V. W.Myself and 7 friends are back from a wonderful stay. Helena and her family couldn’t do enough for us and we really felt like we got 5 star treatment. We had a wonderful afternoon tea , great fun kayaking and swimming and saying hello to the beautiful dogs. The night needed sitting down by the lake with a fire pit lit and stocked up for us looking at the moon over the lake. We will be back it’s the most wonderful place … beautiful rooms, food and location and such great value. It was better than a 5 star hotel!

Views are fantastic. And the kayaks and boat are a great addition kids loved there trips on the lake. Would highly reccomend
D.Lovely family run hotel. Fantastic location on the side of a lake, they left out Kayaks (with paddles and life vests) for us that we could just take and good for a paddle. The COVID times dinner was a lovely BBQ option, they cooked the sides and provided us with steaks / hot dogs etc to cook on the BBQ. There were two lovely Bernese mountain dogs to pet and play with, very well behaved during our meal.

E.Lovely place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and they have a fantastic breakfast. I love the bread. You can actually buy some stuff too. There is a little lake behind which is lovely to sit by the grass and look at. Ah! they also have a nice range of dvd's if you fancy a cosy evening watching movies in bed.

S. M.Excellent in every aspect: beautifully appointed bedroom and shower; location convenient to many sites in Ireland's Ancient East; delicious breakfast cooked to order. Only an hour from Dublin Airport, yet feels miles away from the hustle and bustle. Delightful hosts!

Booked the accommodation well in advance and the whole cost was payed in advance; learning on the day of departure that a mistake was made and one extra night has to be paid. No apology nor offer for discount despite it was a stay over 1 week.
