Ard Na Sidhe is a beautiful country house, nestled on Lake Caragh in stunning Kerry. The house and gardens were extremely peaceful and the food and hospitality staff were all incredible. We enjoyed a 5 night stay as part of our Honeymoon, would highly recommend Ard Na Sidhe for a honeymoon, weekend getaway or as a base for exploring the amazing ring of Kerry.

Ard na Sidhe near Killorglin Ireland is a most beautiful place, a hidden gem, semi-secret. We highly recommend it and will certainly come back again. The Team are amazing: real professionals and so nice people like Sandra, Mary and Debbie make your feel as if you were staying in their own home. Hannah in the lounge was very kind to us also on our first evening. David chef de cuisine prepared beautiful dishes at dinner, local Irish and European. The breakfasts are a delight. The gardens are so beautiful, swimming in the lake was a treat and refreshing. The wild dear that cam to the garden...We miss the place. Top class and thank you to the Team there for a super holiday.

I’ve stayed at Ard and Sidhe twice. It’s very tranquil beautifully located and I can’t wait to go back. As you can see from this pic and the others it’s an old country house furnished to a very high standard. The food is good and you get that charming Irish hospitality in bucketloads. Not far from Killorglin but far enough away to have that special seclusion on the shore of the lake.

It's really hard to completely put into words how beautiful this hotel is. Be warned, if the narrow roads of Ireland make you uneasy, you won't like getting here. But it's well worth it once you arrive. The grounds are as beautiful as the mansion-turned-hotel. It got a bit buggy in the evening, but it was nice until the swarm found us. Ard Na Sidhe Hotel was among the highlights of our trip to and around Ireland, and we wished we could have stayed longer.

It's a really nice place to stay with a beautiful garden/park attached to it. The road to get there however is quite narrow but that's to be expected when you drive in Ireland. The food was really good as well and they have really friendly staff.

Beautiful small hotel. Expensive but worth it. Excellent service. I would happily return for the gardens alone. The gardens are over 100 years old and absolutely amazing! Lovely walks available down to the lake front and around the grounds. Rooms were superb. We ate there two nights and the food was very good.

STORYBOOK PERFECTION and a gift from the past, in the form of grand, waterside gardens amid hills, are my main memories of Ar Na Sidhe. The decor is country home ideal and includes a drinks/table games room that I would never have left if I could have managed it. I slept well, very well. I ate well. My manners improved.

This place is purely magical. Do NOT stay here when the weather is even slightly warm though. Upper floor rooms with the combination of poor ventilation and no ac will feel staggering. Fan on my face all night with an open window and I woke up sick. Staff was as equally pleasant as the views, and I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful "manor style" house. It was built in the 20th century so it's not that old but it's very nice. GREAT WATER PRESSURE. No TVs in the rooms, the dining area is a bit fancy as well, no shorts.

Very quiet location, right on the lake. The journey to the accommodation is a little more difficult. Through the forest on a very narrow road. Unfortunately we stayed in the guest house next to the main house.

Very nice hotel in a remote location (approx. 45 minutes drive to Killarny). English style; only a few rooms that are comfortably furnished. Restaurant area with a pleasant atmosphere and stylishly furnished. No trace of excessively modern bells and whistles. There is also no TV here - at least in the room I visited, although I assume that there are no TVs in the other guest rooms either. Very suitable for a shorter romantic vacation as there are no major distractions. Very nice and well-kept park with not-so-shy deer. The gardeners are busy maintaining the park all year round, although the hotel is closed in the winter season. A simply wonderful ensemble, nature lovers will love this property. One of the Liebherr family's 3 hotels in Ireland.

The rating refers exclusively to the location, view, outdoor area, here a large park and the building from the outside. Everything was very well maintained and stately. At the latest in the room prices it becomes clear that the costs for this also have to be passed on. For those who don't have to be embarrassed by this, it is certainly an interesting place to live.

Here again, absolute top class. Rather a bit stiff style. House was a castle. Everything is very elegantly designed. Prices clearly in the high price segment but definitely recommended.
