Partner and I had a great dinner here a few nights ago. The prices were very fair to start with and portion sizes were much bigger than we were even expecting, which was a nice surprise! The food tasted great, as did the cocktails too. We've eaten here before & definitely will again.

Having not visited the townhouse in a number of years I was very pleasantly surprised by the improvements made to both food and service, making a huge contrast to previous visits. Happy to give five stars - the whole family were well looked after and the food was amazing, light years beyond what went before. Large portions and reasonably priced, would recommend.

Staff were nice and friendly. We have gone here many occasions prior covid and food has been excellent. But here today. Beef was chewy and fatty gravy powdery. The turkey was fine but stuffing and gravy disgusting. Vegetable were great. Lots of green beans very little other veg mixed. Normally food has been. Consistently good in the past. Today would change my mind about going back. Positive the chocolate cake and ice cream was nice and latte and Americano were good...

I went here a couple of times in the last month. The food I ordered was really nice. I got the lasagne which is one of the nicest I've had eating out. The staff were friendly both times. I don't like mushrooms and no fuss was made over me asking them to leave the mushroom sauce off my order. Both times the food was served fast and the price was great for the portion size!

This is the place to eat and be in Tullamore. Without a doubt best service and food in the whole place. We had not experienced Tullamore until we went here. Food was faultless, the staff were prompt and friendly. You could see they loved their work and took pride in it to a lovely humble level. So accommodating to me and my fiance. My clean eating needs were not a problem and the food arrived presented well, hot, and delicious. We will be going for lunch there tomorrow and we can't wait. Shame we had only discovered it on our last day. But will be stalling our drive home to sample the afternoon menu. Thank you to all who made tonight special at The Townhouse Tullamore.

Lovely clean pub/Restaurant. Was only here for dining, never stayed as a guest. Friendly staff. Food is lovely, big portion sizes even the kids portion are big. Desserts are beautiful. Reasonably priced. Overall good food good atmosphere.

Attended a dinner for a wedding here in October. The staff were very helpful, food was nice. Gravy was a little bit minty so if you’re not into mint, don’t get it. Thought it was very nice personally though. Only downfall was the sound system seems a bit messed up. The entrance music for the bridal party was a bit disorganised and very quiet so guests couldn’t get hyped up. The room was fabulous. The staff couldn’t have done much more. Easily on or with big hotels in that respect. Seats about 50/60. Definitely an ideal option for those seeking a white wedding on a smaller budget. Heated enclosed smoking area is one of the best in town.

Had a fantastic function here, the reserved area was really private with drawn curtain we had lots of room and really enjoyed the food and drinks, the staff were very friendly, security staff on the door too. Live music, very clean, great location around the corner from the cinema, carpark just a cross the road or out the back.

Stayed here last evening. Wonderful food, warm cosy rooms with lots of soft towels, Very clean. The staff were excellent and Ryan the Manager made our stay most enjoyable. a 5 star experience in a 3 star hotel. I recommond this Hotel to anyone for food or an overnight stay. Arrived after midnight but had no problem getting in. Because it was a sultry night, we had Windows open and there was a surprising amount of traffic noise... But we very soon dropped off to sleep. Had to leave early for athletics stadium nearby, but they said we could have our breakfast any time up till noon... So we came back after our son's event was finished. Breakfast was nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Budget ( no soap in shower, soap dispenser by sink), but that's fine by me. I'd return.

We went here for breakfast, and as tourists, this was an amazing representation of what an Irish breakfast should be, and at a completely decent price! The full sized Irish breakfast only cost 9€ and it is large enough to fill you up. It doubles as a nice looking bar, although we didn't test out that function today, just breakfast! Would highly recommend!
