Really a great place to stroll around and do some carefree plant related shopping. The staff is approachable and helpful, and not pestering you with questions. They ask you if they can help you out in any way and are available for questions, but don't follow your every step, so you can stroll and do your browsing at your own pace. The variety of plants is also good and they also offered some discounts on certain plants whenever I went there. I'd highly recommend to anyone to come and see for themselves.

I am in love with this place. They have so many cute houseplants and the layout is perfect so that you can grab plants, then find pots for them, and then grab top soil near check out. My only complaint was that there wasn’t any staff around to ask questions but regardless I will definitely be back for more soon!

An enchanting little gem that will demand return visits. The plant selection and layout feels like walking through some magical little forest, with some plants and flowers I've never even seen before, fruits growing on vines, bonsai, cacti and pretty much anything else you're looking for. I’ve been building my sanctuary in my flat’s balcony with plants and features from Urban Life. A home without plants is not a sweet home. As we are all spending more time at home since covid19 hit us, I realised my apartment was lifeless and dull. Luckily I found Urban Plant Life to supply me with all the green and other colours I needed for my flat. Incredible how plants can add instant beauty to any space. You’ll find pretty much everything you need for gardening, including good varieties of plants, compost soil, pots, fertilizes, etc. Nice selection of indoor plants as well. Urban Plant Life is truly a gem right in the heart of Dublin! My partner and I are plant enthusiasts and were absolutely overjoyed by the collection of plants that they have. It's fair to say that they have a little something for everyone - from succulents to tropical plants, and from bonsais to artificial plants! The staff are very friendly and helpful which always makes our visit even more special. The website allows you to book the plants and then you can pop in and collect them in your own time! We recently got some beautiful plants from them and they seem to be doing really well. Can't wait for them to expand and perhaps do home deliveries!

One of my favourite shop in Dublin, it is a clever recovery of dismissed industrial sheds and buildings giving s peculiar charme to the place. A lot of beautiful plants at very beautiful price, cheaper than elsewhere. Lot of choices, lot of tools and materials, well organized. It's a surprising big space close to the city center mostly organized in sun-rooms and green houses. Due to works on a building aside the entrance, under an arch, it could be not evident where this business is. Yet, to find it, is worth the effort and I'm sure, you, like me, will return to visit again. One more thing: don't miss the sunroom of succulent plants.

The staff is lovely and the variety of plants they have is like no other store in Ireland! They have a herb garden, a green house, a specific environment to keep the tropical plants at and we can even hear classic music on the background - both plants and customers are treated very well. Prices are fair too. I recommend it and will go back many times.

This has been my go to place for buying plants since I first got into the hobby last year. Great selection of plants and really nice staff. But just a warning to monitor any plants for fungus gnats as they always manage to come back with me. I did also have a problem once with an order where one of my plants was dried up and completely shriveled when I went to collect it and I couldn’t bring it back to life when I brought it home so that was a bit disappointing. But those are the only issues I’ve had, all my other plants I’ve bought from here are thriving so I would recommend!

It's hidden gem in the city. I had been looking for air plants, only found them there. Quite an open space where you can find most your indoor and outdoor garden needs. Before you notice, Autumn is already here with us. Quite like how the garden centre just casually wires the vine along the railings. The shining round gems are peeping out between the yellowish green leaves.

He not only informs you about plants but also welcomes you with nice chat! There is an old piano inside and one of their regular customers recently started to play- an hour piano show! Second time I've ordered plants from them, and it's well worth it. The plants are in great condition, and they stay healthy. I've bought plants online from other places and they're not as healthy. There was one mistake in my order but staff were more than happy to assist and solve the problem. The only downfall I would say is the cost of delivery, however, I must say that the company did discuss alternatives with me but I was happy to proceed with paying the high delivery cost as I really wanted these plants. Guys, if you're gonna go anywhere for garden/houseplant needs this is the only place you should be going. If you are only starting out, please go here, the staff are so helpful they will help you find plants and accessories for care with friendly, genuine enthusiasm. I had a few questions and before I even got a chance to seek help, a super friendly and knowledgeable staff member- Will approached us and showed us around, answering all our questions and so attentive that he noticed a cut on my leg and offered me a plaster from their first aid kit he is a pure gentleman! I was so happy with the price of their indoor plants especially considering they are NOT bulk bought, they only buy in as they need. They literally stock everything I will ever need so I've no reason to go anywhere else, and you would go for the shopping experience alone. See you again soon!

I have not been to their physical shop. But due to Covid I was able to order from them online. Excellent service with an easy to navigate website and great prices. Great concise info on how to care for each plant that you buy. Delivery came when they said it would which I was happily surprised with considering the circumstances. This is my favourite plant shop in the world - I've been sourcing pretty much all my plants from Urban Plant Life for the past ten years and they are all beautiful, in tip top condition and thriving. Most beautiful garden centre I've been in. I love bringing friends and seeing their surprise as you pass through the entrance into a secret garden off Cork St. Really helpful and friendly staff, I've bought all my houseplants there, along with pots and compost. Great one stop shop and also has some fun bits (venus fly traps & air plants!). I like to just pop in if I'm walking past to enjoy the plants, though it is hard not to leave without something. Popped in today and left with three new plants...and potting soil... and several pots... So be warned, self control required!

Bought a plant, didn't check at the time of purchase, but the plant was full of bugs, which led the plant not to blossom and die off. It also affected my over plants at home. Anyways, went back to buy bits and pieces and to let a lady that works there know about the bug problem in their place and how the bug infestation had affected my plants. She didn’t acknowledge or offered A discount for my next purchase, or a refund on the plant that was bought full of bugs. I have learned from my mistake and check the plants for bugs
