R. B.I love this garden centre. We had our wedding photos taken here in August. It was lovely to go back and walk around with such lovely memories. Would highly recommend wedding photos being taken here there is such a variety of scenes and the gardens are put together so well. All they require you to do is call up and book. But they don’t charge its amazing. If I could give them a 10 star I would.

S. K.Arboretum is one of our favourite places to go whether we need to pick up something for our garden or just want to have a wee nosy about all the beautiful plants and flowers. The staff is always extremely hospitable and politely answer any and all questions us novice gardeners have showing a depth of knowledge and expertise that adds a lot of value to the experience. The cafe is delicious too!

a. c.We just had lunch here in the Arboretum restaurant. There were 5 of us. My wife, myself and three kids.
We ordered the salmon and cod fish pie with white wine and fresh dill sauce. It was excellent . The best food we have had in ages. The kids had pasta.. They ate every bit of it. We also indulged with the fabulous banoffe pie and pecan roulade. Delicious.. Coffee was excellent too.
Staff are friendly and a special thank you to the brilliant chef Darren who looked after us so well.
We will definitely be back to eat here again.. I'm thinking next weekend..

Arboretum is a surprise.... Especially the Secret Gardens you can loose yourself in there for a while. Garden centre I well stocked. and colourfull. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice for children. Good space for disabled.. Lovely restaurant

E. M.The garden centre is well stocked, rather on the pricey side, the staff is there rather for watching you than help. The garden centre itself would get about 2 stars from me. The recall fun starts i the gardens at the back, I was overwhelmed by the design, the whole concept, planting and size of the gardens. One of the must to see if you like gardening!

A. W.A beautiful series of linked gardens with extensive close packed planting in lush arrangements. The site is not that large so distances easily managed for most but some narrow paths, steps and slopes which add to the beauty but might be awkward for those with mobility issues. There were seats and benches here and there if you need to rest for a bit.
It's attached to a garden centre which had a nice arrange if plants for sale, done quite unusual..prices about what one would expect. The restaurant had an excellent range of extremely tasty looking hot and cold menu options and was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful taking time to escort a coeliac customer around the extensive displays of food to point out their gluten free options. The public conveniences were set away from the restaurant across the garden centre courtyard..basic but clean.

A. C.I really love this place and for many different reasons. The top reason is as a welcoming botanical gardens with lovely fountains and landscape architecture. Secondly the cafe is very good for coffee and breakfast/lunch. Thirdly, there’s a playground for kids and kids just love exploring the gardens. Fourthly the garden nursery has some very nice plants and trees for sale. This is an amazing place! Well done Arboretum!

S. M.This is a gorgeous garden centre which also displays many garden styles for you to walk through. All the plants are very reasonably priced. There is also a lovely cafe located inside which offers lots of baked goodies and meals that include side salads etc.
They offer coffee/tea machines for those not ordering food as an option or they have a barista by the tills to make you a coffee of your choice.
They are also dog friendly and offer water bowls and food bowls for doggies :)
R. M.We visit here regularly and it has never failed to impress. Lovely food and coffee made by chatty staff who know their job. Lovely landscaped different styles of gardens and of course an array of plants bushes flowers and trees to purchase. Statues ornaments and all types of garden equipment also available to purchase from a very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are always on hand to answer your questions.

O. H.I had a most restful time walking around the gardens. So much to see and choose from trees,flowers,shrubs, garden furniture and ornaments! A lovely cafe/resturant to relax in and taste good food and cakes. Child and dog friendly so keep them safely near you,lots of ponds so water is nearby. There are lilies in bloom too, in the ponds.

J. O.Lovely hidden gem. We arrived STARVING after our intended breakfast stop turned out to be closed. Expected it to be expensive, but the cafe was very reasonable. Tasty choices. Garden centre has lots to offer for a browse and kids enjoyed the playground while I shopped. I wasn't aware of the garden exhibits until I came upon them, and was amazed at how they went on and on. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore, an adventure for kids and great inspiration for adults. Definitely worth stopping by!
M. C.Nice gardens, was a bit disappointed with food availability in the cafe but I am a picky eater and the carvey was lamb. 9 times out of 10 I have no problems. All in all a lovely day out and the gardens are well worth walking around. Great for kids.

A. P. P. a. A.I love this garden center, it's second only to Mount Usher gardens in Ashford. I spent an hour and a half walking around, taking photos and just admiring the gardens. Each garden leading you into the next one, yet each individual garden been unique in its own right. If you love color, flowers, smells, the great outdoors then give this place a visit. It's beautiful in every sense of the word. A little piece of paradise in Kilquade.

I like the surroundings, the staff, the cleanliness, the decor and of course the food. There's also plenty of parking, at least in the mornings. My one gripe is that I don't think it's great value but that's probably just me being a bit tight!

J. K.If you are in Wicklow and you are bored. Look no further. The staff in both the café and the shop were super awesome . You can walk around the garden and it is like an outdoor IKEA. The gardens give you ideas if you are remodelling your own garden. And there is a playground there so kids could have fun. Also how you get there is good aswell whether you're coming from the N11 or Kilcoole because the scenery is amazing. Keep up the good work folks

D. T.It's large and there are few if any bargains here as everything is top whack prices but I suppose that's Dublin for you. For example, I was looking for Olearias - they had hastii in their sale corner reduced to €6 from €12.95 - problem is that I just bought some of these up at home in the west and full price they cost me €4 each! However, I found an olearia variety I haven't found around home here to add to my olearia heavy garden and I paid the full €12.95 price! 🤞 I did enjoy their multitude of miniature water gardens one leading into the next at the rear of the centre and I also enjoyed that dogs on leads are welcome! My dog was startled to meet herself in one of the little streams which had a mirror barrier across it - it took her a good 30 seconds to work out that it was herself approaching! Culchie dog - not used to such garden decor as mirrors! But, all those mini gardens are wonderful to explore and enjoy! Someone needed to give the garden furniture in them a good wash down as it was all covered in green algae - maybe an unfortunate side effect of all that water?

C. M. G.A gorgeous garden centre in the garden of Ireland. It used to be the National Garden Centre. The Arboretum have done an excellent job here . Beautiful flowers trees and garden furniture. The jewel in the crown is it's restraunt . Delicious food just like their place in Loughlinbridge in Kilkenny. Wheelchair accessible and toilets. Well worth a visit.
