F. C.Lough Mardal is a really beautiful place to relax and get back to nature. The yurts are so luxurious with the most incredibly comfortable beds in the world. We were toasty warm in the middle of winter thanks to the wood burning stove. Thank you so much for a magic weekend Claire & Marcus! We'll be back again soon!

V. Q.Gorgeous few days in the most beautiful surroundings. Everything was perfect, cooking facilities in the Lodge are ideal, shared space is stunning.
We were in the Sundew Yurt with lovely views of the lake and a cozy stove.
T. O.We had a fantastic stay at Lough Mardal. We've tried a good few glamping experiences around Ireland and this way by far the best. The Yurts are so nice and cosy, particularly with the wood stove. 10/10 would recommend.
R. A.Amazing place. Marcus is a gent! The beds are really comfortable and the Yurts are spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of hot water too. They could do with more sinks and toilets. It got busy near the end of the week. It's not good having to queue when you need to go 🤣. The views of the lake and forest are fabulous. The lake was nice for a swim, we'll be back with a kayak next time. Probably should point out we stayed for 7 nights. Most people stayed 2 nights. Our dog loved the bog and found a hiding place under the Yurt. We only found two ticks on her over the whole week of running around the tall grass and bog.
We had a wonderful stay and will be back. 😁

Kids had great time, running around and exploring, making friends and toasting marshmallows on the campfire. Special thanks to the girls and Archie :-) We will definitely be back.

The communal area has everything you need, a big kitchen, games, books and a huge fire place that is being built at the minute. The yurt was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. R. F.Lough Mardal Lodge is by far one of the most unique and unforgettable places ive ever stayed.
From the domed sky light in the centre of the yurt to a very well stocked stove with incredibly cozy arm chairs either side. Not to mention the most inviting and breath taking main lodge equipped with individualised lockers and cubby holes in the kitchen for each yurt every aspect of the lodge is thoroughly and thoughtfully thought through and would make any trip special.
While due to covid the owners, Claire and Marcus stayed distant to us and other guests, they made sure to say hello and make us feel welcome. Its plain to see they have poured a lot of love into the lodge and we felt right at home from the off set. We will certainly be back for more star gazing and morning breaky out on the private decking each Yurt has.
V. T.While travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way, I stayed here for a night with my boyfriend and I wish we could have stayed longer! The place was stunning. The land was so peaceful and remote and not to mention being greeted by the lovely Archie (best dog ever) made my day. This was before we got to see our beautiful Yurt! Marcus was there to greet us and show us around the area, so friendly and easy to chat to! He then brought us to our Skydew Yurt which was bright, cosy and equip with its own stove fire, comfy bed and beautiful decor. We spent some time in the Reciprocal room, the design of the whole lodge is brilliant, you will want to build your own Natural lodge after seeing this place (and trust me you wont need your phone because its full of books and board games!). The whole area is amazing. Words can't really describe it, you need to see it for yourself. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, especially if you're looking for an escape from society to the - real world -. I felt so calm and connected to the surrounding nature. Get yourself out here! I will definitely be back.

T. C.Lough Mardal is an absolute gem, the spectacular lakes, mountain and forest views are mesmerising. The wonderful hosts Clare and Marcus were very friendly and their children made us feel like one of the family. I will be certainly be coming again.
