H. M.This is a very nice B & B right in the centre of Monaghan town, warm room with TV and WiFi and everything worked. We had a lovely breakfast and friendly attentive service. Highly recommend,

A. K.Friendly, comfortable clean guest house in Monaghan town. Staff were extremely friendly. Our room was clean and homely. Breakfast was made to order, fresh and tasty! Only negative comment is that the place could do with a bit of modernisation. Having said that we'd definitely stay again.

Room & ensuit lovely and clean with tea & coffee available in the room.
Breakfast room very friendly with good full Irish breakfast available, among other choices.
Reasonable rates, would definitely recommend this place & we'll be back.

J. M. A.We were delighted to spend a night at the Ashleigh House on a trip to Ireland last year. My husband Johnny is a Monahan from Butte, Montana so naturally we HAD to go to Monaghan. Fabulous greeting from Martin making us welcome. Great food, great accommodations, better shared company. Johnny was just telling the story of his first traditional Irish Breakfast. Johnny and Martin are sure we are related even with the difference in spelling. We left with Martin introducing us to a friend on the street as Jodi and the kid!! Ashleigh House is a must if you are staying in MONAHAN ( spelling intentional here)!!
