We have had these folks install two heap pumps and do routine maintenance on our systems. They always send excellent technicians who not only take care of our systems well, but are friendly and careful working in our house. I love the communication they provide on when someone is coming, I get an email with info on who will be there and they call 30 minutes before arrival.
Eddie Pérez was punctual l, friendly, and did a great job explaining what the problem was. Luckily was able to give us two options to resolve along with his recommendation for improving our system in order to avoid the problem we were having from repeating.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Installed system in 2020. AC and furnace. Had two issues since then, first a string had been caught in the fan blade and second time some how a wild rabbit. Poor rabbit lost the fight but won the war. They will be back to replace motor and blade.
Jorge was fantastic! He took the time to ask questions and then educated me on the process.
I have used them 2 or 3 times now. Each experience is better than the last. Great people, extremely understanding of customers needs and economics, quick. And I feel that they are honest. Then this last time they gave me numbers of replacing my unit, with discounts and rebates, to see real numbers and possible numbers

A shout out to my Super Tech Daniel Corona. I am so very happy with the service I receive, every time from Daniel. He has been my tech for each service, and I love that, because he is now the expert for my system, and always puts my mind at ease. Daniel is an expert, very knowledgeable, and an amazing trouble shooter with any problem my system has had. Amazing company. They make me feel safe.

We returned to ice build up on the AC condenser and no cooling in our home at 8pm on a Sunday and our home at 85 degrees on the interior.
I was able to actually use their web portal and shockingly enough get an appointment for Monday the next day. Other service providers were out 2-3 weeks for appointments.
Standard service visit fee is $129 which is very well priced.
Technician Blake Douglas arrived on Monday before lunchtime and completed diagnostics and found a bad blower motor to be the issue. He noted the serial number on our unit and advised the unit is still under warranty so we would only need to pay for 1 hour of labor.
Standard service fee was waived once we approved to proceed with the work.
We approved the work to be done. Part was put on order and Blake arrived the next day (Tuesday) and completed the blower motor swap in 1 hour. He tested other vitals and everything came back ok.
Their staff at the office are very friendly with very little (1-3 minute) wait time if any. Technician was very friendly and professional with service and repairs.
I recently used Green Leaf to fix an issue I had with my AC system, which ended up being a zone controller board that needed replacing. Technician was prompt and quick, and even went out of his way to expedite getting the part to complete the replacement. In and out and problem fixed! Have been enjoying a working AC system since. Thanks! I highly recommend Green Leaf!

Green Leaf did a fantastic job installing a modern Trane system to replace our old furnace installed in 2002. Our previous system wasn't wasn't set up properly for our house, and whoever initially put it in did a horrible job by affixing it with a heaping dose of liquid nail to the board that it sat upon. Our upstairs floor used to shake every time our old unit ran and now it is completely fixed. We are loving our new system, and so are our energy bills. They also installed a new thermostat along with more insulation in our attic and we've already noticed the difference. The crew they sent over was fantastic, did great work, were easy to talk to and had some great tips. Thanks Green Leaf, we are completely happy with our purchase!
Manny arrived on time. His appearance was neat and his actions were professional. He was very patient and thorough answering my many questions concerning my system and the use of the Nest thermostat. Green Leaf AC notified me in advance of the tech's arrival time with his name and picture.
Called Green Leaf on a Friday right before lunch and asked if they had a technician that could come by and check my air conditioner since it was 95 degrees outside and my air conditioner wasn’t cooling in the house. They were able to work me in the schedule for that afternoon! I received a text notification confirming my appointment and another text when the technician was on the way along with his picture and name. Charlie showed up in exactly the time frame I was given. He was courteous, professional, and thorough. He explained everything and gave me options to resolve the issue. I will definitely call Green Leaf should I be in need again! I HIGHLY recommend this company and this technician!
Technician was excellent! Came out on holiday weekend. Troubleshot the issue quickly and had our system running within 20 minutes. Everyone else seemed to be booked but they had availability. Would recommend to anyone.

Every interaction with every person working there was pleasant and professional. I initially went with someone else's estimate for mini-split installation, which turned out to be a drawn-out, months-long headache. I called Green Leaf back on a Friday, and they had an estimate by Monday. Pulled the permit and did the work by Thursday. They were all kind, the work was good, and they cleaned up after. I'm really grateful to have this project behind me. Highly recommend.

Greenleaf was great to deal with. We needed a whole unit replacement for an aging ac/furnace. Nick came out quickly after I made contact to quote us, he was knowledgeable and great to talk to, and was able to get a system in our budget.

I had new air conditioning put in 2 years ago by Dave's. He went out of business. Greenleaf took over his customers. Recently I found out that things weren't right with my unit. I called Greenleaf, tech agreed I had issues. Manager Adam said they would fix everything at no expense to me. The techs Mikey sbd associate fixed everything. This company has so much integrity and are so honest. Would highly recommend them. They are the best

I came home from vacation to no ac! Had a sweltering nights sleep. I called green leaf at 7:55am. I received a call back from them @8am. They had someone here by 10am. Charlie was so helpful and explained each step. He gave me the options that could benefit me. He even killed some ants that were near my outdoor system. You can’t ask for better service than that. And now, I’m sitting in my nice cool comfortable home thanks to greenleaf and Charlie ! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Once again - I cannot say enough good things about this company! I had a different technician this time around, Chris Corbell. I was not having any issues with my HVAC system, just wanted a checkup. Chris came out, noted a few things that could be potential problems for me later down the road. He explained each issue, pointed out the most critical repair, and noted that the other repairs were needed, but not necessary at this time. He then immediately provided me with three estimates, noting the most important fix first ...another estimate including the top two repairs, and a third for a complete repair. To me this was above and beyond. I opted to have all three done and Chris promptly showed up and did the repairs in less than an hour. Very happy with Chris and Green Leaf AC - oh- and the customer service agent was great as well! AWESOME Company!

After, being without an air conditioner for over a week, these guys, came and in the middle of a storm, put a condenser on the roof, of my apartment, to assure, I did not go without AC.
Customer service with this company, is beyond any expectation you could ever think was possible.

Now I know, there are still reputable AC repair companies, left in this area (not many) but, I must admit this company is one of them.

When my AC broke down Green Leaf had someone out after hours. Blake was quick to diagnose the problem, but unfortunately could not fix it that evening because he would have to order the part. He said he would contact me after 8 the next morning. He actually called earlier than that, and was able to order the part I needed and found out it was still under warranty so I would only have to pay labor. Blake also came back earlier than I expected, and finished the job. Now my AC works again in less than 24 hours. Thank you Blake, and Green Leaf , for exceeding my expectations

From my first contact through their website, Brent was very responsive and helpful in answering all of my questions and providing a competitive quote for a 16 seer system (a/c and heating). Installation was quick and on-time, and Mike and Raul were very professional and safety conscious. They used drop cloths to protect my floors. Installation took about 4.5 hours. Within an hour after the install, my indoor temp had already dropped 6 degrees on a very hot day. I love my new wifi-enabled thermostat (which they installed for free), and I am thrilled to have this new unit as temps are 100+ every day. Even better, I have 18 months to pay off the cost (through Wells Fargo) at 0% interest. I highly recommend Green Leaf A/C and Heating!

They came when they said they would, and did (I think!) a stellar job of removing the old HVAC, running an extra return duct, installing the new thermostat, and sealing up the new HVAC to our house. During the installation, my wife suffered a bad fall and required a trip to the E.R. The guys carried on and when we got back, everything was in place and running like clockwork.
Only question is, do you normally provide a new "dog house" for the ducts between the house and the HVAC? The guys used the old one after cutting it down; perfectly functional but my better half thought that for what we paid it looked kinda clunky...but it does run very nicely and the humidity is much better. Thank you!

Our thermostat turned off and we couldn't figure out why. Mark Walding came out the day of and helped us fixed it right away. We walked through our method of troubleshooting and he explained everything along his troubleshooting session. He dumbed it down to non-tech details and didnt make me feel like i was stupid. Once we got to the root cause, it was a huzzah moment for the both of us! He was very kind and our unit is now working again! Loved working with Mark and hope we can work with him next time as well! Also forgot to mention, he is very animal friendly as well. He happily greeted all of our pets. They were happy with the additional attention. Thanks Mark!

We had a leak in the kitchen sink and had to call for emergency plumbing services during hard freeze on a holiday. Green Leaf answered promptly and promised to have someone out between 12:00 to 1:00pm that day. They texted me to confirm my appointment, the name of our technician, and his estimated arrival immediately after our call. Mr. Broussard arrived by 12:30! He made a complete inspection and did a minor repair. He also tested our exterior water line at the meter to confirm that there were no other leaks due to the cold. We are very satisfied with the professionalism and prompt service.

Getting a new A/C is a huge deal. Nick at Green Leaf made it almost effortless. The team (Mikey, Daniel, Raul and Victor) showed up and knocked out a pretty huge job in a day. They were so great from start to finish. They were so knowledgeable and dare I say “fun” to have around all day? They get the hugest marks from me. If you need a new hvac do yourself a solid and get Green Leaf to help you out.
I’m giving three stars because the technician did show up on time, was knowledgeable and took care of the problem. I’m only rating three stars because I should not have been charged for my service call. My mini-split system was purchased and installed less than one year ago by SOS, who Green Leaf has since bought. According to the SOS sales rep who I originally worked with and contacted about my issue, it should have been covered 100% for the first year. Instead, I was told my clogged drain line was a maintenance issue that was not covered, and I was charged $129. When I purchased the unit I was originally told the only required maintenance was to clean the filters. I was never informed that a clogged drain line might occur or how to prevent it, and never having had a mini-split system I was not aware of this. Not exactly a smooth transition from SOS to Green Leaf.
UPDATE: Shortly after posting my initial review I was contacted by the General Manager of Green Leaf, who indicated the service fee was standard in this circumstance, but offered to refund the fee in light of any mixup or confusion. I consequently revised my rating of Green Leaf from three to five stars, because this is the type of follow-up and customer service you rarely see anymore.
Mark Walding with Green Leaf was super knowledgeable and kind. He came out to my work to see why my heater in my office wasn’t working and quickly found the problem and very thoroughly explained to me what was going on along with showed me pictures as he walked me through the solution to fix it. I’ll definitely keep using Green Leaf and will request Mark everytime. :)
April 2024: Blake arrive in a timely manner for a spring checkup of A/C system. Changed filter, cleaned and checked system. Provided information about system. Professional and courteous.
Felix arrived at designated time and promptly identified issue with a/c unit.
Felix answered all of our questions and did not sugar coat anything. This type of customet service is lacking with many vendors.
We look forward to an ongoing business relationship with Green Leaf.
Blake Douglas is the reason I cancelled my second appointment with Stan's Heating and A/C. I need technicians who know how to troubleshoot down to the bad component level. Not board changers who only guess at what the problem might be.
Blake is among the best technicians I have worked with in keeping the HVAC units in my homes working properly. Greenleaf hires the most knowledgeable guys in the HVAC field. Blake is very customer focused!
Quick service for a heating issue New Years weekend. The tech worked on it till he solved the problem, an issue with the components communicating through a wireless network. Would highly recommend Green Leaf.
I suppose you can tell the most about the character of a company and its personnel when the company expends money and effort to resolve a mess created by another company.
That is exactly what Green Leaf HVAC in Hutto, Tx did for me.
In June of 2023 I bought and paid in full for a Trane XV18 4 ton Heat Pump system, including a 10-year Labor Warranty from Company A.( I will omit the name of Company A, because the previous management of Company A was well regarded, but problems arose when management changed just before I purchased my system. The 10-year Labor Warranty that was included in my purchase price was to then be obtained and paid for by Company A from a third-party warranty provider. Trane, of course, provides a 10 year Warranty on Parts, and 12 year Warranty on the Compressor, but provides no Labor Warranty.
The problem was that Company A would not obtain and pay for the 10-year Labor Warranty. For 4 months I called, sent multiple emails, etc. to Company A, but with no success.
But I was in luck, because just as I was about to give up or hire an attorney, I learned that Green Leaf HVAC had just completed the acquisition of Company A.
I sent an email to Michelle Lewis, the Green Leaf Office Manager, and laid out my situation in detail. Michelle responded that she would give the General Manager my information about the unfulfilled Labor Warranty. Brent Ford, the General Manager then immediately emailed that even though Green Leaf had received no payment from Company A for the warranty, Green Leaf would obtain and pay for the 10-year Labor Warranty to be issued by a Warranty company that Green Leaf used on a regular basis.
Within 48 hours of my first contact with Michelle Lewis, I received an email showing Green Leaf's payment for the 10-year Labor Warranty covering all elements of my Heat Pump system.
I was, and still am, astounded by the immediate assistance given to me by Green Leaf personnel, when, in reality, they received nothing in return, other than my open-jawed awe and thanks for carrying out another company's contractual obligation.
Believe me, you will be in good hands should you choose to purchase services or equipment from Green Leaf HVAC. They are truly the REAL THING!!

Home air conditioner stopped working on Saturday afternoon when it was 105 degrees. I called on Sunday, and they made an appointment for Monday. Felix came Monday morning and diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. He then quickly replaced the capacitor and my AC was working. Very happy with the repair.

Green Leaf Heating and Air just completed a replacement of our two heating and cooling units, installed air scrubbers and whole house filters. Our 15-year-old AC unit went out one night and we knew it was time to consider replacements. We had two bigger companies come out to give quotes. Eddie, the owner, came out and fixed the issue first, replacing the capicator which gave us some time to consider all the options. He got us a quote the next day and didn’t pressure us in any way. We decided a few weeks later to have Green Leaf do the work.
The crew got the job done in a day, were very focused on completing the job on time, hardly taking a break for lunch. The system is running great, can barely hear it and haven’t had to make an adjustment to the thermostat in more than a week.
Eddie treated us more than fairly, and we feel like we got a good buy. We would recommend Eddie and his team for repair work or replacement. We will be calling him again when we need maintenance or service.
Tech knew what he was doing. Identified and fix problem promptly. Will use them again and would recommend to a friend.

A few days ago our relatively new upstair's AC unit stopped working suddenly and I called Green Leaf who we had used to replace our downstair's unit in 2018, and to correct some shoddy workmanship from a 2014 upstairs replacement.
Chis Reed showed up within the time frame communicated by their outstanding office person Larrissa (I believe I have the name right). She was helpful and tried her best to squeeze us in early and was prompt to inform us when her attempts failed :) Which was ok since she was doing us a favor to begin with.
So back to Chris, he was really good at explaning everything he was doing on our system, and what the issue was. I'm an engineer and had already guessed what the problem might be and he confirmed it almost immediately. Without unessessary dilly dallying Chris set to work resolving our issue, and explaining the physics behind the issue which I really appreciated. He also made suggestions as to how we might proactively remedy the situation on our own in the future, but also suggested a design change on the plumbing of the unit which made perfect sense to me. He set up an electronic appointment on the spot for us to have the redesign completed, which we will do at some point in the near future. No other AC repairman had ever made any suggestions to resolve this problem that has been more or less periodic, and ongoing for years.
I will definitely request Chris Reed personally the next time we need AC service and recommend him hightly. The man knows his stuff and he doesn't waste time doing what needs to be done.

Please give these guys a chance. They are Green and Growing. Eddie gave me some of the best advice a few years ago when I wanted a replacement units inside and out . I have a saved so much money over these many summer months based on the setup he recommended. Trying to cool a two story house with one unit used to be a challenge. Now Summers have been cooler and bills have been lower.
The two techs that I have met Over the years since initial install have both been smart fair and efficient.
Outstanding service from Eddie and the installation techs that completed a complete new heating and air system in our home. Above and beyond to install the system in 100+ heat working half way into the night. Have not had better service for many years. They have made us a life long customer. Yearly maintenance plan is great. Service and expertise is truly appreciated. Recommend.
Great experience, very easy to work with. We had to replace both our condenser and coil due to leaks, and they offered a very competitive quote; they were able to match a competitor for an even lower price. The quality of the work is extremely good. They even called later on to follow up and make sure things were ok. Definitely a very good company!
Where to begin? Our Bryant HVAC was 17 – 18 years old and working well. It was a single stage unit – full on and full off. I also knew it was time to research and ask for estimates. I had been thinking about this for a while and definitely did NOT want to have an install during the summer (Central Texas) or the winter. October/November seemed to be the “sweet spot.”
I called several local companies and after talking with my wife, reading reviews and thinking about the presentations from the 5 companies, I chose Green Leaf AC, Heating and Plumbing.
Well Christmas came early this year. Each Green Leaf person I met, spoke with and watched from the initial discussions about the various units, the pricing and the installation was EXCELLECT.
Josh gave the presentation and answered so many questions – with great patience. He also gave me the initial estimate and provided additional information about ductwork and insulation at my request. I could not see installing a new HVAC – with such vast changes in technology without adding the appropriate accessories. Think of purchasing a new car with threadbare tires. My system was over 17 years old. Everything needed updating.
This would be a 3-day install – one day for the removal on both the Bryant HVAC, the ductwork and the installation of the new HVAC and new ductwork. I was amazed at the workmanship of Xavier and Carlos who did the removal of the old and install of the new equipment.
Up in the attic Victor and Raul were removing the old Ductwork and installing the new ductwork. Mike joined in a bit later that morning and provided extra hands where needed. After the new ductwork was completed, Mike and I went up into the attic. He answered my questions and demonstrated how to adjust the airflow to each room.
All this was done between 9 am and 3:30 pm. Josh came by about 2 and asked for my impressions and also to set up the time for the new insulation to be blown into the attic – a day later. Xavier And Carlos did that. Done in 3 hours.
Summing up – I spent several summer days watching YouTube videos about HVACs. One of the recurrent points was that the HVAC a person may choose is only as good as the installation. Green Leaf AC, Heating and Plumbing certainly provided an excellent installation. The Trane variable speed HVAC we chose is whisper quiet. My wife and I can feel the difference in the house. A cold front is approaching and we will certainly check out the Trane heat pump as well as note the house warmth with the new insulation.
Yes, this was expensive but financing is available. I am a retired teacher living on a fixed income. So spending money wisely and effectively is my mantra.
The only aspects of this process I cannot comment on at this time are Green Leaf follow-up and Trane’s durability.
I will update this review in a few months.
