An absolutely perfect stay! This boutique inn so lovely and carefully put together. I loved that the inn owner anticipated all needs of a traveller as my room was stocked with: a carafe and glass, cue-tips, make-up removing pads, cookies, milk, electric kettle, and a selection of teas and coffee. The room was very comfortable and a short lovely walk to all the shops and restaurants. The owners were very kind and welcoming with lots of great suggestions. I hope to return!

Absolutely stunning home! Very clean and beautifully decorated. The host were very friendly and welcoming. The room was fabulous, very clean, very spacious and the bed was very very comfortable, did not want to get out of it in the morning. It is so close to town, only 2mins walk and your there. The hosts showed us all the places, restaurants and pubs to try, which we enjoyed very much. Overall 10/10 great experience and would highly recommend. We did not want to come back to reality but we can't wait to stay again!

Landed in Kinsale to visit friends from past trips,my friend Margaret suggested Carmel's Guest house.. I booked the Solarium Guest Apartment for what was to be 2 weeks became 2 glorious months,ok no breakfast served but every other detail is meticulously seen to.Restaurants of all flavors are just a short walk. The accomodations we're exquisite but the treasure was my new friend Carmel...I am certain that her daughter has kept the K Kinsale the standard and 5 star class as her Mother..I highly recommend it.Jill Meadows

Super stay here recently. Melissa was very accommodating as I had to reschedule twice due to lock downs and we ended up visiting over a year after our initial booking! The room was excellent with lots of nice touches in particular the ground coffee and French press in the room, such a nice change from the instant coffee in other places! Thanks Melissa

Room was small. The shower was small the curtain didn't stop the water from going on the floor in the bathroom. Hostess was lovely.120€ was dear with no breakfast included
I wanted to pay cash the next morning but it was taken out of my account that night .

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are cottage like and spotless and the house is so well appointed. You can tell a real effort has gone into what guests need. Very friendly hosts who went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. We were there 2 nights, had amazing meals in Kinsale and the hosts’ recommendation and I can say for sure that we Will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!

A beautiful place, very stylish and homely. A warm welcome and lovely host. Rooms are a bit small but very charming and the most comfortable bed and gorgeous linen. Just a few minutes walk down the hill into town. And Kinsale is such a lovely place. Loved it! Can't wait to stay again. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the K Kinsale. Great location! Walking distance to the main square and close to bar and restaurants. However, it’s situated on a steep hill so might be hard to get to by feet especially with luggages. Lovely decorations around the house, and the hosts were both very welcoming.
The room was also lovely and it was great having a fridge in the room. The shower is a bit small, curtains stuck to you while using it. Also, there’s an odd smell also coming out of the sink but nothing major. It is a bit expensive for €90 a night especially without breakfast though.

10/10 What a fabulous experience, wonderful hosts and an exceptional guesthouse in an idyllic position close to a plethora of cafes, bars and restaurants in the heart of beautiful Kinsale. The rooms were spotless and the décor is eclectic and compliments the property. The hosts could not do more for us, we were recommended places to visit as well as hidden beauty spots, along with menu and dining options for the evening. I'll definitely return, thank you James, Melissa and Rosa.

The K is a lovely place to stay made even more lovely by James and Alissa. We were made to feel right at home, and the room and hotel is beautifully decorated as well as feeling warm and welcoming. Thoughtful touches like lovely tea pots to have our tea in and no issues with a late check out were also brilliant. Will definitely be back!

Stayed here for a few nights for a friend's birthday. We were all welcome so nicely by the host. The house is absolutely beautiful and so full of art. You can tell it was recently renovated and all the rooms have their own unique feel. I loved the artists paintings and the names of the rooms, it was such a lovely touch. Our room was beautifully decorated and had so much natural light it was delightful.

Fun eclectic place very close to downtown Kinsale (a postcard perfect town with lots to do). This is more like an AirBnB than a hotel, but I see that mostly as a positive. It feels like you are staying in someone's en suite guest room, with all the pros and cons that implies. It is a very short walk to many pubs, restaurants, churches, and the water (though, it is a rather steep walk uphill coming back). This hotel was very quiet, and with blackout curtains I slept like a baby.

Adorable place to stay. Close to town and had all the amenities we needed

The photo is not how this place looks, it is a very small property on a hill with a 4 minute walk into town. We reserved the night before and arrived at 3:15. Hostess never let us in but told us to come back at 4:00, she was abrupt.
We were told to leave car anywhere, meaning street and walked into town to have a pint and wait. Rain set in, the kind that turns your umbrella inside out. Walking back up the steep hill in the rain at 4:30 we finally arrived but nobody answered bell. We pounded on the door for 10 minutes, did I mention the rain? Finally we went around the house and knocked on a window where inside woman was smoking a cigarette.
She finally let us in and said she didn't know we were coming! Asking, when did we reserve? Wasn't I just there? We were so drenched. She did find us a room and made our dinner reservations when we requested but couldn't remember our name to book, so used hers.
No breakfast. No USB plugs, tv no reception. Bed was comfy, not the best location. There was a fridge in room with coffee, milk and tea. We would have stayed 2 nights but decided to move on.

Nice, very central. My only complaint was there was nowhere to put anything,no drawers, no closet. The only hanging space was a coat rack and we had a lot of luggage.

We stayed at the Oscar Wilde room. Beautiful furnished, has a kitchen and nice bathroom plus a sunroom and walk in closet. It's a few minutes walk to everything.
