S. M.Lovely laid back atmosphere. Nice country house style decor. Looks like there are nice garden walks also.Friendly staff in reception and pool area etc. We Went for our anniversary and they left a happy anniversary decorated dessert plate in our room. A nice touch. Would stay again.
V.Stayed here for a few nights during our trip to Ireland. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are your standard European classic style. This means that you will be staying in rooms that resemble a bed and breakfast style accomodation. The staff is very friendly (great job Josephine in the dining staff) and accommodating. The only downside is that it's in need of updating. Would recommend however.
V. K. B.Went for the Craft Fayre. Well laid out and comfortable. Had lunch as well which was one of the best I've had out. Disappointed no covid check on the way in but this was sorted on the way out and was just a timing thing. A sign saying wait here to be seated would have done the job. But loved the place and the service was excellent.
T. G.Went for a meal with a friend, friendly staff greeted us and showed us to table, all covid compliant. Lovely atmosphere and quick service. We had the vegetarian curry served with rice and a poppadom which was delicious and full of tasty vegetables and BBQ wings and chips, also very tasty. . A very enjoyable evening and our waitress Emma was lovely and very helpful.
C. “.I went for a midweek break with my sister's & we stayed in the garden suite, lovely 2 bedroom house with kitchen & dining room. It was a lovely place but really needs updating, the 2 sofas had absolutely no life left in them & there is no garden to speak of, but the hotel is beautiful and the staff are so nice, Josephine especially. We had a lovely time. The grounds are right on the Shannon with lovely walks & scenery.
E. O.Stayed at this hotel recently. I can honestly say they have the best staff EVER. Hi to Josephine, her sister Margaret and the waiter Joseph. The food was excellent and the leisure centre is new and spotless. Highly recommend this hotel.

J. F.Fantastic and beautiful hotel. The main building is very well kept and the surrounding lands and proximity to River Shannon is amazing. Overall, the food and drinks are delicious and staff is friendly. They offer delivery and sometimes have a tent set up selling deserts at the entrance. A really lovely place to stay or go for dinner/ a treat.

j.The staff at the Castleoaks weren’t going to let Valentine’s Day pass by without providing a fabulous Valentine’s dinner in these different and challenging circumstances. We took away a gorgeous 3 course dinner, super cocktails and thoroughly enjoyed them. Thank you Barry and all the team.

All that is missing, for me, is EV chargers, which the SO hotel group is working on. Hopefully, they will be in place for next year.

H. Z.Would stay here again. This is a very nice off the beaten path place. Lovely garden with access to a nice walk along the Shannon River. Walking distance to town. Breakfast and Dinner at the hotel we're good. The room we stayed in was spacious, but the age is showing a bit.
r. m.Love the hotel, old but clean, located outside Limerick city centre and about 10 to 15 minutes drive depending on traffic, surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, all you can hear is the stream of the river shannon, rooms are big too for a reasonable price plus a very accommodating staff, they even let me checked in early and checked out late. Highly recommended and will absolutely coming back here again next time.

D. M.Beautiful grounds, great bar and the staff couldn't help more. Stayed in the apartments as there was a wedding on in the main hotel. These I found warm, clean and very comfortable. There was however no fridge in apartment. Would recommend.

L. S.Lovely place to stay. Easy access from the M7 .Yummy breakfast. The only thing was cleaners started around 7 30 so a little to early with noise for me but room was spotless and staff were excellent 😁

The surroundings are just gob-smackingly gorgeous, and the village of Castleconnell was small but pleasant. M. L.It's in a truly beautiful location, lots of Beautiful walks along The Shannon ,great Views and almost Magical Woods. Almost expected a Hobbit to appear.
The House/Hotel itself is Lovely. Staff were so helpful and went out of their way to help. We had Dinner in the bar, very tasty and lovely dessert. Definitely worth a visit

S. H.I have had the pleasure of being in the Castle Oaks on many occasion, and it doesn't disappoint. We had my son's confirmation lunch and celebration there last week and it was amazing. What really stands out are the staff, and particularly the twins, Maggie and Josephine. Honestly they could not have been more accommodating to all of our group. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything that we needed, and their friendly service always with a smile made the day for us. We also stayed the night and had the pleasure of meeting them the following morning. Just amazing people really, can't say enough about them. Thank you for a most wonderful stay ladies, and to all the staff in the hotel. We will be back x

T. C.Had a lovely little break here, fantastic views and a lovely forest walk along the river at the back of the property. Bed was extremely comfortable and the service was fantastic, every staff member had a smile and a hello.
L. K.Stopped in for food and a drink after a day of canvassing in Castleconnell. Couldn't have been made more welcome. Service was friendly, attentive and timely. We had children with us and staff had such great time for them and their off menu orders. Everything was spotless and elegant. We all ordered pizza and it was spot on, I suspect they have a fabulous pizza oven hidden in the back. Honestly, I felt like a local within minutes.
