Just as lovely as it was 7 years ago! We visited last month in May as part of an anniversary trip with my brother in law and sister in law. Several upgrades have been made, especially the bathrooms. Loved the shower pressure! Clean, beautiful views, delicious food and Mary and Jimmy are the most gracious hosts! Definitely returning to this hidden gem!

Very nice clean and comfortable rooms. An open table for fruits, cereals, toast, etc. And a made to order breakfast from the menu. Mary was very friendly and welcoming. A beautiful view of the ocean right out in front.

Lovely place. Unfortunately we only got a very short glimpse of the sea view!! The fog/mist only cleared for a brief spell, but what we saw was beautiful! Very friendly service & a good spread laid on for breakfast with a wonderful cooked breakfast too. Ample parking just outside the front door.

Really lovely B and B. More like a very friendly hotel, with lounge available and possibility of a bar in the evening. Magnificent views from most rooms and from the car park. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Mary and Jimmy so helpful.

Very picturesque area

Stayed here one summer with the kids. The view is unbelievable. The Wild Atlantic is literally in front of you. Mary and Jimmy the owners are great people. This is really a place that you will remember forever.

Wow, the view at this hotel is INCREDIBLE! It's really picture-perfect. When we first arrived, the room was a bit hot, almost musty, but we aired the room out and it became just fine. The bathroom and room were clean and very nice. Some good things about the bathroom that I wish all hotels had (that are present here): There's an adjustable shower head (that can also be hand held). This was particularly helpful since we had both short and tall traveling in our group. The breakfast was very enjoyable, and the host was incredibly positive and gave us some helpful advice regarding driving on the very narrow roads of Ireland. She also rushed us out the door on the first night (in a very good way) so that we could have dinner before the closest restaurant closed. Absolutely wonderful!

Not sure where some of these reviewers stayed but when my husband Emmett and I stayed here last month, we were delighted with the service, the food was excellent & the owners were incredibly warm & kind!!Mary & Jim went out of their way for us as we got lost & they guided us in at night and invited us into the bar to sit, relax and have something to drink after a long journey. The room was great..very clean & spacious and the views were excellent. The beach area outside is very pretty and the ambience was charming!! Breakfast was amazing. Everything so fresh & the best fresh brewed coffee I had in Ireland. We give Mary & Jim & Blue Horizon a 10!! Will definitely visit again!!

The most beautiful location with expansive views. A good 15 minute drive from Kinsale but worth it. We had an incredibly large room, very clean. Mary was so friendly and gracious. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful location overlooking the sea. Very comfortable bed and strong shower with plenty of hot water. Only 15 minutes to/from Kinsale but without all of the hustle-bustle. Wonderful Irish breakfast too.

We stayed for one night on 1st to 2nd October in 2016. Good Breakfast, nice people, tidy place. Perfect Seaview - not from the room but while standing outside. The WiFi is extra slow, hardly to believe that it's the year 2016 while counting the data bit by bit. The TV in the room was not small. It was tiny, kinda like a thumbnail....

We were warmly welcomed (unfortunately check-in is only possible from 4 p.m.) and immediately informed about dinner options. The room is small, but clean and modern. The location to the beach is great and you are right on the sea (you can even hear the noise). Breakfast is fine; Unfortunately we were a bit spoiled by the previous places. We spent our day exclusively on the beach. :-) For whom it is important: WLAN is very slow and often breaks down.
