I would definitely recommend Patrick's English academy. If you're looking for engaging lessons, with a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning, you are in good hands here. As a student you feel pushed to learn new vocabulary and grammatical structure and the teacher is always there to give you feedback that allows you to improve. I would definitely choose them again.

I definitely recommend Patrick´s academy! Having a medium-advanced level I always find it difficult to improve and progress with my English. These classes were very practical, dynamic and detail-oriented. The small groups allow for personalised teaching and the teacher was very good at correcting our mistakes. I started with them in February 2021 and I will definitely continue and recommend them. Their method is very different (positively) from those used in other academies I have been to. Study at home and resolve doubts and consolidate in classes. They provide you with all kinds of material to study and learn. Likewise, Patrick and your teacher are always available for questions. And the classes are with small groups, 100% practical and in English, very enjoyable and fun. You learn and improve day by day without realizing it. In these months I have had 3 different teachers, which is interesting, because each one has a slightly different accent and way of teaching class. I have been at the academy for 9 months and from the beginning I loved the classes. With games, discussions and learning new things, the hours flew by. It has classes focused on general English and classes focused on preparing for exam exercises. I have passed C1! I went to Cork for a 6-month stay with the aim of passing the C1 in English. I went to visit Patrick Academy and Patrick's enthusiasm made me bet on his academy. He has his own method, and it works! The classes are oral and they review, among other things, the vocabulary that he himself has selected because it usually appears in the exams. Patrick knows a lot of Spanish so he has a book designed for us. To give you an idea, the first chapter is called "typical errors" with all the mistakes that we Spaniards usually make when we speak English. I made them all at the beginning. Now, as I said, I have the C1. Every week he made us deliver a writing so that, in a few months, I had already written several examples of essay, formal letter, report... Patrick's success is, I believe, in the fact that he has gone through the entire process when he studied Spanish. He has a very positive attitude towards learning and it sticks with you.
