It really is hit and miss with the staff in castlebar. Most of them are rude and very pushy but you do get the occasional nice guy. The man on the main till today ( didn't catch his name) was very nice but the woman (siobhan) was very rude!

we have used Harvey norman for nearly everything in the house, our oven packed up so i was in need of a new one we had a look online and seen one that suited our household needs and budget we took a trip to the store today to have a proper look and place the order when we got there it wasnt on display so we asked a young friendly guy about it he checked on the system and said it was out of stock and couldnt give a date of when they would be bk in so we decided to have another look we picked an oven that i wasn't truely happy with but being without an oven it was better than nothing so we got talking to another guy his name was garry to place the order my husband bought up that we were originally in for the the normedae oven and that i was disappointed that it was sold out he was so helpful he made a call to the supplier and found out that they could deliver one to the store on Tuesday and i would probably get it Thursday that was music to my ears we placed our order and came away very happy i have said it for a few yrs the customer service is outstanding and by talking to garry today i will still remain a loyal customer

Staff were under so much pressure today but they were so helpful and polite. For the amount passing through it was ran like clockwork. Met everyone with a smile, even the customers who were being impatient and rude. Great staff,credit to the store.

Recently visited there was only one member of staff on the cash register on a Sunday afternoon meaning a big queue, while there were 3 members of staff chatting in the office! Also no signage as to where online orders are collected meaning I had to queue up twice. On the plus side there are some good offers in store and the staff I dealt with were good.

Great after care service for products, as long as the extra warranties are in date. Lately products are not available from the store, meaning you have to pay now and get later. This is annoying as I waited for over a month to finally receive a TV. I'm currently waiting for more products to arrive in store, that I paid for 2 weeks ago.

My no 1 to go. Really spent thousands in there. Wery professional helpful. They always respect their obligations like warranties or vouchers. And providing good products. They don't sale those lower grade electronics or appliances. If there is famous fault product on the market. It will be first removed from Harvey Norman.

Bought an appliance, had an awful lot of hassle getting a price match, the salesperson said that they don't always price match, even though the sign at the door states that they won't be beaten on price. The price match was with expert electrical, I didn't understand the issue. After some time asking for an explanation that never came I got the price match. I've decided going forward that I will buy from the other business with the lower price rather than go to Harvey Norman and be made feel like I was looking for a hand out.

I went to Harvey Norman to buy my husband a record player and with the variety they stocked l was lost but a very nice salesman came to help me out & he?was so pleasant and explained the difference between some of the stock that was on display & l decided to go with this gentleman's knowledge and advice & we got the one he recommended and he was absolutely brilliant with loud music from my husband's youth loud enough for people miles away to hear it. He's delighted with it & l cannot take the credit, it was thanks to the gentleman who did know what he was recommending & no problem whatsoever .Thank you.

My husband and I visited today to get a tumble dryer, and we were keen to have it delivered as we return to the UK in three days time. Our assistant spoke to Pat who very kindly offered to deliver it for us in his own car on his way home to Sligo. He duly did as he said and at the time agreed.
