I dropped off a couple of coats, a dress and skirt for a mix of cleaning and alteration. The guys were really lovely to deal with, so professional and it's clear that they love what they do! They were perfectionists when it came to pressing and cleaning, and kept one dress for a week longer to ensure the stain came out as well as they possibly could get it (and it's pretty much invisible). I will definitely be using them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

I had two jackets which needed cleaning. Both had stains which looked similar and were on the same position on each jacket, so I asked that these be given special attention. I said the job wasn't urgent and knew from previous experience that I'd get a text message when they were ready for collection. Instead of a text message, I got a phone call, apologising for what they considered a delay, explaining that stain removal was proving especially difficult with one of the jackets. The other jacket was available for collection, but I said I was happy to wait until both were ready. Sure enough, I duly got the usual text message to say both were now ready, and I collected them. I was so impressed by the phone call that I offered to pay a bit extra, but they wouldn't hear of it. I cannot praise First Class Dry Cleaners enough. I have always been more than satisfied with their service, but I feel they went above and beyond in this case. Well done, and thanks for excellent customer service.

Derek and co was so so helpful. 100% all round! Outstanding service. My partner has used for years. I had an absolute disaster having collecting my dress for a wedding from another alterations service in the area to be giving my dress back absolutely filthy dirty. I arrived at these guys door 3 minutes away from closing time needing my dress dry cleaned for early the next morning for the wedding I was attending. The guys at First Class went above and beyond for me. I am so so grateful and it's really was a First Class experience with them. Would not go to anywhere else for dry cleaning/alterations in the future. Thanks again guys!! 1000% recommend to everyone!

The suit I ordered online didn’t arrive in time for my wedding, so I bought another suit the day before my wedding. Patrick was “First Class”. He altered my suit and tailored my shirt all at the 11th hour. These alterations made all the difference on the day and I can’t thank him enough.

Been there only once yet, but I sure will comeback soon. Dropped a 2 piece suit that needed a button to be fixed and cleaning, with 6 white shirts. 60€ with a 3 days delay, and they seemed very busy also. All that sounds quite faire to me. They do not have a loyalty programme tho, that would be my only complaint, would be nice to be rewarded for loyalty, even if it's not much. Safe in terms of covid also, limit of customer in the shop, sanitizer, plastic divider on the counter, and masks.

Excellent service. Dropped a suit and shirt in around midday and I had them back the same day before close of business. Friendly and helpful staff and reasonably priced. Many thanks

My baby girls christening dress was way too big for her as I ordered it online and spent a fortune on it. It was altered within a week (difficult alteration to do as the whole dress had to be taken apart) they done an amazing job and I'm chuffed with it. Couldn't recommend a better place to go

I have been a customer of First Class Dry Cleaners for many years. The Service Derek and his colleagues provide is always excellent and very professional. Also it is a very friendly place to go to for your Dry Cleaning needs and alterations. Recently Derek has changed his Dry Cleaning product from a chemical based product to a much more Eco friendly, enviromently friendly one. I am delighted with the quality of cleaning that this new product does, it seems to be much less harsh to clothes and the clothes smell much nicer.

I have been to First Class Dry Cleaners for many alterations and dry cleaning services and they have been exceptional every time. Most recently they altered a bridesmaids dress for me and turned it around so quickly. Patrick in particular was excellent. The staff are so always so obliging and everything is done to such a high standard and very reasonably priced. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I got my wedding dress and cover-up altered here with Derek. The alterations are perfect! He did an amazing job! Great quality and good price and very helpful and professional. Came here from a friends recommendation and would highly recommned to others myslef. Added bonus is they're open during lockdown and the shop is being upgraded and looks great!

The other great thing is when I leave my suits in and if there is any alterations that need to be done Derek will ring me and ask do I want them done. Nice friendly staff.

Really are First Class! I had my wedding dress altered with Derek and Patrick recently and I am absolutely delighted with the result. Couldn't be happier! They were both so pleasant and couldn't do enough. I was nervous about getting my dress changed but it was just perfect when they were finished. They were so patient (I wanted to change it a couple of times sorry guys!) and accommodating. Given the amount of work, it was very cheap. Will 100% be going back again. This is an absolute gem of a place that I’ve been using since 2015! It’s within walking distance of Croke Park stadium and the Croke Park hotel - should you have any last minute dry cleaning or alterations ahead of a big conference or meeting. Apart from the excellent dry cleaning, their alterations are exceptional too. I’m quite tall and always need alterations on my trousers etc. Every time I’ve been really happy with their work. I value their skills so much that I even trusted them with my wedding suit!! Their time keeping is also brilliant. They tell you when it will be ready and also text you too when it’s ready as a reminder (very handy). No estimates, no messing about. Just a prompt and efficient service. The price is reasonable too!! The staff are so nice and always have a friendly smile and a chat for you when you pop in. Call me old fashioned, but this is important and it’s another main reason why I continue to use them. There are other franchises out there that I’ve tried in Dublin that offer the same services, but not the same quality as ‘First Class Cleaners’. Keep up the good work folks :)

These guys are superb at alterations. Got a lace embroidered evening dress altered here before Christmas. Fits like a glove and you'd never be able to tell where on the dress it was altered. First Class Dry Cleaners is an absolute GEM in the heart of Fairview. Their Dry Cleaning Service is SECOND TO NONE and their Alteration Service is just AMAZING. They have repaired so many of my favourite items of clothing over the years, stuff that I was ready to throw out reluctantly. They have literally performed miracles on - my favourite black skirt, the fab top that I scorched with the iron, and my latest repair by nipping in the waist of a pair of Zara trousers which were too big for me. My father died two years ago and the night before the funeral, in a panic, they took up the hem on my son's new purchased suit in 30 minutes and all at very reasonable price. They took the stress out of a suit purchase with trousers which were too long and needed to be altered fast. We had tried one or two places in town after buying the suit and all said at least one day required. So immediately I headed to Fairview. Plus these guys are so incredibly nice and so positive and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend First Class Dry Cleaners as the best of its class in Dublin. It is my No 1 place.

Derek looked after my wedding dress when i found a pen stain on it. 2 weeks before the wedding, he did the final alterations to my dress and those of the bridesmaids. Brought my dad (84years old) to First Class Dry Cleaners as he needed to have 2 suits altered. What a professional team we dealt with from the minute we walked in. Derek and his team are very professional in their alterations techniques - What a skill !!! They successfully carried out the alterations (taking 4inches of the trouser waist). The two suits looked brand new and were pressed to perfection. My dad was really delighted and they treated him with such respect. While we were in the shop a number of other customers arrived to collect or leave in alterations to be carried out or cleaning. Derek and the team displayed amazing customer care skills engaging the customer in discussion as to what the customers requirement was. Price range is affordable and you definitely get what you pay for .......................excellent, professional service and product. Will definitely be dealing with these guys in the future.

I have used this dry cleaners regularly over the years. Derek and his team provide an excellent service. An example of this was when I got a green stain from a marker on my cream jacket. I thought the jacket was ruined. Derek managed to remove the stain and the jacket was as good as new.

If you have a disaster stain that needs removing this is 100% the place to go. Lent my favourite dress to a friend who got something (??) on it, took it to my usual dry cleaners and they cleaned it twice but no luck. Brought it to this place and it was done perfectly, no sign of stain, really excellent professional service would highly recommend.
