My stay was brought on by a sudden illness where I needed a bed and quiet. Without hesitation the proprietors took me in at an early hour. They gave me a quiet room cut off from the main building and made sure throughout the day I was okay. In the morning the breakfast was top class in a beautiful dining area. Top marks for location, quiet and care. This is a top class b and b. I have to say that it was a nicer stay than many hotels who have a lot of stars.

My husband I enjoyed our stay. We were greeted warmly and felt immediately at home. The accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Wonderful breakfast and I was delighted they were able to accommodate a gluten free diet!

Very nice, highly recommend. We had to leave early to catch our plane so didn’t get the full Irish breakfast but host offered kitchen with its full stock of cereals & tea & coffee if we wanted. Walking distance to town and castle.

Stayed in Castle Lodge B&B for two nights recently. We were well taken care of by Gerry and his wife . Great breakfasts, very helpful owners who made you feel right at home in Ireland. We were a 10 minute walk from the lovely town of Malahide. Definitely worth a stay . Thank you.

Just a wonderful place to stay. Malahide village on the doorstep. Malahide castle a stones throw away. Service impeckable . absolutely spotless . Hosts are very friendly to say the least nothing is a problem. The breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel or B&B . We highly recommend the castle lodge B&B

My family and I stayed here for three nights during the 100th Anniversary of the Easter Rising. The location was excellent: close to the center of Malahide and close to the train to Dublin City. Malahide is a great little town with nice pubs and restaurants with live music. Fun times, but the highlight of staying at Castle Lodge was our hosts Gerry and Eithne. Eithne kept everything running and Gerry sang and cooked in the kitchen. He was also good for a friendly conversation and for sharing a late night drink in his back deck bar...and still got up early the next day to cheerfully make breakfast. We loved this place and we'll be back!

Very nice bed and breakfast a few steps from the center of Malahide. Strategic location for visiting Dublin, reach them in about 20 minutes by dart. Comfortable rooms, excellent sleep quality, and delicious Irish breakfast! Mouth-watering!! The owners are fantastic, welcoming and kind! It's a pleasure to stay with them! Very nice owners! The room was clean. The breakfast is just perfect. Several options, including very tasty pancakes. The location is very good: to the castle on foot; to the city or the sea a few minutes by car. The Howth peninsula and Dublin are easily accessible by car. The only "-" little thing: the beds weren't very comfortable.
