k. m.My stay was brought on by a sudden illness where I needed a bed and quiet. Without hesitation the proprietors took me in at an early hour. They gave me a quiet room cut off from the main building and made sure throughout the day I was okay. In the morning the breakfast was top class in a beautiful dining area. Top marks for location, quiet and care. This is a top class b and b. I have to say that it was a nicer stay than many hotels who have a lot of stars.
L. C.My husband I enjoyed our stay. We were greeted warmly and felt immediately at home. The accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Wonderful breakfast and I was delighted they were able to accommodate a gluten free diet!

G. T.My family and I stayed here for three nights during the 100th Anniversary of the Easter Rising. The location was excellent: close to the center of Malahide and close to the train to Dublin City. Malahide is a great little town with nice pubs and restaurants with live music. Fun times, but the highlight of staying at Castle Lodge was our hosts Gerry and Eithne. Eithne kept everything running and Gerry sang and cooked in the kitchen. He was also good for a friendly conversation and for sharing a late night drink in his back deck bar...and still got up early the next day to cheerfully make breakfast. We loved this place and we'll be back!

Sehr nette Besitzer! Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Frühstück ist einfach perfekt. Mehrere Möglichkeiten, darunter sehr leckere Pancakes.
Die Lage ist sehr gut: zum Schloss zu Fuß; in die Stadt oder zum Meer wenige Minuten mit dem Auto.
Die Halbinsel Howth und Dublin sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar.
Die einzige "-" Kleinigkeit: die Betten waren nicht sehr bequem.
