbour-front in Galway. Only spent one night and had breakfast, so didn't spend too much time at the hotel / interacting with staff as we were out and about in Galway city. Anyone we did interact with was very helpful. Breakfast was decent and room was comfortable and quiet. Only minor quibble was the shower could have been more powerful. Would definitely stay again

C. O.Lovely hotel. Really modern and very comfortable. The bar and reception area has loads of seating and plugs for working. The staff are just brilliant. The car park was really handy. The only downside was that the double bed was actually 2 single beds shoved together (which were slightly different heights) and covered.

P. S.My first visit to this hotel and definitely not my last. I spent a lovely afternoon enjoying catching up with family over coffee and their fab scones with fresh cream and jam. The staff were lovely. With plenty of parking close by it was one of the most relaxing afternoons I have had in Galway city.
J. I.Harbor hotel is beautiful! The decor beautiful for Easter. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made our stay very comfortable. When we went, they were preparing for a large conference but they were still attentive to us and made us feel important. The continental breakfast was delicious!

s. h.Nice clean rooms but staff under pressure due to wedding/ wedding party therefore not much info regarding breakfast times/breakfast venue or where lift. Had to then ring down for the towels etc as they only catered for two people even though three sharing. The staff were friendly and accommodating though and the breakfast was good 😄

J. C.I live in Galway so have not stayed overnight at the Harbour Hotel. However, I have attended many meetings and enjoyed their excellent cuisine. On one occasion I recall returning from a multi country holiday with some great eating experiences but none to match the quality of the meal enjoyed at the Harbour Hotel. It is located within easy walking distance to Galway City centre and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
M. E. V.We stayed one night at the Harbour Hotel while visiting Galway. The room wasn't anything fancy, but was clean and a nice size. The bathroom was clean, though the water pressure left a lot to be desired. The room was very hot, but opening the windows helped. The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel was in walking distance to many restaurants, shops, pubs, and cafes (and obviously the harbor). I would recommend for a short stay, especially if you're not planning on spending much time in the room.

M. D.Have just left this hotel after a hen weekend and cannot recommended highly enough. From the minute I contacted to the minute we left the staff were so courteous and helpful. The accommodation and food were also fantastic. It is literally a 4 minute walk to shop street. A lovely hotel for couples also and bar entertainment both nights. I will definitely be back in the not too distant future.

E. B.Location was fabulous, super close to all the downtown sights and amenities. Would stay here for that reason alone, but it was also a very nice hotel. Rooms were well laid out and executive level had nice water/tea/coffee options. Wifi was decent, but flaked out a bit in the evening (high use time we suspected). Bathroom was comfortable size, but the shower could have used a curved shower curtain, was never hot enough, and head mediocre water pressure. The parking was not well advertised re:cost on website and the garage was TIGHT (many paint scrapings along the side of the entrance). Overall though, very nice and well priced hotel.
A. C.A 21st birthday party was booked in the ballroom the night of our stay. We were on the 3rd floor and could hear the music until 1AM. Our room was above the main entrance so kids lingered, were loud and getting in fights. Kept us up all night. We received an apology from the front desk but that was it. Room was nice but no A/C. Good location. When we checked in, the front desk was very helpful with planning our walking excursions.
E.We had an excelent stay at the Harbour Hotel in Galway. The rooms were pretty and clean, the personal was always friendly we only had 5 minutes to walk to the city center. The only thing that was missing was the view over the sea. ;-)
A. U.I would honestly give it a 3.5, but that’s not an option, and it wasn’t as low as a 3, so 4 it is. :) The service was amazing. Particularly our wait staff, Luiza and Ronan who took such great care of us at the bar and dinner. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Aofie (spelling) who efficiently & quickly handled our check-in and most importantly, was SO KIND in listening to what kind of fun we were looking for and recommending the best bars/places to go! We had so much fun. Dinner was good. Drinks were good. The common areas were nice. The room was the main downfall... bed was very uncomfortable. Lots of rusty areas in the bathroom and things that appeared dirty, but were probably stained... walls were super scuffed. Floor in entryway was in poor condition. No washcloths in bathroom. No lotion. Nowhere to plug your phone in to charge by the bed. My adapter has worked elsewhere, but this was a weird outlet and nothing would fit. Breakfast was just ok. Anyway, we had a good time nonetheless.
D. B.I stayed here 2 years ago and it was really nice. I loved the spacious room and comfy bed. I wish I could have stayed an extra night. The breakfast was good too. Worth a look if you want a hotel.
A. R.Friendly reception staff. Room was next to road so quite noisy. There were xmas party in the restaurant so couldnt get a booking for dinner. Rang reception to ask for a bucket of ice but no answer. Had to brave the crowd in bar. Reception rang back when they saw the missed calls. Decent breakfast. Have to pay for parking - €8 a day. Really good location and would stay again.
P. C.Sean in the bar , Patricia and Rouie at the front desk are absolutely fantastic. Every meal was an outstanding experience. I cannot tell you how much I was pleasanty surprised each day by the staff making sure everything was as perfect as possible. Excellent.. period.
S. R.My soup was lovely, A bit disappointed with the quality of the other food here for the price 27€ for the steak 🥩 and the chips were huge and soggy. My beans and asparagus went cold pretty fast and the salmon had been well over cooked. Was a shame. I didn’t say anything myself but my partner was asked by 2 waitresses how the food was he told both of them about the chips one didn’t care so much and agreed with him and the other got extremely offended to the point she was absolutely gob smacked then I myself was in absolute shock my partner said this in the nicest way possible assuring the women it was obviously not her fault the chips were so soggy. He just wanted something Crunchy with his meal like normal chips. These chips too seemed over cooked in colour but really soft and soggy. His words were that the chips weren’t for him.
Apart from that the restaurant itself is lovely and the hotel was very attractive between the decor and furnishings.
Staff otherwise were professional and helpful at reception. Although when we were in the lecture it did seem like a staff member who came and stood beside the window outside where I was sat in a conference room, to smoke and he coughed his lungs up for about ten mins. That now actually was disgusting
I smoke myself but this was so bad I made a joke that I wondered what they were smoking 😂 but I really wanted to pull the blind back and tell him to f*** off 😟 and cough somewhere else. There was about 100 of us sat listening to him

m. b.Modern facility. Business travellers might rate it higher, but I found it much like an alien spaceship. The music played from breakfast to 10 pm was way too loud throughout the hotel. Definitely not for tourists or vacationers over the age of 40. One staff member explained that Galway is very much a student town and students had just returned. Staff were polite when addressed individually, but were otherwise oblivious to the presence of customers. I would not return.
C. A.3.5 if I could give it. Hotel front, lobby and bar/restaurant were nice. 4 stars. Rooms were ok 3 star total because the bathroom really needed some work. Tub drain and surround were pretty gross. Location is good. With 10 minute or less walk to train station, bus station, Quay St. and the main square.
J. D.Not impressed. My fourth hotel in Ireland and it is lacking. Loud fan in bathroom when light is on and then for 2 minutes after light is turned off. Staff is professional, but not very welcoming. Window larches are all broken and wind makes loud howl as it comes through a partially closed window. Overall room quality is extremely average.

The bathroom air device is annoying. Pne cannot turn it pff unless tutning off all ligjt. On the whole it is great and rooms are clean, etc

t. t.My friends and I went to Harbour Hotel Restaurant at New Years Eve for a dinner and new year eve celebration.
I really enjoyed the dinner part of that evening. The food was really tasty and well prepared.
Service was nice and helpful.
Unfortunately we didn't get a "Glass of Bubbly" that was promised with New Years Menu...
Another disapointment was the fact that there was no music to which we could dance. Before booking that night we asked if this will be available and we got confirmation. After the midnight we left in a mission to find a place where we could find some music and a dance floor.
I would recommend Harbour Hotel as a place for a nice and tasty dinner however not as a place for a event such as New Years Eve.

V.The Rooms are kinda small, at least that one, and I believe there are apartments right near the docks, so you will hear drunk folks coming in late at night if youre on that side of the buidling, but the staff at the front desk are wonderful, they always called taxis for me, and helped me with anything I asked, the restaurant on the other hand was pretty bad, I was constantly ignored, I asked for a beer, and got it when I was done with my meal and at that point I didnt even want it! and it wasnt even busy, this happened twice before I just began going out to eat during my stay there.
