e. m. g.We were at The Greenhills Hotel on The Ennis Road in Limerick on Tuesday (January 11th 2022) for lunch. It was carvery service. We got the main couse, dessert & coffee afterwards. The food was very plentiful, delicious & great value for money. I'd highly recommend it very much. On the way out (to go home) my husband Ger (wheelchair user) had to use the facilities. On the way out (to the carpark) a staff member held open the main door for us. Thank you so very much to everyone there. As Arnold Swartzneggor says 'we'll be back'.

Myself and my little one year old had the best experience when we called in here for some lunch today!
I must mention 'Tony' I'm sure was his name he was fabulous from start to finish along with a super friendly barman who were just so nice to myself and my little daughter and created such an easy experience for me to enjoy my lunch thank you!
We will hopefully see ye again soon!

H. F.Went to the Greenhills restaurant with my 2 sisters in July and we had the best time! Our waiter was super nice and accommodating and we had a great laugh with him. I hadn't been out with my sisters for over a year and he made the night even more enjoyable! I would definitely recommend!

P.Only stay one night with family,room is ok, but we love the food in the restaurant,ordered chicken wings (best ever) ,and steak( most place over cooked,but here just the way I wanted medium rare) , the duck and the pasta is so tasty ,pizza is nice too, everyone enjoy their food. and the waiter who served our table is very friendly and hard working ,make us feel welcomed, If ever go back to limrick,we know where to find good food! A la carte in the evenings, would recommend the crispy chicken wings and also the fish and chips. Everything is good though. They also make a mean Irish coffee
R. K.Went here for breakfast. Food was lovely but service was absolutely shocking. Arrived in and we were greeted by lovely young girl who showed us to our seat outside. Lovely outside area. We looked at the menus and were ready to order but were then told these were the wrong menus and given different ones. Waited for some time again and eventually got to order. Breakfast was served fairly fast but arrived without us having any cutlery, and minus our tea and toast. The girl went and got us cutlery and rushed away , we presumed for our tea and toast. However she went about other duties so we called another waitress who said she would sort it. Food was going cold so we started eating. Tea arrived but toast did not arrive until we had finished breakfast. Saw a few similar issues with other tables. It is obvious that they have invested heavily and we'll on the hotel and the food is very good but the managers need to invest time in staff training. Only saw the manager on duty as we were leaving. Pity could be top class
M. O.I had the pleasure of bring a group to dine at the Greenhills, the food was fabulous, my clients thought it was the best they ever had. Table service and staff so nice and polite. We will be returning, great day had by all.

The swimming pool is quite small for the hotel capacity and 1/3 is reserved for members, so make sure you book for lunch time or early morning.

However I was disappointed to see one of two disabled parking spots outside the front door taken over by a table and chairs. Not good :(

Foreigne manager very rude not at all helpful told us sit outside even though we had or EU certs said he couldn't fit four of us (2 adults 2 kids) yet he could fit 4 adults our neighbours after us who didn't have a table booked. Outside is full of bees so not good when the kids are scared of them.
J. A.On the outskirts of limerick City. Just a 10 minute drive to centre. Great meals and nice hotel. It has a leisure centre with a pool so it's a great place to stay. It has a restaurant and a bar so yeah give it top mark's.

S. K.Very slow service. Arrived 8PM and asked to wait until 9PM. Did that and ordered food from seamus the waiter. 10 mins later he left in a car. Left waiting until 950 and asked by another waiter had we ordered. 10pm food arrived but my mixed grill had half of it missing.waiter brought it back to kitchen. 10 more minutes it arrived back. No bacon... sausages and puddings look like leftovers from breakfast. Not very nice. 1030 paid the bill and left. Never to return.

C.My sister had her wedding here on 09.09.21 and o my god they are truly amazing here , the staff here tended to her every need thy truly couldn't do enough for us , Daphne Green u are amazing nothing was to much for u , and u did it all with a smile u made our day just perfect ❤ and another person that we all can't thank enough is the night porter Owen Byrnes, u knew tammy wasn't feeling well earlier in the evening and u made sure she had everything she needed or wanted , I can't thank u both ( as well as the other staff ) enough for making her day amazing from start to finish 💙❤

An excellent hotel with the most pleasant and helpful staff I have come across in a long time. Food was fantastic for both breakfast and dinner . Would highly recommend this hotel and leisure centre.

Offered to make up a lunch for us when we Were heading off for a Cycle. Food is really good. Best breakfast I’ve ever had and really good value. Could not have asked for more. Highly recommend.

G. C.Stayed for 2 nights and booked direct with the hotel. Rooms were nice and warmly feel to them, TV channel selection was poor my room had 6 channels. Staff were welcoming in most instances but some were quite dismissive. Food was a bit dissappointing at breakfast both days and dinner on the second night. I had ordered fillet steak which was very nice but the chips and onion rings were very greasy. Ribs were very tough too. Breakfast both days looked to be thrown on the plate which was dissappointing.

It was a superb location - great professional & friendly service, superb food (on what was a very busy day for the hotel with several functions on at the same time). We stayed overnight. The family room was was large & comfortable & breakfast the next morning was great with plenty of choice for kids and adults. And a very well equipped gym on site for residents use as well. Overall, great value hotel!

We stayed in hotel for midterm break. We arrived early and our room was ready for us . We were family of three young girls 7,6,3 myself and my husband. We went swimming straight away. Staff were very friendly to us all and very helpful. We had dinner after swimming food gorgeous, then off to bed all slept great. Room was lovely. Best morning we had breakfast again staff fantastic and food excellent, my husband and Girls went swimming i went shopping with my daughter and then back for more swimming. Our girl's were very happy with stay and wanted to stay longer. I definitely will be back as they all made our stay fantastic. So thank to all staff at hotel. We had no expense on doing activities during our stay as girl's loved pool

We stayed one night and it was mainly good. Our room was clean and while facing the main road wasn't noisy. The room, warm and comfortable. Bathroom was grand with a nice shower.
Staff were lovely and helpful. Especially the waitress who served us dinner in the restaurant. My seafood chowder was fantastic but pork for main was totally tasteless. We were all a bit annoying the chef only allowed 1 veg with the mains even though we were on an al a carte menu? How mean is that. Breakfast selection was great and the fruit selection best I've ever seen however my long awaited Eggs Benedict was ruined by a totally cremated bun.....shoddy kitchen staff to do that and think its acceptable ruined the taste completly. Hotel receptionist was friendly and efficient. I would return as it was good value but I'd eat in the bar and I'd stick to a continental breakfast.
T. M.Stayed here recently and it was excellent. Person in reception was friendly and so helpful. Leisure centre, very clean with heated floors which are amazing after you come our of the pool. Food was gorgeous and again, staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. 😀

K. C.Confusing layout. Only meal I had there was breakfast and it was my least favorite between 4 hotels we stayed at in Ireland. The room was clean but hairdryer hard to use as cord went through desk and into a hole in the drywall so you had to be nearly on your knees to style the top and other side of your head. The service was good in the dining room staff was friendly and kind.

G.Firstly the staff were amazing and the food was excellent, However the room was very dated, bed had a big dip in the middle, bathroom was extremely dated and in desperate need of an update, the wifi was hit or miss and only worked 20% of the time, the worst part of the stay was the heat in the room, even with the windows open it was uncomfortably hot in the room, needs air conditioning, staff were all very considerate with social distancing and all worse masks
H. H.This hotel is very dated looking, like something from the 1970s. The bar has no atmosphere, a big cavernous place. The bar food was very poor and very expensive. I had a tasteless chicken caesar salad with fries , very dry and unappealing which set me back 18.95 euro. Will not be going back.

B.Difficult to believe that there was an extremely noisy dance class taking place in the next room to a large conference which I was attending, which proved to be a very annoying distraction to our speakers. Part of the problem was that the soundproof partitions were not locked together, seemingly due to faulty mechanisms in same.

C. M.Lovely venue with multifunctioning function rooms. These rooms are used for a variety of different things. They are used for birthdays, weddings, meetings, etc. Rates are reasonable and the staff at the venue are very friendly. Overall a fantastic place.
I. B.Decent sized room. Nothing special really. But, it has something that most don't.. a working furnace in the room. It rains all the time in Ireland so having something that can help dry (and it works) clothes, shoes, even books becomes really handy. The bar is sold and the food is awesome! Try the fish and chips or brazzed lamb... also located within 15 min of a mini mall (with a Dunnes) and a Tesco (grocery). If drive gas stations are close (less than 5 min drive) and you are 15 min drive from down town Limerick... Solid 4 stars..

K. B.(Translated) The hotel does not live up to its rating. It may have been 4 star at one time but it is clearly no longer the case.
The "SPA" is old-fashioned, and looks more like a municipal swimming pool with a small jacuzzi, and above all it is required to wear a swimming cap to access the pool (sold € 3 at reception) but you have this information that once in a swimsuit next to the swimming pool .... In short, not worthy of a 4 *
And the room is not much better, you can have a conversation with the people in the hallway because the soundproofing is so bad. We even had the misfortune of having a fire alarm at 5:30 am (1 minute alarm) just to complete our experience in this hotel.
Fortunately, the staff are friendly and the price was quite reasonable (180 € breakfast + dinner for two) but that's not everything.

L'hôtel n'est pas à la hauteur de sa notation. C'était peut être un 4 étoiles à un moment mais ce n'est clairement plus le cas.
Le "SPA" est vieillot, et ressemble plutôt à une piscine municipale avec un petit jacuzzi, et surtout il est exigé le port d'un bonnet de bain pour accéder à la piscine (vendu 3€ à l'accueil) mais vous avez cette information qu'une fois en maillot à côté de la piscine.... Bref pas digne d'un 4*

Hôtel spacieux, employés très aimables, sauf au bar/resto où nous avons décidés de nous installer car pas d'accueil, des regards mais pas de bonjour. Bien 10 min d'attente pour avoir les menus alors que le lieu n'était pas rempli. Petit déjeuner trop cher pour les quantités comparé à d'autres malgré la qualité. bella struttura proprio sulla strada per arrivare a limerick a pochissimi km dalla citta' ,belle stanze ottimo il bagno non fatevi dare le stanze dopo la numero 160 e' un vero labirinto raggiungerle ,buona la piscina e' stato semplicissimo accedervi come ospiti dell'hotel .Unico neo la prima colazione completamente disorganizzati niente acqua niente bicchieri ,anche se sul menu erano indicati il pane tostato abbiamo dovuto attendere 15 minuti dopo la colazione per averlo, ci hanno portato l'acqua su nostra richiesta ma non i bicchieri abbiamo dovuto bere nelle tazze perche' ad attendere i bicchieri avremmo fatto notte .non e' possibile per una struttura del genere breakfast da Evitare assolutamente.

Leider wars sehr heiß als wir Irland besucht haben und es gibt hier keine Klimaanlage, in der ersten Nacht war auch kein Ventilator verfügbar (es gibt also weniger Ventilatoren als Zimmer), deshalb konnten wir unseren Aufenthalt auch nicht richtig genießen. Sonst schön, wobei man schnell in Limerick ist.
