The rooms were comfortable , meticulously clean, and quiet. This will definitely be on my list to return to. Highly recommend.
M. O.Food gorgeous and lovely staff however, my 3 year old daughter wanted lasagne and they weren't willing to do a child portion instead charged us the full portion rate. They said the usual do you want to look at the children's menu. Left a sour taste for me and my wife. Most places would be a little more obliging especially with young kids.
D. O.I’ve been coming to the Bellbridge for many years, it’s always been a delight! Accommodating staff, flexible with many situations (my mother is in a wheelchair and they’ve always been great).
The staff are well trained and have a very positive attitude, can’t speak highly enough of this place.
While this review is mentioning our most recent visit/meal - I’m speaking for over 30 years of interaction with this hotel - well worth a visit or stay! Prices are reflected in the hotel/decor, but well below the 5 star welcome and professionalism of staff.
P. H.Hi, stayed in your hotel a week or so ago and have eaten there quiet a few times. Had a lovely stay there, staff excellent and very friendly and helpful. Would just like to point out a couple of things. Bedroom 44 bathroom, bin under wash hand Bason should be moved to other side as the shelf is too close to sink and when bending down to use bin banged head & am lucky not my eye. Food was lovely 1st night but disappointed on 2nd night as fish was dry and tough to eat, this was a one off as have eaten there quiet a few times and was very pleased with food and service. Thank you for a lovely stay and Would highly recommend your hotel. We'll done.

D. R.The Staff went over & above to make our dining experience special. David the Manager took fantastic care of us. We dined outdoors which meant a walk up & down stairs numerous times for the waiting staff who did not mind at all. The food was fabulous together with the stunning views over Spanish Point made it a really enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend the Bellbridge for a quick bite, cup of coffee, icecream treat, any meal or an overnight stay! You won't be disappointed
O. F.Main courses, hake, curryand steak were very good good portions nice veg selection. The Eton Mess was very disappointing 70% cream, very little meringue and pretty low on Strawberrys also, lots of strawberry sauce used to cover up the difference. (Lost a full star for how bad this was)
Current covid facilities are great well covered, lots of space but having to pay for everything inside is fine for ordering your meal but a pain when you want to ask for an extra drink for a child.

Staff go far and beyond with the level of service, with extra cleaning measures in place due to Covid which makes this Hotel one of best Hotels I have stayed in.
Special thanks to Mary in the evening restaurant, and Laura on the breakfast, they could not have been any more helpful. Also thanks to chef Mary on the breakfast, such a delicious omelette and presentation was superb.

As a single traveller it is becoming more difficult to get single rates as any single will know but Bellbridge House Hotel provides single rooms without supplement ie. half the cost of double or twin. However it was also half the size but spotlessly clean with full supply of all the usuals such as tea coffee making facility, hairdryer and all washing needs supplied in bathroom. In spite of hotel being very busy I felt quite safe in relation to covid. Full compliance evident throughout hotel. Food excellent, service excellent. Lovely staff. So 4 stars to hotel and full 5 stars to staff. Will be back.

The food. The food is unbelievable. We did not expect to get the dinner we were served with, we both agreed it was the best meal we've had on our trip. We went with all seafood options with Sea-bass as a mains and it really felt and tasted like fine dining. The chef really knows what he's doing and must take a lot of pride in his work.
The bar is lovely as well but nothing can compare to the restaurant.

a. m. c.We have just spent 2 nights in The Bellbridge House Hotel. Everything about our stay was amazing. The hotel is spotless. All covid restrictions are followed perfectly. The rooms are beautiful in a fab setting. The staff are so good helpful and obliging. The food in the restaurant is Superb. And Ann Marie and Mary the 2 ladies that served our meals were outstanding. Both so friendly. And so smiling and super efficient. .. The supervisor in the Breakfast room was so lovely too. .. Thank you for a amazing stay we wil definetly be back. Highly recommend.

L. R. R.Firstly there is good amount of parking here and the disabled parking is very close to the entrance. Toilet facilities are spacious and good access. The staff were attentive. We ate from the bar menu and the food was good but pricey. Clean and consistent in its standard of hospitality. I have ate better close by for less. Can get busy on an evening in season with lots of children running about the bar area while parents drink. So not ideal if you are a couple wanting a romantic evening. Overall this is a good place for families and tourists with view over the coast outside. Always a popular destination in summer.

M. G. G.Absolutely most beautiful setting the food here is just delicious. Kudos to the cooks and chiefs. Always a welcome be you a resident or a tourist with breakfast and dinner staff. How ever watching the prices of food hike up yearly and it's a pity as when traveling you work your costs. I always went there a family favorite as rooms were comfortable and spotless. However price hikes under new management . I hope it does not loose what people there for in the first place by wanting to make a quick buck.

Although outdoor dining was the only option - due to Government guidelines - we were seated by the wonderful lady Rachel. This Lady exudes fabulous Irish Hospitality at its very best. Many thanks David (GM), Rachel, Eilís and Ann for a great experience. The outdoor dining experience is excellent, due to Rachel's efficiency in dealing with queues, in a warm and humorous way. M. B.My girlfriend and I stayed 4 nights here. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were very friendly. The hotel was nice and clean. We ate tea/supper when we first arrived; both had the home-made lasagne and it was a very good sized portion and was the best lasagne I have eaten.

sealed in seaparate personal ziplock bag.
Reception staff busy answering phonecalls for table bookings of non guests (which they couldn't accommodate due to reduced capacity).
Covid19 system in place. Staff adhering to mask/sheild wearing.
C. W. K.The hotel is located close to the Spanish Point beach with walking trails for country lovers. Rooms are spacious and the meals sumptuous. Staff are very friendly. Molly at reception recommended Pat to us for a day tour of the local area and he was by far the best tour guide I've met in all my travels. Live music every evening makes for a perfect end of day. Only problem is the carpets. They are old, stained in places and smelly especially in common areas like stairs and corridor. Whole place could do with new ones. On the whole though , lovely place and value for money.
I. V.Had the sea bass, which was alright, cooking and presentation, the sauce on the side was quite nice too, a kind of lemon hollandaise. Unfortunately, too much salt on everything!! The veg was "bain marie mulch" boiled to death, and a tad tasteless. Too much salt Chef. No point in cooking fish flawlessly, if you totally give up on the sides, veg etc, that's plain lazy. This kitchen is capable of way better, I know, I've had it before. Also, the chips were barely cooked!!! Chef, if you can't get chips right, and consistent, you have a problem, believe me!
N. B.It was a brilliant to stay the room that we stayed in was amazing and the beds were excellent and the food and breakfast was the best breakfast in a long time thanks a million for the stay i would not mind coming down again soon
D. S.Hotel is situated right near the water. Staff was attentive and accommodating. We arrived early and they were able to get our room ready to put our luggage so we could do some sight seeing. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant at the end of the day. Pub food was good.

C.I came to Miltown Malbay for the music but on a Tuesday in October the town was dead and a few unsavory characters were hanging around, so I went back to this hotel and had a lovely dinner by the fire place. Staff was super friendly in both the bar/restaurant and at check-in. Rooms are really nice, with a sitting area and the location is great, right on the ocean.
So I like this place. There are a few things that stop me from giving it a top rating though - in the middle of the night I was woken up by someone being in a nearby room - lots of stumbling, banging etc. And I shouldn't need to hear that. Lighting in the room could be improved (reading is difficult), the bed is a bit short (but I am over 6 foot tall), the shower handle is fixed making having a good shower a bit awkward and hot water takes a while to come. Toiletries are of the disposable kind, WiFi is poor to non-existent even in the common areas and while the breakfast has lots of choices, I am not a fan of pre-cooked eggs and meat. Oh, and if the bar could serve some local brews (rather than stuff from Dublin and beyond) I'd be in heaven. But those are only minor issues explaining why I can't give this place 5 stars. I think with a few tweaks management could turn this place into the superb place it can be - certainly they have the wonderful staff as their greatest asset.
B. S.Extremely good food excellent friendly staff. We left a homemade plush soft toy dog in the bed. It could not be found we are so upset to loose this beloved toy. Anyone finding it please return it. It has sentimental value

C.Charming, easy on the pocket, lovely location and very friendly staff. Despite being a rural hotel they had no problem with me checking in at 3am. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back. Did I mention the food is lovely too?

A. S.We stayed in a cottage on the grounds for a family function. The cottage was clean and comfortable, but an odd layout, with a small and pokey kitchen in need of updating. The bedrooms were comfortable. Only one bin (for general waste) in the kitchen - no recycling or composting bins at all.
We were here for a family function - an evening meal and a lunch the following day. Service was friendly and excellent for both, food was good, and portions were huge. Our 'private function room' for the evening meal was appropriated by a coach party of pushy American tourists who wanted to not mix with anyone else and wanted to play their own music. Management told them they could have the room from 10pm, but they arrived in and rudely started moving furniture and chairs around us from 9pm, as we finished our coffees. Ugh. Management apologised and found us room together in the bar.
The bar was disappointing. All foreign macro-brewery beer - Heineken and Diageo. There are six independent Irish craft breweries that I know of within 80k of the venue, but they didn't stock a single one, not even in bottles. Why travel to have the same things you can get in any generic pub?

We went in April. less than £150 for 4 nights. Well located for the golf and Armada Hotel. Should you be attending a function. just 20 min walk along sea Rd.
c. k.From the photographs I thought this would be a great place to bring our foreign visitors. Reception good, all staff friendly, particularly Ciara in the bar who went out of her way to look after us. Also Caroline at breakfast. Unfortunately a few issues, beds quite hard, not the best showers, issues of water coming back up in bath, basin and toilet.
Wifi very poor( nearly non existence and very frustrating) and should be mentioned on booking sites. Said there was music, but it was only for a bus tour and my husband was disappointed . And very upsetting was our relations husband tried to phone through reception from NZ to get his wife's room and they said they didnt know how to put a call through( in this day and age that's not acceptable).

Meal in the bar was very good and there was a good atmosphere. The walls between the rooms are not very soundproof as we could hear a man coughing and talking to his kids. There was a match on tv so we could hear the kids saying “Come on Ireland” quite clearly , much to our surprise, thankfully they went asleep and things quietened down. I really liked breakfast next morning. Good value here. Nice area of the world.
I’m not sure if the music in the toilets near the bar is the radio or a play list. There was a very explicit song playing, Skepta, when I was there. I presume it was the radio, over which they had no control.
Anyway I would return.

F. M.I treasure my visits to the Bellbridge. I stayed there some time ago for a wedding celebration and have been returning there ever since. The food is always delicious with something to suit every taste including
allergies and mal absorptionn. I know this from personal experience. Surroundings are pleasant and of there is Spanish Point just a shoot walk away.. or shorter car drive. It is my favourite , staff are welcoming to all.

N. W. X.Situated right by the Spanish point and close to attractions like the cliffs of moher (30 mins drive). The rooms were spacious and clean. Booked a twin room and got a double and single bed, very nice. The toilet was very clean and equipped with soaps and clean towels. Service was also impeccable. They did all that for not very much money at all, very good value for money. Only caveat is that wifi is not available in the rooms. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Bellbridge House Hotel.
