Beautiful B&B just five minutes away from Kilkenny city centre with a very welcoming and friendly Lady host!
The room and the private bathroom were very spacious and clean with lots of facilities, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic.....the Lady prepared a wonderful porridge, surely one of the best I have ever had!
Absolutely recommended! 👍
We spent one night In this b n b and from the moment we stepped in it was a warm welcome with a friendly lady, I had booked a room which I thought was a double turned out to be 2 single beds and there was 4 of us (2+2kid) entirely my fault but the pleasent lady quickly changed our room and made no issue out of it at all, beds and pillows were super comfy and breakfast the next morning was unreal so tasty with lots of tea juice toast and cereal among a full Irish, the man and girl the Next morning were pleasent and chatty. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back 👍🏻👌🏻😁
The people are very friendly and the breakfast is perfect 👌🏻. The bathroom was just a little bit small
Great stay. Will be back.
Room was beautiful, pleasant hospitality but shower facilities can better
Super friendly host
Cozy bed and breakfast with friendly owner.
Just a few minutes drive from Kilkenny city centre.
The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious. There is also a slide and a swing outside on a large lawn for children.
Well organized and very close to the centre. Small but clean and well furnished room
Nice hosts and nice rooms
David is an amazing host at this lovely little B&B. The breakfast each morning is absolutely delicious, the rooms are clean with en suites, and you have a TV and kettle in your room in case you want a nice evening in. If you prefer an evening out, you are just a 10 minute walk into the city (or a 3 minute drive). David always has good recommendations for things to get into around Kilkenny. Would absolutely recommend staying here!
Such an amazing B&B with great hosts David and Sharon. Who I felt went above and beyond of us at our stay. We stayed in room 7. Which is the small Double room. The room was perfect and very Cosy and very clean. The shower and bathroom facilities we also very clean with nice towels and shampoo to use. We woke up at 9 and had our breakfast in their lounge area for 10 o’clock. We got the full Irish which was lovely. Would highly recommend staying here as it is only a 10 minute walk from Kilkenny town, or 8€ in a taxi. Very local indeed. There is also no curfew on this B&B you just gotta respect other people and be quite. Thanks guys for a lovely experience.
Had a great stay. Hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I was attending a wedding nearby and they offered to drop us over and pick us up. One of our daughters left her car at the hotel and they offered to give her a lift to pick it up the next day.
Nice Staff and the rooms are good for the Prince. 5 stars
Full irish breakfast is stunning ;-)
Calm, location, very clean , staff was very helpful and polite. We felt very welcomed.
David great host. Thanks a lot!
Excellent place with great hosts
The hotel is located a bit outside, but is very easy to reach by car. The owner is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared. The rooms are cozy and clean. Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit noisy, as guests arrived at 11 p.m. during our stay. Even though they didn't talk particularly loudly, it still woke us up.
The B&B is a 25-minute walk from the center. That's why we chose this B&B. The welcome was warm, you have to choose breakfast the day before. The food was good, but after 20 minutes we were asked whether we were ready so that the next guest could eat. Everything seems very hectic.
The room needs to be renovated, the floor is totally cracking, the toilet keeps running forever and the shower has its best days behind it. There was no WiFi either, even though it was in the description.
Nevertheless, the operator was very nice to us.
The attention was good, the breakfasts are not what you see in the pictures, as usually happens.
We asked if the rooms could be without stairs, at least one of two and we were given the two on the 1st floor, having to split up. cleaning, maybe it should be done more than once a week...
It needs a renovation, especially the bathroom and comfort in the rooms, since there is no room where you can relax during the day, watch TV or read comfortably.
The bathroom did not have a sink, the sink was inside the room.
For another sale, it is not suitable for people with little or no mobility, there are steps despite being downstairs...
Yes, of course, he took care of you and was very kind.
My husband, I and our three year old daughter stayed here for one night. The owners are very kind and very helpful, so much so that the lady showed us how to get to the center of Kilkenny both on foot and by car and where to eat (very nice typical place). The room was very spacious and equipped with a tea corner, the only shame was the bathroom which, although quite clean, had a broken shower cubicle and a bit of mold on the sides... the only flaw really.||Plenty of breakfast and Good
Having traveled in August we preferred to book the nights in advance and this was the only one available in Kilkenny... and luckily!! In the confirmation email, the owner promised me a "lovely room" and so it was. The room was very welcoming, clean, spacious and equipped with all comforts. The only flaw remains the carpet (even in the bathroom :/ )... but I understand that in Ireland (as in England) it is a must that is difficult to do without. The owner gave us the room upon arrival at 2pm even though the normal check in time was from 4pm onwards (we didn't know this and therefore hadn't notified us beforehand). ||Good breakfast, I tried the porridge for the first time and I must say it was delicious! ||Kilkenny is about 20 minutes walk from the b&b and 5 minutes by car (in the centre, there are mostly paid car parks).
Good quality B&B, with nice rooms (even if small), excellent availability of the owners who do their utmost to give all the necessary information.|Close to the center just 5 minutes by car.|Good quality/price ratio. Recommended for anyone wanting to visit Killkenny.
This b&b is a little out of the way, but still not too far from the center |The hostess is super nice, tries to speak French and is good at it|On the other hand, the room is very small, and poorly laid out to the point that we cannot leaving two suitcases open at the same time | The two joined single beds take up a lot of space and one creaks and leans
